what MCH voltage are you using again?
have you tried pushing it a bit more

Thank you m8! ;)
I used 1.70VMCH then.
Now I use 1.75-1.77V.
But the situation is not so improved..... :(
I need much trial and time. :D
Thank you for your helpful advice, eva2000-san! :)
I also think key is in GTL ref volts like DFI P35 mobo. :p:
I will search and try GTL mod for P5K.
Then I have a bit improvement of pifast.
I used before-san's setting. :D
Thank you so much for your advice, before-san!

I discovered the p5b dlx in 2006, and you enlight it again in 2008 !! great job as always :toast:
Yes, i think the problem can be the new bios for wolfyes on P5K series...in fact yesterday i tried to bench again with this new bios on my 665 fsb E6850 but surprise...i found the fsb wall around 610 Mhz like on 8500...:shakes: this can suggest that somethings on new bios limit our clock. You know the best bios on p5k for exaple was 0414...with another bios i reached only 5500Mhz vs 5740Mhz reached using 0414 (E6850)...maybe the situation is similar.
I tried to play with pll but nothing happened...tried from 1.5 to 1.8.
It's blocked on fsb
Do you think we can hope in a new p5k bios like old 0414?
Good going fellas. :)
GTL Ref V is needed to stabilize higher FSB/Mem straps, to remain within the narrowed margins. More important with DDR3 FSB:RAM ratios.
ASUS is know traditionally to decrease NB performance and increase it's latencies to allow higher FSB. So when benching, keep this in mind. ;)
Thank you, misteroadster-san. :)
I am glad to still take an active part P5B Deluxe. :D
I think we can hope it. :yepp:
Even if it is useless, some good method will be found. :D
Thank you for your opinion and advice, KTE-san. :)
Actually there are some P5K and P35 mobo that can work by high FSB with Wolfdale.
I want to know what difference are there from my P5K..... :D
 Insane FSB and CPU clock ..... im wordless..
New bios for p5k...1005,tried now. Solved my cold boot problems, now start without problems at -130°. But for other issue :shakes:
Good update NewBeetle-san...
Watching your progress and 2d damage...
Keep pushing it.
nice update
Cant wait to read more about your progress Newbeetle-san
Amazing FSB This will be a very exclusive club !!
Thank you, Oliver-san. :)
Now I'm a 3D Bencher. :p:
Next week I'll be back the Pi world. :D
Thank you , THC-san. :)
I want to get good results of 8M and 32M next runs. :D
Thank you so much, diezel-san. :)
Hi, my friend KTE-san. :)
I want also to hear your idea.
I will wait until you have time. ;)

Well done NewBeetle!
I wish i could hear the sound of your P5B while benching pifast at those monster clocks :p:
Nice WR NewBeetle-san. The 965 chipset doesn't stop surprising me. I noticed you had you northbridge cooled to -45C. Did you notice a coldbug if you got too cold? How much did that help your FSB or stability?
