To beat Team2ch on a daily basis we "just" need about 20 more top HD 7970 boards. Thats really too much. I will add too more beasts tomorrow but that is just 10%. But we should pass the daily 70 million points mark :)

Great news Retro77. How did you manage to do it...?

Just popped it into an i7 system, updated the BOINC version to 7.0.38 and installed the 12.11 beta 8 CCC, added the app_info, worked it up to 4, then 8. I did come home today to it frozen and last event viewer entry was at noon, right when I home and it was running fine then :shakes:

Powered it off and back on, and it seems to be running. I don't trust this card and I might see if Asus will RMA it for me. It was an open box return to Fry's and all they do is see if it'll POST...

Open boxes cost a bit less but are a bit more of a problem risk...

I have been burn once or twice and stay away from them.

well i just took my main rig apart, cleaned the case (spilled some water on my SSDs, hopefully they'll still work)

tomorrow i will clean my radiator, motherboard and waterblocks
day after that i'll start rebuilding it

after that i can start thinking about taking my phenom I down and replace it with something more... beast like
