Yeah I am still watching. Funny pics! We should have a thread with the pics like in the last round in the LC section. Seriously because I think people will interact well with it and at the same time we can make fun of myths, problems etc. Turns everything from a negative into a positive and perhaps get some ideas across for new products.

When I say I dont have time right now, I mean I have never been more busy with all of the things I have to do in my life than ever before. That said this busy schedule has been going on since about round 4 of the contest, it was unfortunate and unforseen but I will get to the tally when I can.
I Know what it's like to have a busy schedule but I'm curious to know why its taking so long... I've noticed that you've taken the time to review / post replies... How long does it really take to pick someone... Just a thought.... :shrug:

Why do you need all contestants' mailing address to figure out what the shipping cost is? Can you not calculate a shipping cost for whoever sent you their mailing address? Aren't the prizes supposed to be based on the points?
I have lots of prizes and I already listed who I need addresses from.
Sorry that this is so rinky dink and unprofessional, but its just the way I need it to happen so I know how much money I need to put towards shipping (looks like a lot due to international shipping). I am not a rich guy so its probably going to happen that I need to earn the money for shipping once I find out how many prizes are going where.
While I understand that, but I still don't understand why you need every contestant's mailing address in order to find out how much you will need to spend to ship all prizes. I mean it is not like you are going to ship all the prizes together to one location. Whoever sent you the mailing address first, why not ship it instead of waiting for all others to send you their mailing address? When you are out of funds, those who sent you the info late will have to wait. Just my idea. :shrug:

2 1/2 months later and there is still no posted winner? I wish there was something nice I could say snipe, but I can only offer these suggestions. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but it seems much of this could have been easily foreseen with a little planning and maybe hitting the USPS website to calculate some shipping costs to say, Siberia and use that as a worst case to plan your financial investment into shipping. Also, I am not sure how many "prizes" you are giving away, but that would be something to consider as well. 10 prizes that weigh in at 5-10 pounds could cost you plenty...

I'll be shipping prizes out once I go on Christmas break from uni, sorry the financial situation and other things just aren't permitting me to ship right now. Don't worry though you'll get your prizes eventually and the good thing about me going home before I ship is that a lightly used mcr320 and maybe even a pa120.2 will be added into the prizes.

I have two things to say, very simple.
1) I have a LIFE, I spend my money on my life first and this contest is not my priority. When I have the extra cash prizes will ship. end of story.
I planned to run this contest out of pocket until lamptron stepped in and I was promised money to ship the extra prizes they were sending me for this as a condition of their involvment, I never received that so things went awry. (I didn't really want to have to put that out in the open.)

Paycheck still not come in yet? I'm a very patient person... But this contest started at the beginning of fall term. Is there any hope of getting these prizes?
Ian aka Snipe Dogg received the items for the contest on September 1st 2009, he then received payment for shipping the items as agreed on September 3rd 2009 as confirmed by his emails, which I have here in front of me. I will be contacting the financial department directly to get a copy of the receipt of the shipping confirmation and I will forward it to whoever the admin is that is charge of monitoring this contest. If you were guaranteed a prize I recommend that you take the matter up with the XS admins at this point seeing as how Snipe Dogg has failed to complete his end of the bargain regarding the contest.
As far as Ian aka Snipe Dogg ever being involved with Lamptron sponsorship again, that will never happen so long as I oversee sponsorship requests here in the US. I will contact Asharaf directly regarding this to get a head start on the process.
I'm not saying what he did was right, and taking a long time isn't good either. But what motivation does he have? He left the forums right?

T o be fair, sniipe, you tarnished your own reputation by not following through with this in a timely manner. I was a big fan of yours before this - flow was incredible. But you can't blame us for whining a bit after having waited almost a term's length to ship prizes; you angered the sponsor (who you could have contacted when they promised you shipping $$ and they delivered insufficient funds - Spawne32 pointed to this) and misled us several times with the comments that Spawne32 quoted earlier. Please take responsibility for your actions (or lack thereof) instead of telling us that you're whining. I'm not calling you a criminal, I'm saying that you gave your word and broke it. These are small prizes, a thief you ain't - but a liar you are.
