Most quads wont be able to handle the heat output on AIR @ anything higher then 3.6ghz on WCG. Trust me on this dave. If you can squeeze 3.7ghz on air, and still keep happy happy temps then i would set it at that.

If your quad does 4.0ghz on air, i think eric will be bashing his head on his desk going DOE! i lost another good one.

Anyhow... Yes! we need pics of it running!

As I sit here munching a big chunk of Ohio Amish Cheddar, sent to me by littleowl (THANKS!!), I ponder this....Where is the world's best cheddar made???

I'll say Ohio, unless someone convinces me otherwise.....and yes, I have plenty of dairy farmer relatives in Wisconsin. Not even close to this stuff.....:up:

I've had some of the import Irish white cheddar, again, not even close...good, but not there.....

and two more..The case is a Lian Li PC76..2 inches wider than a normal tower, 4-80's front,120 rear and a 120 blowhole.Simply the best case ever made IMO. You can stuff 16 drives in it and a DVDRW if you wanted. They don't make these anymore. Took me a year to find this. Got it from eBay for $275.00 2 years ago.

BTW some motivation, you get 4.0GHZ WCG stable on that beast and I will send 2 x 1 GB of some D9GKX I have laying around you can pair up with those tracers for a 4GB rig.

I have never been one for being anal over cable management but I sat there doing this and figured that if people thought enough of me to do this I owed them the best job I could do.
That may sound corny but it's how I feel.

Not a toy, this is a worker..I think it still needs a little tweaking..
Checked this am and saw Boinc not "connected" and that pissed me off.

5.10.13 has been solid for me but I am trying 5.10.20 x64 on my XP Pro x64 boot.

I just may bite the bullet and put win2K3 64 in there.
I was trying to stay away from that because I want to use the quad as my main machine.
Win2K3 although stable as hell is a PITA for an everyday machine..

Yea, I installed, took the pics, then realised and changed it..It's blowing through now and the 120 case exhaust is taking it right out..
