I did that with my CCBBE 0610, I think it scales really well with voltage. So far 2.8 at stock, 2.9 at 1.376v (1.425v in ultra-d, 11/14) and haven't tried 3Ghz, but it looks good for 1.45-1.475v if I keep my temps down. All prime stable too. Currently testing the 2.9 one, been 30 mins.Quote:

You run your opty at only 2800 for 24/7 ? I run my at 2900 @ 1.4v and works perfectly. Would need more than 1.4v to hit 3ghz, but i would have to make a vcore mod.
thats a killer deal man, you should be happy
Do you know if he´s still selling the same stepping? if so, I´d buy 1 right now.Quote:

Yup, that´s what I thought, I´ll ask the seller anyway. Thanks for reply ;)
^^ That seller never replied to any of my questions regarding his steppings.
Just testing out my first of my two 0608 MPMW's :)
http://img72.imageshack.us/img72/916...efaultv.th.jpg
It failed at 2817 @ stock after 3 hours. This thing is real hot compared to my  CCBBE. I think I need to upgrade my swirftech water kit.
Devious How did you get two of them?
@ Devious: Same question here, and also If you´re planning to get rid of one of those 0608 MPMW's you know where to send PM ;) let me know if you´re planning to sell it.
Devious your temps look above average (ie better than average, not too high)
stock volts on water isn't it?Quote:

Soooo lucky! :)
I got them both off ebay in the last couple of weeks. One of them was on buy it now for a few days and no one touched it, I think the buyer put people off saying it needed 1.42v to get to 2.8, and he showed a picture with it at 55Deg, I gambled on him having poor cooling and I think I was right :)
Managed to get a suicide at 3160mhz :woot:
http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=92367
Voltage: 1.475x110% = 1.6225v
MemDiv: 140 = 243mhz 2-2-2-5 1T 3.4v
I agree, these chips need a good cooling , they get very hot .
And yes , I ve seen a couple of them on eBay as well.
And I ve seen them available for , I think , 2-3 hours at Flickerdown
:D :D - and then -"stay tuned " - a very nice shop :D
need to run 2 pi'sQuote:

nice clocks in this thread, people are likin the 0610s and 0608s. Weird how we haven't seen anything new for a WHILE, 0608 are like a month old, where's the new stuff! I saw FX60 posted with 0620! I'll bet they keep going with teh bugged memory controllers, which means 3 Ghz for us.
Also if you've got 3 Ghz dual core... put it to use! Run rosetta :D

Team Xtremesystems needs every helping hand ;)
Also a good burn in tool, i run it 24/7 while burning in processors, won't crash or fail like prime. Also the loaded temps help the paste set.
/shameless promotion
here are the first results from my CCBWE 0609FPAW:

Will try to lower volts, heat is killing me.
Question: will this chip run 3Ghz 24/7 under Mach II GT? Is it coldbugged?
i'm also pretty surprised we haven't seen any new steppings since the 0610. we are still seeing 0551's coming out of some shops
i think i got one without a cold bug :D
ccbwe 0602 bpmw
