I have Vista 64bit and i can lock up my 550BE to B50 X4, but just before when itīs time to loggin in Windows my computer restart. Why??
I have try to raise CPU, CPU-NB and HT volt, but it will not work.
In Windows XP 32bit itīs work fine but it not stabe yet.
This is my computer:
MSI DKA790GX Platinum / AMD PhenomII X2 550BE 3.1Ghz 1.28v @ 3.6Ghz 1.28v /stepping CACYC AC 0920GPMW / Thermalright Ultra-120 eXtreme, Noctua NF-P12 Fan / 2x2048 A-Data Vitesta Extreme Edition PC8500 1066Mhz+ 5-5-5-15 2T (2.1v) / Corsair HX520W

any bios for the MSI DKA 790GX PLATINUM?
I've got the same FF post code error. Seems to happen when I shut down the system and then try to boot up again. I've only been able to resolve it by clearing the CMOS and then setting ACC etc in the BIOS again. Hopefully this is just a bug that will be resolved in the next BIOS revision.
yes i found too but you can try keep HT multi at x8 (2000) while you push FSB to 250. At this config isues "FF" code hang at boot is gone.

Ok will try this.....lets see how it goes.
Well...for some reason my ram wont clock to specs...no reply from OCZ either....baaaah...no idea what to do..
The Bios is Rock. Thanks.
Its unlock my X3 710. Thaks again.
A lot of Phenom II processors won't run DDR3-1600 speeds, although they will run lower speeds with very tight timings. It may not be the board/RAM, but rather the integrated memory controller holding you back. I can't seem to get my OCZ low voltage kit to run at 1600MHz regardless of the timings, but it'll run 1333MHz at 5-5-6-24. The only thing that may help is to give a large boost to the CPU-NB voltage.
Tried that upto NB of 1.35 but no go...I guess I will just have to live with this. ARe u using the amd platinum ocz kit. if so can u share your timings??
This is my X3 710

auto settings seem to work well (if i can say that after 15 min) with the default 10x ht multiplier
