Would you rather have PC2-8000, or D9 fatty? The reason I ask is because those OCZ EB Titanium's use D9 fatty ;)Quote:

I will give OCZ props for trying to do something different, I would much rather have a good bin of a nice module, than a crappy bin of a module that is very expensive :)
Your worried your ram wont match your other componets NN ?:stick:
Regardless of the hilarious heatspreader fiasco (and I gotta admit, I the find the drama over a small piece of metal funny beyond all-else), i'm with the comment about high-binning on an available chip over expensive non-existant chips. I'm curious how these will be priced, what chips they are, and how they do with greater volts. I'm still on that mission to find something that's affordable that will do ddr2-800+ cas3 with however many volts before converting to a ddr2 platform. Even if this isn't it, props for another product to keep ddr2 moving forward to mass(er?) acceptance. Heatspeaders don't matter to me, it's the OCZ customer service, and apparently now, comic relief.
and btw...
Me, weed flag guy, and the dude with Brad in his sig/avy resent that remark. :slap: (jk..:toast:...Only love.)Quote:

They are cas 3 @ 2.2V, but no extra EVP protection
Edit : has been partially posted by Ryder, hadn't seen that. But he didn't link to the modules ;)
As far as I know 4-4-4 ddr1000 is the spec with a PR this week. On Intel I have seen cas3 at 1000 but this is board and platform specific.
Tony : you're spot on :toast:Quote:

i think that's a brilliant idea... individualized hardware:)Quote:
Each Titanium Alpha module has its own unique color scheme and displays interchanging shades depending on the lighting and angle of the heatspreader. No two Titanium Alpha modules look alike.
Hmm, site list 2.4v EVP, I thought it was 2.3???
Do you want lower voltage protection?Quote:

I thought it was 2.25+5% which is 2.3625V, unless they changed it.Quote:

2.4V ± 5% = 2.4 + 0.12 = 2.52V :toast:
Hey why are you discussing heatspreaders... None would be the best :)
Eta?
Edit: Looks like its going to be released on the 7/07/06, for around 460ish. I picked up a set should be shipped in the next few days.

First place to have it, as yet the only place so as more have it in stock the price should get more competitive. We are ramping up shipping so you should see ore resleers soon featuring it.
