You have to look @ the part number to identify the chip.

They are on the list! You need a lot of voltage to make them overcome that barrier (more than 3,5V perhaps).

I just want to give a big thanks to everyone who contributed to this RAM list, its amazing. I can't even remember how many amazing deals its gotten me on memory, every time I see XMS or HyperX memory selling for cheap the first thing I do is ask the revision number and head on over here. You would be surprised how many people are selling BH-5/6 and don't even know it.

stable 2-2-2-5 @ ~2,8V @ 200 Mhz --> BH5.

are you sure that the mushkin level 1 3500 are ch-5?

cause mines act like if they were bh-5 ( low timming, high frecuencies :D )

i own the silver heat spreader one`s..

any one knows the posibility of being bh-5??

also where i can find the jumper for the lanparty sli-d?' cause i wanna reach 280 mhz with thight timmings jejjee..

It wont do 2,2,2,X at 2.8, ahh well for £35 i cant really complain for 512mb.

its at the top right by the ram heatsink, for 3.2+ it should be on the left

They could be good CH-5 :D, but I don't exclude they could be BH-5 too.

It's actually a Rosewill stick that's rebadged PQI memory (all they did was put a Rosewill sticker over the PQI sticker.) We were using it for a Carputer, but saw the BP PCB and it struck my curiosity. It was only $79 for 1Gb.

Depends, theres still some old stuff floating around, i got the old stuff :mad: . It might be it might not, only way is to order some and RMA it if it isnt??

Well at least the pcb is brainpower.

I just ordered a 512Mb kit from newegg, and since I am in Brazil I will have to wait my friends sister to bring it to me in two weeks. :(

The information for the Mushkin Blues is mostly correct if they were ordered recently from Outpost/Fry's. The dual packs were with the BH die, the single packs were with the CH die. The Mushkin Blues also had about 100 pieces of BH-5 on the Jadec PCB thrown in. The older Mushkin Blues had mosel chips.

Corsair's 3200C2s have been made in 5 main revisions with multiple subsets within those revisions. Without knowing the version # and lot # of the memory, it's impossible to say for sure what IC it is. Could be one out of at least 10 different kinds.

Problem with that is that they could have different revisions there. At best what someone else got, even if it's the same day, is just a guess.

They equals PC4800 by OCZ (both frequencies and timings are higher and for sure all PC4800 2,5-4-4-10 will hit PC5000 with those timings (3-4-4-10); they are the same memories with a different label in my opinion ;)).

The OFFICIAL certification is 3-4-4-10, while the official for PC4800 is 2,5-4-4-10 (so they are the same memories with a different label as I said before). I don't mind what they COULD perform but NOTHING could be better (at max they could equal) Samsung TCCD 440 on BrainPower PCB of G.Skill LA\LE\FF (notice: not all have 440 but this is for sure the best week of TCCD and almost all G.Skills have it, except for some 431, 437 that are in any case very good TCCDs).

Getting the PC4200 Platinum or PC4800 Platinum will insure you get TCCD. The PC3200 Plat Rev 2 uses the TCC5 as does the PC3700. The TCC5 does low latency 2-2-2 timings better.

I have a DFI Infinity NF2 board that does 250fsb 1:1. Currently I have a 512mb stick of Corsair 3500 c2. What would be another good stick of 512 to add to this combination? Also is there a stick that would be good later in a A64 motherboard too? I was thinking TCCD but I really do not know. Thanks!!!

TCC5 isnt BAD... its a GOOD thing people... so many people freak out over little changes :(

(not pointing out that user specificly, but it generalyl seems like people are freaking over TCC5.)

Hi, I just found out the PC4200, PC4800 and PC5000 are all TCC5 now. It looks like we have switched over completely. All former TCCD is now TCC5.

If I don't look at the markings I can't tell anyway. :)

I had a pair of TCCC sticks. I only tested them on my 32 bit system (NF7-S rev. 2 + 2500Mobile), they could run 205Mhz 2-2-2-7 and beyond that on 2,5-3-3-8 up to 235Mhz no memtest errors, they wouldnt get stable at 250Mhz no matter how relaxed I got the timings. But that was on Nforce 2 chipset, never tested them on Nforce 4. It would be an interesting thing to do, if only I had not sold them over to a friend, but I will try to get them for testing tomorrow, and post the later on..

BrainPower PCBs tend to overclock better than the standard or enchanced JEDEC PCBs. Why, I don't know. But they are a lot cheaper to produce than JEDEC PCBs thats for sure (its also rumoured that the BP808 do better than the BP815 PCBs...).

Exactely.

BP PCB is a 6 layer PCB, so it has less elettric noise than JEDEC (and this mean more overclock) and moreover it is cheaper to be produced.

OK, I have a NForce2 and I am looking at some new ram. Winbond chips don't play nice with my board...especially not BH-5. I am going with TCCD with PB PCB hopefully. Can you safetly run TCCD ram over 3.0v and does it show any improvement?

I've got some Mushkin L2V2 2x512 right now, but I'm planning on getting 4x512mb and instead of getting another set of l2v2 mushkin, I'm debating 2 sets of OCZ Gold 2x512 (New BH-5).

Couple of questions, anyone have any experience with this at 2.7-2.9v? Does it do the 2-2-2-5 timings? How far has anyone been able to push it?

Should I just get another set of Mushkin L2V2?

Board's a DFI NF4 Ultra-D, newest bios, and I'll be upgrading my Winchester 3000+ to an x2-4200 within the next month. Any input would definitely be appreciated!

ocz rates them 2-2-2@200 w/ 2.8v so it shouldn't be a problem. with 2.9v you can expect to get them to do something like 220 i think.

hey guys, im about to buy a pair of this memos for a 1gb dual channel kit.. i have to purchase them separatly cause they dont have twinx pairs. so i hope they give me the same perfomance as the ones selled as twinx..

so my question is.. if are you sure that this sticks are samsung tccd?? cause i have seen good reviews about them but i dont want to get wrong and get some hynix 5, or vitelic 5ns :mad: ..

so i appreciate that someone confirm that this are super cool samsung tccd as in the ram list!! is speciefied hehe :D
