i'll be showing off my rig in the next few days. case is undergoing some modding though
sneak preview here:

I'd upp pics of my rig if i had a digital camera, i might snoop for an uber cheap model to show y'all i ain't spoofing about my rig!
sweet jesus Tommy. do you have some connection with someone at Thermalright or something? i envy your collection.
My 9600GT with custom hr-03 .I bended the heatpipes last night because my case was getting to crowded :D

After mounting the hr-03 temperatures dropped from 50 to 34 in idle and from 68 to 42 in full load :D
thats a pretty good idea for the HR03 but does the fan have a hole on the side of the case to pull air from? or do you run it without the side of the case on?
Here is your answer :D
Actually i thought of this mod because i am thinking of buying a 3870X2 and i want to use a dual hr-03 configuration
http://img392.imageshack.us/img392/5308/img0656dk8.jpg
well there you have it...like the looks of that.
I dont really like the idea of bending heatpipes but that actually looks good. I should buy a HR-03 GT for my 9800GTX...
Thx guys!!! I have to say that i was super careful not to break the heatpipes while bending them. When bending a heatpipe u have to be careful not to apply pressure in a single spot.I placed the heatpipes on a round surface and moved them on it while applying pressure :)
@Tommy: how did you mount that HR05 on the NB?
On the first pic here you can see the mounting quite well ;)

It still amazes me how your photos come out like renders, they are perfect.
Awsomeeee shots people
Nice shots. You said you have two cameras, were these taken with the Fujifilm 6500fd? I have the same camera and I'd like to be reassured that I can achieve a similar result before I start trying in vain.
And alexey, well done for having the nuts to bend your H3-03.
Tommy, those are awesome pictures
what model dfi board is that one? is it the ddr3 version?
i'm going to put the order in looks sexy
Jep, all pics with black background are taken with the fuji ;)
Edit: Also taken with the fuji :)

What fan is that, with the blue LED and the orange UV frame ?
Thanks, those look pretty nice:rolleyes: high performance..
Totally wrong, it's a Club3D HD3870 Passive Cooling ;)
I have been lurking around the air cooling forums for quite some time.

Nice looking cat on your avatar, Kolapso
A little sad looking though ... :(
It´s not sad, it´s cute, but more on the point, now that i have the true im thinking of a starting OC of 3.0Ghz, anything that i should think about before i begin? This would shamefully be my first overclock, but you have to start somewhere, right?
Still a work in progress
tj07 fully "air" cooled.
http://img501.imageshack.us/img501/8176/sweetva8.jpg
Before the two front 120mm intakes I had just the two 120mm stock exhausts at the top with the two 92mm fans on the back as intakes. My GPU temp before the front intakes were at 60/58 now with the two intakes my current gpu temps are around 58/50. The temps on my first gtx only improved 1-2 degrees while the 2nd a whole 8-10 degrees. I’m sure my load temps has improved, haven’t done a long gaming session to give you load temps yet!
A huge noticeable increase was my CPU temps. Before the two front intakes I had my TRUE 120 blowing air upwards ( was blowing hot air from the gpus), after rotating my TRUE to blow air towards the back I went from 39-42 degrees idle to a steady 32 on all 4 cores.
Alrite peeps
Below is a pic of my case and coolin etc
Inside Comp Antec 900 = http://www.liquid-network.net/reapa/comp/modded.JPG
GFX Card = http://www.liquid-network.net/reapa/comp/radeon3870.JPG
and im going to be making a fan speed controller for a fan i took off a Rover Engine that was getting scrapped.
Fan = http://www.liquid-network.net/reapa/comp/fan.JPG
reason i need the fan controller is when i have it powered up without one it runs at full rpm and it is very very loud nice jet in me room tbh.
Also got to do some wire management which i may do soon.
Cheers
Chris.

***ATTENTION asus p5k-se users***
besides having MAD vdrop on cpu and NO northbridge voltage controls(1.45nb stock)the board screams.this board will max out your cpu if u cool it right.just crank cpu volts to compensate for v-droop(watch your cpu temps tho!).it simply just boots any fsb up if you u have a good clocker and cpu cooling can handle it.its simply a AMAZING budget 3 phase power dual core 45nm\65nm core2 overclocking board.i could NEVER see overclocking a quad on this mobo tho,so forget that.its also the best sleeper p35 memory overclocking board in my opinion.my cellshock (d9ghk)1000 ram runs at 2.15 bios vdimm at ddr900 4-4-4-12 NO problem at all.the p35,s to me are simply revamped p965 chipsets with shrunken dies and supior memory tuning.
http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j1...untitled-3.jpg
besides not having a northbridge voltage control the bios let u do what u need.i read from many ppl with voltmeters the nb is set at 1.43-145 factory.i think thats plenty to work with.i have a twinkling copper cooler on my northbridge.in the shot below i actually have 2.15 in vdimm set now stable for ddr 900 4-4-4-12 no problem.

primes stable ddr900 4-4-4-12 2.15vdimm,nb stock at 1.45,e6600 b2 @ 3.6(450x8)1.55 bios = 1.45 loaded, yes mad vdroop but it works like i said by setting cpu vcore higher.the shot below showing ddr842,but i now have ddr900 rock solid.i will post ss of primed again when i have time.the board will also run ddr800 4-3-4-10 1t no problem at all if your memory is good.

Dropped temps 25c from previous cooler (Gigabyte Mini-Typhoon look-alike thing)
A couple pics of my rig, unfortunately I cant afford a good case right now :( All my savings are on the mobo now lol

This rig is super old and abandoned long time ago. Specs are in my sig. It's the rig with Opteron. Just wanted to share these, dunno why :)
You can see pics of my new computer at Water Cooled Case Gallery! thread. Don't bother looking it up tough, WC setup in it sucks hella much. Going to rebuild it to different case (thinking of lian-li v2000b, not sure though). Even thinking 2x 360 RAD, as it seems so ridiculous :p: . But ofcourse this is wrong place to discuss WC and I need to show some pictures of air cooled hardware now.

natech, my friend... your rig might suck, but the pics are fantastic! :D
*note to self: buy a decent camera*
natech, what´s the name of that rear fan?
If you used photoshop, make 2 layers of your case. Set the lower layer to like 30% opacity and with the upper layer, go around parts of it with the lasso tool with a 15px feather to make it blend better. Max blur/Gaussian blur/smudge is overkill.
Oh yeah, nice mobo. =D
My camera skills aren't that great but at least this is a start :D
Finally I bought some proper gear

Hey!
I Upgraded my Sound Card, Xplosion to a Xonar D2, beside the obvious "Sexy" look of the Card itself, this Sound card, is by far, the best i have owned, The Bass is really deep, and AT LAST, the FlexBass Option is working with DTS Interactive, Beautiful and Cristal Sound, on 2CH PCM, and Extremely good sound on movies and games 7.1, THE BEST Ive Ever listened.-
Thanks! ASUS

BTW, whats that cooler on the back of you video card?
Also, don't those HD's get hot in that??? And, did you custom make that? It looks really nice.
IF I remember correctly, the cooler on the backside of the VGA card is the Thermalright HR-11, and the HDD box is Alphacool ichbinleise® Box HDD 20
