You might want to try giving a new BIOS a shot. That can definately fix overclocking errors like you described. 1.36b seems to be a very good one, take a look at it.

As for the 6800, I can't help ya there. :(

Silly did you read the first post of this topic?
Several usefull tips there :)

Did you disable Aggresive Timings?
What serialnumber is your mobo?

And you can always try some other drivers for the vga,
maybe that'll help :)

I have PC4800 TCCD. Problem is that I can only boot my computer at 300fsb, with one memory installed, if i try 2 memorys it won´t boot.
The motherboard is instable at 280fsb with 2 momorys installed.
Have tried several different timings, voltage and so on.

Try sticking that ram in the first 2 slots closest to the cpu. They are different colors, one green one purple... It should boot. :) and be dual channel ;)

I know, have tried that, it will boot at 290x9 extremly instable. With one memory stick I´II be able to run 3dMark. Strange.
Perhaps buy Abits motherboard instead.

2 Sticks of Corsair Value Select 512MB each
My memory is running at 220, 2.5,3,3,8 T1

What the hell is 1:1 ? I dont see that option but every one talks about it :stick:

Bad with my bh6´s

I can run at 1T only around 210mhz and around 240 2T with booster 3,4-3,7v. Tried bios 1.36 and 1.37 but cant pass this, any Tips?...

1:1 means running synchronous

RAM fequency:fsb frequency

example: RAM=200Mhz (DDR400) : fsb=200Mhz
is what people call 1:1

(ASUS makes is more correct and more difficult to understand as they call it in their bios 2:1, DDR400:fsb200)

Wrong application, thats for the Neo..

What pci slots do you use that do not share an IRQ..Looks like slot 2 and 5 share an IRQ

I have an Audigy2 and an Adaptec 2906 scsi card for scanner...I was going to put them in slot 2 & 3...leave abit more circ around my agp card and make it easier to get to the CMOS jumpers

This rig is a beast! The 3500+ is an animal to say the least. The problem I have is when trying to go over 225FSB. When reaching an FSB of 225 I get strange glitches and flashes of stuff on the screen. It's really odd and happens with my 6800nu and my 5900XT. Here's what I have tried:

I have tried locking the AGP slot using 66,67,68 and 69. I know 67 is the norm and it does indeed work according to Clock Gen.
I have tried different AGP Aperture sizes in conjunction with the Freq. settings, still no luck.

My next step was to try fastwrites and sideband addressing. Neither of these helped when disabled or enabled. I also tried these in association with the AGP settings I messed with. Nothing...

I have tried all kinds of different memory timings(looser to tighter). I tried it with the 166 divider, which should run the RAM at 191FSB, and still have no luck. This RAM runs Prime stable forever @ 209FSB 1:1 2.5,3,3,7 1T...By using the 166 divider I think I can rule out RAM as a problem because it runs great @ 209...I also tried different memory timings together with some of the changes made above, still nothing.

I then tried messing with HTT multi's of 3x, 4x and 5x...That only made a difference after 209FSB because of the 1000Mhz limit on the HTT Freq.

I'm really kind of lost because it seems no one has ever heard of this before. I am no nOOb to OCing and wouldn't be posting if I thought I could figure it out, but I'm stumped with this one. If there is a configuration out there that will work, the odds of me finding it are the same as winning the lottery IMO...

Another problem I have is really bad hitching and stuttering in games with the 6800 in here. When I put the 5900XT back in, all is well with the stuttering and hitching long gone. I firmly believe there is a hardware conflict between the 68800/Neo2 that causes the jumping and skipping in games and other 3D apps.

That problem is a bit different I guess because it only applies to my 6800. The problem I have getting past 225FSB is happeneing to both cards...And that's the problem that is really bothering me.

I hope someone out there somewhere has some ideas or suggestions for me. I've tried just about everything I can think of, and even more things than I mentioned in this post. If any more info is needed, just let me know. Thanks for your time and patience.

Perhaps the problem lies in using VS RAM. I mean it does ( PC3200 ) 200 mHZ, it does 210, it does 220, but perhaps it just doesn't have what it takes to do over that. I'm not saying that is the case, but perhaps it is. If you were using TCCD, or some other RAM , I'd assume you could get higher.

From your experience, by how much the K8N Neo2 undervolt? Does it change from BIOS to BIOS? Also, I want to know which value I should put in "AGP Aparture Size", my card is 6800GT and currently it's 256MB.

mine under volts BAD!!! at 1.55v and 5.0% over vid i get a mere 1.552v?? im going to try diff bioses but i dont expect it to help much right now im using the 1.41 bios...

Neo2 do not undervolts! The max. settings u can use in Bios is 1,475 + x%!
Anything higher then 1,475V do not work, and switch back to the 1,475V!

As for ur example : 1,475 + 5% = 1,548V

Under load the Neo2 even overvolt a bit! Idle 1,600V Load 1,616V , for
example.

no man i it undervolts big time! when i set it to 1.55v 8.0% over vid i can get it up to 1.6v but thats it. even in the bios it reads 1.6v when set to the following settings. it undervolts man trust me.... ill go try what you saying but im not holding my breath.

dude dont treat me like a noob the max is NOT 1.45v so chill the :banana::banana::banana::banana: out man. my bios shows it working and it is under volting so back off...
