Just woundering why you decided to go Pump>GPU>CPU>Rad>Res. I guess it don't really matter, but I would have ran it like Pump>Rad>CPU>GPU>RES.
Hmm, haven't thought of that before... But then the pump have to stand normal, and I have to use a L-piece before the inlet...Quote:

I have the Iwaki MD20RZT and made a custom res for it. The inlet of the pump is mounted right to the side of the res for max flow.
Cool! Any pics? :)Quote:

BTW: How noisy is the 20RZT?

The pump has that motor hum, but my case fans are louder. Here is a Link to that res I made.
How many db(a) do you think it is?Quote:

Well I would have to guess less than 35db, but I'm not a pro at that. I can say that the noise is not irritating.
Get gel-type Heel pad @ drugstore. Stick under pump. No transmitted pump noise or vibration

You know those really soft shock absorbing heel pads for inside the back of your shoes? Check out the local drug store or sports store?Quote:

since setup miracl, love your case. im planning on getting the same one but in black :D keep the pics coming ppl! :slobber:
P.S., :welcome: to XS :woot:
miracl...there is so much exposed aluminum and anodized aluminum in that loop...I hope to god you're using some sort of additive in a suitable amount.
Some tricks were needed to fit the dual heatercore in my chieftec matrix ;)
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...100169edit.jpg
Hehe, yes i am :) anti corrosion fluid & destilled water, but the alu is anodized so it shouldn't be a problem.. The water have been in the loop for about 6 month's now, still clear as new..Quote:

Oh.. I'm sorry! I haven't heard about that. Much less seen it! I'm trying to search for it, but can't find.. do you have a link? :)
You wont be able to access the thread, it is in the services section in the for sale part of the forum which needs 100posts to view.
If you are interested in one then i think MaxxxRacer is the one to PM.
They look like this if you are interested:

Hehe I might be interested, but I can't see the picture.. maby it's part of the 100 posts thingie :p:
Ive attached it to this post so everyone should be able to see it now.
G
congrats nubius! i remember the time when u all you could say about ur liquid cooling setup was how it sucks so bad. look MUCH better now, congrats again. :woot:
lol yeah, well just look at the difference, bigwater was chumpstyle, now I got 1/2" tubing going on with a good pump and good blocks.
Temps were hitting 50C when folding with 1.875Vcore at 2.5GHz, now Im running 1.925Vcore with 2.6GHz and it's hitting 45C during the hottest part of the day :D Normally it'd be hitting probably 55C or so with the tornado at full blast.
GPU Idle WAS 70C and load was 84C
now it's 47C idle and 51C load :D
I like that....4C different between idle and load...yummy :D
Now that it's up and running I gotta get pics of it without the paper towel :P not only that, but man I gotta add more dye lol, so it doesn't look so damn pink.
looks kind of neat but I'm not a believer in 'passive' anything :p
Guess technically water cooling without being chilled can be considered passive in a sense though
It looks aluminum. No thanks.
Convection only works if you have some serious surface area, and for anything more than a chipset that little passive rad wouldn't cut it.
And then of course, it's aluminum...so you'd have the whole corrosion thing coming into play sooner or later. Another thoughtless, flow killing, unpractical product from innovatek.
My comp with WC
love your fans on the top. btw, welcome to XS :woot: :toast:
my comp 2 with WC
Aight .... this is the final setup for this puter... it was WIP for a few weeks while waiting for the Maze4 Acetal Gpu block.. came a few days ago and this is it. Gonna skip the NB block since it will serve no purpose on Amd64 setup. Enjoy !!
FYI.. Cpu idles/loads at 27/34C and X800 XT PE idles/loads at 32/43C.

This is my w/c
Decided to put a server together and had some extra watercooling parts so I thought, might as well put them to use. Still missing RAM, but the loop is done and running fine.
OK, first I want to apologize in advance because I do not own, nor am I proficient in the use of, a digital camera. Some of the pictures are sideways which sucks, I wish I could flip them around but I am too lazy. Everything is in 1600x1200 so major 56k warning (for those not Xtreme enough for broadband). Also all of the pictures are incredibly blurry when viewed full size, so you are probably better off just looking at the thumbnails. Damn I wish I had good pictures. Whatever, enjoy!

wow zach i am speechless :D awesome case! that's my swify block i sold you!! i'm glad it's going to a good cause :)
thx man!
What case is that zeebs?
Silverstone Temjin TJ-03 in black. It is the same one falcon northwest uses on the Mach V. It is just like a huge Praetorian/Wavemaster on the inside.
EDIT: Water loop specs
Swiftech 6002
Danger Den Maze 4 Acetal GPU
Aquaextreme 50z pump
Black Ice Pro 3
HDPE reservoir
Panaflow fans on everything
I absolutely love the look of those, its my new favorite looking case. You could fit a triple 120mm radiator at the top? Could you measure clearance on the bottom more me? Width between drive cage and distance from case floor to third pci slot on your mobo?
(edt: also, what panaflos and is it quiet overall?)
Overall it is very quiet with all the fans running on low, silence was a priority with this case. The BIP3 fit only because I was using a smaller PSU, the PC Power and Cooling Turbocool 510 express. A deeper PSU like the OCZ powerstream would not leave enough room for the BIP3 to fit. I will try to take better pics or get someone to come over who can. Also I am a little confused by your measurement requests aside from the "3rd PCI slot from the bottom one" PM with details of what you want and I will measure for you.Quote:

M1A's on everything. I like the M1A's because they are decently quiet but still spin fast enough so that undervolting is effective.
Ah so you undervolt them? You know at 7v they are exactly L1A specs?
Then that's the equivalent of what I have. I use them at 7volts most of the time but I like the flexibility of having the full 12v speed if I ever need it.
Edit: A somewhat failed attempt at better pictures, lower resolution so the blur seen in the first set of pics is less pronounced.

oooh zeebs, are those patriots I see in there? :D That's what I got as well assuming that is infact what you have, I only assume because of the red heatspreaders honestly.
Good guess, but it's Mushkin :D
bah! Fooled! I thought they had predominately black heatspreaders....hmm oh well
EDIT: man, what a moron I am, I just now noticed I put 'read heatspreaders' meant red of course : :stick:
