Apogee GTZ

It seems this water block needs to be mounted in specific way (this is from the mounting instructions):
'The waterblock North-South axis should always be perpendicular to the socket locking lever.'

But if you have the motherboard in a BTX type case, 'up-side-down'?
Do you need to mount the water block 'up-side-down' as well?

risk it and buy one =p

Rule of thumb is to have the output port topside to allow air bubbles to escape.

I assume that you wouldn't flip the block (so the GTZ is still right side up).

The waterblock would not see the difference (think of it as just changing the layout of your board and the processor is at the bottom)

i bought it ..i hope its as good as swiftechs benches for the q6600

I just bought one of these from performance-pcs. I should be getting it on or around Monday. With all that we know so far I would say worst case scenario we get a block that performs within 1-2 degrees of the EK and is less restrictive.

Hmm if this baby is also optimised for the new LGA1366 Nehalem cpus,that will be great.

Ordered mine from petras, works out the same for me since I have to pay tax thru performance pcs

I believe they are out end of next week. They replaced the original MW60 and this is
rev. 2 They are selling soon, as old stock rev. 1 is gone or almost.

Why would they need to validate anything Andy? You did 5 mounts. Used YOUR bed, and YOUR system.

How could they validate anything without standing over your sholder.

Thats like me asking martin to validate my EK Supreme tests when he hasnt even seen my injectors.
