My problem is the VTT, all under 1.55 - 1.6V > not stable !
i sure hope you don't really mean vtt there.
cos vtt that high is guaranteed to kill your chip and fast.
i've only gone up to 1.52 for quick math benching at 8x540.
What Ram could you guys recommend me to use on this board?
This good ram for it:
G.Skill 4GB (2x2048MB) DDR2 PC2 8800 CL5 4 GB, PC8800, 1111 MHz
Or do you have other suggestions? (i want 4GB)
Hehe
My QX9650 like the UD3P too :)

sweet! post the ET6 for that clock?
do you need voltages anywhere near my 1.7pll, 1.5vtt, 1.47vcore, and 1.8vnb?
Yea, love to see the setting s for that run.
I have tried all these different settings and suggestions but still no go past 425, that is weak. It looks like I got a bunk board. I have an RMA number already but I cannot ship out until I get paid in like a week. I am hoping dor a primo cream of the crop board next time, well aren't we all.
Hey did any quad user succesfully using S3 mode with this board at 400 fsb and above ?
I mean no constant reboot in in infinite loop with a blank screen when wake the system up.
More isnt possible :

lol nice
i dont get the board
i did some testi last night again and no matter what i try i cant get any decent FSB to stick
leaving on auto voltages allows me to boot at 620 even but as soon as it gets a whiff of the HDD it bombs out or corrupts my bootmngr
i have tried practically all combinations of skews i could think of and nothing is working...that is the only other thing that i can thing of not helping
i've played with reference VTT as well but no go
just not having luck
swapped boards to EP45 EXTREME and on first go

could it be the bios i am on........i'm on the F4Pi bios (bios is called F4-4 bios as well..)
has anyone else noticed that VTT Reference volts dont seem to change in Easy Tune6
Could that be the issue
Test the F5
Hey guys
Got myself a ud3r yesterday, but only managed a 600mhz 1m. Any tips wrt the clock skews? 550 isn't even 32m stable :(
Also, F4 bios was AWFUL so I switched back to F3.
Thanks
Mike

if anyone needs settings you find lots of mine at the ud3p thread in the intel hardware section.
It's a crazy board for the memory frequency .
I can't post actually because there's a contest.
For the quad it's the best if you've got good memory .
First play with this board

what is the best memory do you recommend for using the Q9550 ? I was thinking of the Dominator/ Tracers/ Ballistics [cheapest] or GSkill [which seems most compatible] or OCZ Reapers?.
get tracers dominators or ballistix, no need to pay extra
....(((these are my latest 24/7 setings for 4455mhz ran prime blend for hour,s with no errors while watching movies on you tube and downloading music on lime wire))).....

NEXT YOUR RAM SETTINGS MINE RUN 4-4-4-10...SO SET YOURS TO RUN STABLE YOU MAY NEED SOMETHING LIKE 5-5-5-12
I SET MINE TO PERFORMANCE LEVEL 9 PL8 RESULTS IN INSTANT CRASH EVEN ON 1.2400 VCORE...I USED MEMSET TO LOWER A BUNCH OF MY SUB TIMINGS MOST OF IT CAN BE DONE IN THE BIOS BUT I LIKE IT CUZ I DONT HAVE TO KEEP REBOOTING TO FIND THE TIGHTEST SETTINGS FOR MY RAM,S..
LOAD LINE LLC.........................ENABLED
CPU V-CORE...........................1.37500V...you may need more..you may need less i can bench less but 1.37500V keeps it ROCK stable
CPU TERMINATION...................1.42000V..this is as low as i can set it to be ROCK stable unless i jack the CPU PLL up to like 1.5700V or more

Try F6d here
heres something to keep this thread goinghttp://i37.tinypic.com/e5puvk.jpg
Heey Hicookie the BIOS F4PI also worked with the same configuration on an E8500?;)
Has anyone tried a Q6600 in this board? See only Wolfdale/Yorkfield shots. :( :)
Hi friends.
I have a problem with the FSB of my Mother Board
this is my setup at the moment and I can not climb over the FSB.
any suggestions? :eek:Quote:

its simple to make you fly
65nm of intel processor, try CPU termination 1.4v
also, you need CPU PLL for 65nm processor, try 1.6~1.8v
45nm, just pull higher CPU termination, 1.32v(540FSB)~1.6v(600FSB & beyond)
i see you change memory ratio to match your memory, thats smart way:)
It took me awhile to get things set up, because at first, I experienced random reboots and instability.
I went back, disconnected all power/data cables and all cards, and removed/reseated the RAM. I also clipped the ends of two of my PSU's SATA connectors and replaced them with right-angle ones, and went with right-angle SATA data cables to remove kinks.
The system is now up and very stable, with a RAID 1 mirror for my boot drive, and a third 1TB drive for media storage, running the F5 BIOS. Since I had a Tuniq Tower, I also had to dremel the K8 "nipples" off the sides of the mounting clip so that it would fit well. I have only just reloaded the OS, and will be restoring data in the next 48 hours. I'm running at stock settings for now until I have everything set up just the way I want it; at that point, I'll consider doing a minor overclock to go up to 1333 FSB. Stock performance of the board is quite good, though.
Sounds good. I still do not know whether to switch over. Probably I'll buy a new psu 1st, as during 3dmark06/Vantage cpu tests my rig just switches off. :) :(
i cant get 4.0 stable in orthos >_>
after 2 minutes error :(

Note - this memory has problems running 1:1 ratio, it only likes the upclock dividers. Confirmed on biostar and gigabyte boards.

Dymblos,i think maybe your mch ref voltage is too low(0.66),bring it up a few notches so it reads in ET6 as 0.70 to 0.76.start with 0.70 then try 0.74 and so on,till it works.also set your vMCH(NB voltage) to 1.30.good luck
