Personally, I feel less is more. Traditional EK logo, no flashy colors or LEDs, derlin and nickel plated! ... either way though Eddy you've developed yet again another magnificent product. My only complaint is I can't buy it right now!
The one with partial Red akrilik top n then combined black nickle plated finish base will be nice pls is more stain proof, n then combined with led like the one came with the mb
estimated price?
ETA?
Let me know what you think about this design as for me plain surface looks a little boring to me :)
omg pr0n:shocked:
Wow, this is getting better and better. The new one is the best looking design yet, IMO. :)
Eddy,
That simple look is my favorite so far. Clean look for sure, with enough custom touch to show quality. Again my opinion.
eddy, why not have a poll with the designs you have come up with? and let all the XS-ers vote?
Eddy wouldn't it be very cool to put EVGA on the plexi part, but in the EVGA font as well?

Hmm... hope EVGA isn't going to make trouble over that idea
What about the thickness of the whole thing? I can imagine that it might look a bit more elegant if it had less thickness. Just a few mm off the copper, for example. Might also cut expenses a little.
I don't know about minimum required thickness for stability etc. but if it can be done, it might look good.
Awesome block. I think I will keep my air cooling atm and skip the BP/Koolance blocks until this block is released. I dread short, generally useless and aesthetically unpleasant looking loops.
man that looks great
can you do a render in acrylic top instead of delrin?
What a great way to design a product, get the concept then work with the end users to refine it... Hats off to you eddy
Looks great Eddy. I'm not a huge fan of the X58 on the link piece but I do like the red.
When can I buy a few?
Is there no chance for a clear top version for the full board with the red in the middle. Just I have clear tops for my GTX295 and EK Supreme. Thanks Eddy, Looking great. I like the X58 better than the other text.
just a question for you waterblock manufacturers...
increasing the surface area of the derlin part, of course, more manufacturing time due to more machining process, but adding ridges on the top, would it not help a bit by increase heat transfer by air as well as water?
and the font for the "x58" is a bit too plain...
RIOT!!!
NICKLE!!!
RAWR!!!

Eddy, that last design will make me buy a Classified board just to have that block on it!!! Good work!
EVGA is also currently testing a classified block as well, so as above maybe legal issues.
really... knowing EVGA it won't be cheap... look at their hydrocopper blocks...
Eddy take a look:

Also red plexi with half of thickness will be awsome!
If you can use that design im first on your list ;)
^
That looks great, and since its not using EVGAs brand name you might avoid legal trouble.
[OT]Eddy will you be making an R2E block like this one?[/OT]
I think the above would look really good without the EK logo, but from where eddy is sitting he wants it on there somewhere :)
