Need more Voltage?! Are u kidding? I tried 1.80 too! :nono:
ok guys, so i upgraded to TCCD memory as you know and also finished replacing my psu fan AND also tried out that 81mhz on agp thing and its pretty cool, got a bit faster. question: does this affect the sata? is it locked still if i use that 81mhz agp setting?
ok so about that pic: i upgraded from the 1.8nfm bios to the 1.b sideeffect tccd mod. now i have all these options for ram and i want to need to tune my ram better. what should i do with those above the red line (besides the 2.5-3-3 that ive already set?) im running at 250 1:1 now and.... i'll take pics later. in the meantime i set them to auto like in this pic, but they came at 2t and i wasnt sure what to do with em.Quote:

hello
Just solved my crashes in games..Now i got back to OC both the cpu and the vga. With the system in my signature i got it stable now at 260x9 and htt 3x but with 8.0% over the default cpu vcore..I run some bechmarks (3dmark) and played some games like nfsu2 and runned perfectly...I will try today to get more but this is already a huge bonus got with a DDR333 bank..the timings now are 2.5,3,3,7.I am very happy with this system..I begin to reach higher frequencies with pretty cheap memory banks..Soon i will change the DDR333 bank and i hope some dual channel will begin the journey..
Thx.Quote:

The cooling just don't laugh but I think nice:
Stock cooling. I however applied some kinda strange paste which keeps it very cool.
@ Default: 2000MHz, 1.4v, Idle = 19C, Heavy load 100% = 34C!
And btw in a review they overclocked a 3000 Venice to 2.8 with default voltages and stock cooling.
So what shoud I do?
Thx in advance.
btw I have a 6800NU should I set that AGPFreq. @ 81 too?
Does that really make a diffrence?
I hate 3DMark 2005 coz the max score I could achive was 4700!
Others more than 5000!
Has anyone else here had problems with A64 tweaker applying settings on start up to this board. Mine applies settings but they are not the ones I set!! . I have tried several versions of A64 Tweaker. Which bios if any solves this problem?
A64 tweaker 0.31 is the only official version the other 2 versions are beta Codered states that at his site.
Only 0.31 works on startup.
So?!?!?! Any suggestions for me then?!
It really depends Mehran It helps under certain circumstances. The only way your going to know if it helps you or not is by testing yourself. Use ATItools artifact scanner to scan for artifacts at 66 mhz agp freq then keep upping the core clock until u get artifacts.
then use Nforce 3 tweaker to change fsb freq to 81 mhz and run ATI tool again. If the artifacts have gone then it has helped you.
hello sideeffect
are you running 2x1GB of Ballistix?
hello Mehran
take a look at this thread for o/c on the venice
man i think the 81 mhz on the agp, tho givin me good bench scores... corrupted my hdd's i think. i spent all last night and this mornin cleanin up the mess and had to boot to windows recovery console to run a chkdsk. :( back to 66 for meeee
Thats really surpising since raising the AGP bus to 81MHz is only a 7.5MHz increase on the PCI/IDE bus. Normally not anywhere close to currupting HDD's.Quote:

I have a "small" problem with my new config (Venice 3000+ E6 0535). It goes like that:
1. CPU - 2700@~1,6V RAM divider 133 (as I can remember) - so memory ~192MHz - stable*
So, I made Vdimm mod (3.3V directly from PSU line - it's BH-5). I'm not sure how much it is exactly, tomorrow I'm taking an multimeter from my company and measure the real voltage. In BIOS it says 3.27V. I made following tests (all cl2 2 2 5 1t):
2. CPU 4x250, Ram divider 200 (250MHz cl2 2 2 5) memtest86 passed, winxp starts & is stable*
So, it's working. Being happy I try:
3. 9x280 (2520 not too stressful), RAM 166 (~229MHz cl2 2 2 5) and NOTHING. Even Windows does't want to boot, it crashes just while booting or at the beginning. Ram divider 150 & also nothing.
So, maybe dividers make this mess:
4. 9x250 (9x245) RAM 200 (250/245MHz cl2 2 2 5) and nothing again. With 250MHz only clear cmos jumper helps. With 240 it seems a bit better, Windows starts but is no stable at all.
5. Now 9x270 RAM 166 (~220MHz cl2 2 2 5) and nothing again. Superpi 32M - BSOD after a while.
Now the main question: what is going on? (WTF? ;)) RAM seems to work fine with 250MHz cl2225 but only with CPU working with low multiplier. With standard 9x multiplier they cannot do even 220MHz. Is it caused by:
1. PSU not giving enough V on 3.3V line with more stress? (I'm going to measure it tomorrow, in BIS it stays 3.26 - 3-28V). Is it possible to increase 3.3V line in this Enermax? Maybe it will help to use OCZ DDR booster instead of Vdimm mod.
2. Memory controller in my Venice is a piece of crap/:banana::banana::banana::banana: and with higher clock its performance degrades and it cannot work with so fast memory.
3. This RAM is a piece of crap - however I don't think so. The mainboard is bad or doesn't cooperate with this ram well - however people make on this board and RAM ~250MHz.
* Stable - at the moment Superpi 16M/32M is enough for me
ps. Bioses: 1.B from Sideeffect, 1.36mod (1T), 1.8mod
ps2. HTTx3, voltage on CPU is enough (it doesn't seem to be a case here), tried RAM in both channels.
Sometimes Athlon64's don't like to run high HTTs on certain dividers. over 280, i can't even POST with a 133 mem divider, but 100 and 166 work (can't do 200 as my mem won't do 280, lol). Some cpus allow a higher CPU clock when the ram clock is low, and a higher ram clock when the CPU clock is low.
jenifer Lopez SUCKS.....I prefer Laetitia Casta thousands of times...Anyway i don't think that is J LO ... That girl in the pic is more prety and the body looks more ...interstingQuote:

If you open up nforce 3 clockgen and raise the agp bus you will see the pci bus stays locked at 33.3 mhz.
The nforce 3 has independant busses unlike the Via chipsets that use dividers.

......ah ya also either my CPU or my mobo died last night when i was playing with the ramm and settings in windows at 290 (all voltages whitin normal range) i just changed Trcd to 4 got a BSOD and no more boot....i took off everything and cleared the bios without the battery and psu unpluged overnight and nothing......the four leds on the bracket are showing all red (well one looks like orangy not red)
im starting to wonder am i that unlucky to have 2 crappy cpus (one was really really e6 crapy) or a bad mobo or im i just dumb since i cant get either 3 sets of 2x512 mb BH5, 2x256 OCZ CH5 (that do 250ish at 3.4) and a set of G.Skill TCCD to work at decent speeds.........ah ya mobo was volt modded for the BH5 but the mod taken of for the TCCD
i cannot run my BH-5 either (see may previous post). Tried yesteday 1:1 cl2225 with 240x9 - crash when posting, 230x9 - windows restarts before it boots, 220 - windows boots but crasches instantly after logon, 210 - windows freezes. 200x9 seems OK.
Mobo is Vdimm modded. So bad CPU? So bad memory? Today I check Vdimm voltage with a good multimeter,
i also had the vdimm mod and i got 2 sets of Ocz gold, and i couldnt get them 100% stable @ 240 2-2-2-5 at 3.4v prime would fail after couple hours, i also got a 2x512mb set of old KHX bh5 that can do 240@3.2v 2T on a nf2 an7 and barton, and could do 230@3.2 1T on a epox with newcastle, but on this i cant get them stable at 230 even with 3.5v.....thats with 2 venuce cpus (both crappy though) so i don't know if its the cpus or mobo........oh ya droping the multi didnt help either
I have my Venice 3000+ 2*290 stable in Prime95, SuperPI and 3DMark2001, only freezes in 3Dmark03 Ragtroll test looping (I think it's vertex shader test).
I'm using Leadtek 6600GT on stock frequencies. In BIOS NV speed disabled, Fastwrite also.
What it could be?
try LDT = 3x and vAGP = 1.6 or 1.65
With me 4x250 1:1 seems ok, but just 6x250 crashes...Quote:

I think so, because the mobo & ocz gold rather cannot be so crappy ;) Hopefully I will get my hands on Opteron 144 in some time and we will see then. For now I'm going to stay with lower clock on mem, play with some other bioses & eventually measure this 3.3V voltage.Quote:

alrighty. got the TCCD last week to replace my bh-5 since i gave up on the combination of the bh-5 + ddr booster + neo2 + silence. fine
messed around with the tccd. lots to learn here. aint so simple to clock like the bh-5 was (up voltage and go go go).
eventually got quick memtest to pass a few times when i tried the wacky thought of 2.5-3-3-10 @ 250 with 2.6v. ran memtest over night to confirm, was workin somewhat. SUPER-PI fails immediately and locks up prompting a error report send off. thats pretty important to what happens over the weekend.
what happens next? i think, oh hmm, lemme holla at SE's tccd modded bios. previously, any bios after the 1,8mod3 nfm version didnt work that great.. but who knows, maybe it will now.
upgrade to 1.b tccd SE bios. set memtest again. looking great.
up agp to 81mhz, check my 6800 clocks... change mem by 25 mhz. get higher test scores. totally awesome. use machine as normal. get random windows explorer crashes, then when the error report thing pops up, it crashes prompting me to send error report about Drdaemon or whatever the "Dr" progrma is that does bugsolving.
decide at work on friday that windwos media center edition is awesome, i see lots of OEMs shipping it on their gaming systems... i can upgrade one of my dual boots to it. i choose to upgrade my clock testing boot. cd is bad, upgrade if fuxored.
eventually do a clean install and all that on this boot, with a good cd. other boot still messed up, chkdsk reports mad errors. boot to dos mode and chkdsk /f that mofo. in that REGULAR boot, i open the super pi folder and it runs.
but in the media center boot it doesnt want to run.
at some point during all of this, i again mess around with a few ram settings, get back to 1.8nfm bios since its the only one that works it seems on my winnie and crashes stop happening.
i eventually settle it at 2.5-4-4-10 @ 250htt with 2.6v. agp is back to 66. chkdsk and diskeeper defrags have been run on both boots.
++++++
so thats as best in chronological order i could remember. im thinkin either the mem wasnt stable, makin super pi crash (the only program to do so consistently.... other random thigns crashed whenever they wanted)..... or the hdds got corrupted becuz of bad memery or bad agp 81mhz..... and i know for sure that, yet again, the 1.8mod3 nfm bios was the only one that worked well for me.
what yall think? wanna clear up any misconceptions i got goin on here? my computer wasnt fully workin for much of this weekend and that sucks, plus i havent had this kinda crash problems since before i got this system. i been used to the stability and NOT using my regualr boot until i get ma stability. no hdd probs at all. i dunno, im just not pleased with system wide probs cuz usually i might work on one part if that. and the only new thing was the ram, which made me try new bioses (never gave a prob before either so back to the ram?) and then the agp 81
el rolio..you missed your sex life ....To answer your question we must know about this also..

Is the graphics card at stock speeds? Try setting vagp volts of 1.65 volts. Im thinking possibly that the more you overclock the cpu the less power the video card has and so is artifacting maybe ...
Bit of a lame guess but you should test things like highest cpu/HTT overclock at a low gpu clock without artifacts. then highest gpu overclock without artifacts at a lower cpu/ htt level.
On my motherboard im certain the locks are taking place. I dont know though if all boards have working pci locks or not.
Hmm, well i lowered the gpu clocks to way below stock and i get the same problem when i enable the cpu/ram OC. That voltage scenario you mentioned sounds convincing though, ill try that now ;) .
el rolio 250 2.5-4-4- isnt very good for tccd. Im thinking maybe your winchester has a bad memory controller and thats what was causing the instability and the corrupt disk drives.
Try and to tighten the timings up a bit to 2.5-3-3 if you can. Some tccd likes low voltage like 2.65 - 2.7 and wont work at high voltage some tccd likes 2.85 - 2.9 volts and is not so good at low voltage.
Try all voltage settings and use memtest in dos to work out your max mem speed.
Right, raised the agp volts to 1.65 and still the same problem, this is real strange because as soon as i lower the clocks to the cpu everything runs fine again.
One thing that i am 110% sure of... it's definately not a colling issue. ;)
Any ideas?
Just discovered that the system is fine up to 260 fsb, anything over causes these artifacts.
is this 260 HTT with 260 mhz ram speed or 260 HTT with the ram on a divider?
well back on page 120 this is what i said:

anyhoo all i know for sure is, 2.65, 2.7, etc all the way up to baord max of 2.85 is an error producer at 250 htt. i wont say more. i guess like i said ima tighten to 2.5-3-3-10 tonight and see how it goes. :S

Well its not that the memory controller is faulty. They are only rated at 200 HTT anything above that is just a bonus for us. When the memory controller reaches its limits ussually the cpu speed will die off. So you have to run at a slower cpu speed to keep a higher HTT.

Ok i need some diagnosis here.. according to clockgen the AGP/PCI is locked.. but whenever i get up above 260 fsb 1:1 i still seem to get artifacts in 3D apps ONLY. Some objects seem to flicker and i get all sorts of artifacts. im gonna try now with a divider to see if it makes any difference ?? I'm highly surprised that noone else has had this problem before as far as i know. :/
guys..I'm pulling out my hair here..I just replaced my No-name memory with a Kingmax DDR400 512mb ram and bought another one to put them in dual channel..The No-name bank have over 13000 errors in Goldmemory and nothing found in Memtest. The new kingmax brought after replacing have errors in Memtest no 8 (modulo 20, zerp/ones) and of course in goldmemory 1000+.I bought them from a non-oficial (the guy don't pay taxes to the govournament and state so basically they are 20% cheaper than the market price) and now i have all my luck..The other bank brought from a shop from my city (new in case) is perfect..I think they take the banks that came back to the service because they are broken and he sell them like this..Not many ppl (at least in my country) test the memory..This are the first times when i use goldmemory/memtest.All this tests was done without oc..just with default speeds.I recommend using Goldmemory is more extensive and will report you even compatibility..If goldmemory tests will pass i am 200% sure that memtests will pass also..My :banana::banana::banana:ing experience...and my hair is all over the keyboard and monitor now ...I'm :banana::banana::banana:ing sick about my country..
anyway i got 5240mb/s in Sisoft Memory benchmark now but only 3 fps in q3..I know is normal but is just me.. :(
Holy crap, looks like you have lots of trouble shooting to do, good luck. :/
I managed to find the cause of my problem.. i only got the artifacts when using the 10x multi.. someone should look into this as i have a feeling that it could be a BIOS issue.. anyway, i'm currently running along @ 9 x 290 1:1 (2600) with no problems.. im gonna try and go higher hehe.
[edit] thanks for the help along the way sideeffect ;)
wow ok, so im runnin tests now at 2.55v on the memory, 250mhz with 2.5-3-3-10.... will see how it gets when i get home.
this tccd is a crzy topsy turvy world!!!!!1
Ridczak, were you able to boot @ 5x250? I ask because with a 4x multi, the memory isn't running 1:1 if set to it, it's running on a 5x multi instead of the 4x multi the HTT is running at, so the memory is @ 200mhz. This is just something that happens. so check to see if you can run 5x250, and that will tell you if the memory is stable at the speed.
What would be the best bios for OCing my FX53? I have Corsair XMS TCCD and a 6200.
Peach... very equilibrate system :P fx53 with 6200 ...nice one.
Could someone answers the following question : What is the best bios for both X2 support and good overclocking ?

That or you didn't lower your HT multi from 5x.
I had my TCCD at 2.5-3-3-6 and my HT Multi at 2x, i'm gonna experiment some more because I just flashed to sideeffects 1.b bios
EDIT: My goal is to hit 2.7ghz, I dropped my HT Multi to 2x and set my RAM to 2.5-3-3-6 2.80v. Loaded up clockgen and dropped multiplier to x9 and set VID to 1.550v. I managed to hit 280HTT 1:1! But this only yields 2520mhz. I set my FID to x10 and I could barely break stock! :slap: What am I doing wrong?!?
HTT Multi of 3 is better than 2 imo. Certain cpu multis wont work very well. I think 10 x multi isnt very good in 1.B. Use Clockgen and set a 9.5 multi see what happens.
I have a minor problem. I changed my winchester +3500
to x2 +3800 cpu. I am using bios 1.b mod and its working ok.
But clockgen is not working anymore. I can only change fsb/htt frequency.
The cpu vid and multiplier control is greyed out. What is the problem?
Thanx, I did't know that. Memtest & cpu-z always showed 250MHz on RAM even with 4x multi. 6x didn't work as I remember, going to try 5x today.Quote:

I'm now running my Venice DH-E3 3000+ at 250 FSB so far so good :)
Welcome to the thread that refuses to die TenzoR
MSI K8N Neo2 will rule at least 2 years for me :P...ATI R5xx AGP i'm coming :PP
aiit folks. since my machine will refuse to give me stability (quickly first tested by tryin to do a super pi run) at 250 x 2.5-3-3-10 with any voltage (2.6v was the the top candidate) i decided to see what i could do since im forced to be running 2.5-4-4
so why not bump up? did a few small bumps not changin any voltages or any setting for that matter besides the htt (and the htt multi to 3x of course).
so its at home priming on 260x10 [1.45 + 8.3%] / 2.5-4-4-10 [2.6v]. i started the prime after makin sure superpi would run and memtest would pass test 5 and 7 a couple times each. so :banana::banana::banana:, since everything is the same as it was at 250, i might as well get some more speed outa my "lax" timings eh? lets see how it goes.
though i still would love to know why i cant 2.5-3-3 at 250 tho. that sucks... and why it would fail memtest (1 or 2 errors) on anything above 2.6v with te number of errors increasing as the voltage rose.
peach,
the only issue with that is the immense heat coming off the video card isn't going to help you cool your cpu at all.... its gunna keep those heat pipes heated up and not allow them to cool properly.
im loving my Ultra-D fellas.. PCI-E flavor not AGP.
ram and cpu really act differently on that board compared to the NEO2.
so sideeffect you were wrong im not here screaming about how crappy it is lol.
im just screaming about the total crap E6 venice i got after my E3 died.
im basically working on another chip
the major problem i have is using my promise ata-100 card with these mobo but then i've notice that's has been a major problem for a while, so I'm just going to get some nice SATA drives instead :) way to make me upgrade MSI
other than that the only nit pick I have with this board is the crappy location of the cmos jumper location which I'm going to take someone's sugegstion and make a switch for it
I hope i can hit 300fsb without much problem but i'm fairly happy with 250FSB
same thing here... I couldnt get the makers of Clockgen to email me back either, so i now use a program called gcpuid. Google it and try it out. Works good here, has FID/VID options etc.Quote:

When overclocking you lower the memory clock to 333mhz or you leave 400mhz..Because here my Kingmax is only Pc3200.Only if i lower the clock to 333mhz i get 260mhz fsb..In fact the memory is working at 218mhz or something like this..Anyway they are much cheaper than Corsairs..
Hellll!
the problem is drivibg me mad! What kinda mobo is this?! First of all I can't go more than 2600 (260x10) even 261!
I get a BSOD.
Second of all I can't get my USB joypad working on this mobo!
What should I do? Guys here say that my CPU can go 2.6 or 2.8 on air!
I think I have a serious problem with this.
PLZ help me.
thx in advance.
And I know that there is no problem with my memories.
I think I'm making a mistake in somewhere. Coz everyone like this mobo.
Does the compatibility issue still exist in the newer bios'es saying not to run memory in slots 3 & 4?? If they don't exist anymore, I will flip the xp120 around so that the pipes are facing upwards.Quote:

Its all about luck at the end of the day.
how can i get a 1.9v on vcore?
a question, is the 1.b better bios than 1.a4b for UTT oc?
With the 1.36b BIOS (it has a working 18% over volt) and CoreCenter.Quote:

ya but 1.36b is pretty old :S..Anybody thinking to add the missing options in 1.b firmware (like the Vcore voltage 18%)
i can boot at 2420mhz from 1810mhz and the windows loads fine but the games are pretty unstable..What can i do?
They have been trying to add the 18% I believe but with no success yet.Quote:

Need to know voltages and timings and what not.
My first guess though is, lower ur HT multi? put ur ram on a divider?
And have you tried prime at all? Is windows stable and just games crash? Or is everything unstable?
D3kMatrix
man could you post a screen of your a64tweaker settings 0.6 for that ram, im having really hard time getting them stable
Bios 1.B oficial,NV/ati oc disabled, C'n'Q disabled, fw enabled (i read that are problems with 9600 chipsets with it disabled),the rest disabled...
DDR setted at 166 instead 200..When it boot up it shows DDR 333 Dual Channel and another thing the slots for dual channel are 3 and 4..I tried 1 and 2 in the past and it seems there is no difference bettween them..Anyway in the MSI Memory compatibility list they give them the ok in the 3 and 4 slots..I don't know why but now i have them in 3 and 4..
Vcore: +10%
fsb: 260
Htt: 3x (with 4x is not working at 260mhz)
Memory voltage: default
vga: 1.60v (with 1.5v the games freeze with 260mhz setted fsb)
Multiplier: 9x
timings: 2.5,3,3,7 2T (with 1t i am not sure is stable and the performance increase is very very low)..
Temperature is not a problem because my cooler is pretty good (Arctic Cooling 64 ultra TCL)..In idle 34 degree celsius and in full load 42 degrees..This is without the second big on the back of the case that bring out the air from inside..That is pretty noisy but very eficient..With that i get in idle about 27 degrees and in full load about 36 degree..
Thanks..
I don't think it’s possible to run a Neo2 with G.Skill TCCD and a Venice at the same time in spec 1:1 for most people.Quote:

I have tried almost every single BIOS and every setting/voltage possible.
Currently running 1.B Standard by SE
I have been running them on the 166MHz divider 280x10 for now. But just last night I started testing the 183MHz divider a little more and so far so good.
These are my settings, the Trc and Trfc are a little loser then normal just to test the 183MHz divider. I normally run them at 11/14.
(Also primed for 10 Hours over night at the same settings, but didn’t take a screen shot before I went to work)

At first I couldn't get the 183MHz divider to run stable so I tried to raise my HTT and lower my CPU mutli while running the 166MHz divider to give the ram CPU and ram clock as the 183MHz divider. It ran 100% stable but would not cold post at the 312HTT. So that was out of the question so I went back to trying to get the 183MHz divider stable.
It seems on the 166MHz and 1:1 my ram runs better at 2.65v. But when running the 183MHz divider it needs 2.85v.
Heres a shot of running 312x9 w/ 166MHz divider. (260MHz ram clock) -- Stable but no Cold Post =(

Dual Channel will work in both slots 1&2 and 3&4.Quote:

Most of your settings look ok, actually a lot loser then they should have to be to run the speeds you are.
And instead of running you vcore 1.40v with 10% overvolt try 1.45v and 8.3% overvolt. It will give you the same vcore in the end but some people report more stability while using the normal vcore setting to boost the vcore instead of the overvolt settings.
The only other thing I could see causing a problem is you RAM voltage. Disable auto and test all vcores from 2.65 to 2.85 in memtest to see which is most stable. Start in memtest with a setting you know is unstable so you can see if the voltage makes any difference. Example, 270x9.
Or even try running the 133MHz divider to totally take your ram out of the question. I'm not sure exactly what ram you have so I don't know what it could be capable of.
Also when you say games are unstable, when they crash, do you just get booted back to windows? Random reboot? Artifacts? BSOD? Any Errors?
Your CPU could also just be at its limit, when did you buy the chip? Do you know the stepping? The newer Venice's don't seem to be overclocking that great anymore.
Cd1986 is also stuck at around 270 ish with his TCCD. I think people are very lucky if they get a board that goes over 260 1:1 with any ram.
At the moment im trying to get my board more stable. I can run memtest all day with 255 mhz ram speed at 2.5-2-3-8 but it crashes in windows. Im pretty certain Its not the ram causing crashes. Seems my cpu hits a point at around 2770mhz where it wont go any higher 1:1 and i have to drop the ram frequency to get any more cpu clocks.
Im not sure if its motherboard related or memory controller/cpu related. The CPU will do 3ghz with 228 mhz memory speed on vapochill game stable but not prime stable. I have decided to not use the vapochill though as it seems kind of not worth the hassle for such a small increase. Getting some better air cooling and will try my best to hit 2.8 ghz 255 x 11. I'll be happy with that.
Still love my motherboard though. :slap:
First up, one thing i noticed about ram slots that it also depends on the ram not just the mobo. I got 2x512 G.Skill 4400LE (TCCD) best in slots 1 and 2, 2x512 Kingston KHX3200 (OLD BH-5) also in slots 1 n 2, but i got 2 sets of 2x512 OCZ Gold (New BH-5) that are better in slots 3 and 4, so its just trail and error, noone can say what slots work better on other ppls setups.
About my G.Skill............ya i had hard time playing with them till my mobo and/or CPU died......no way that they do win stable at stock 275 2.5-3-3-6 (or 7) or 2.5-4-4-7 but memtest passes even at 285 at stock timmings. Most stable win seems somwhere in 260 ish. Same sticks had problems running on the DFI nf4 at 2.5-3-3-6 or 2.5-4-4-7 in the 260mhz to 280mhz range, but with same settings work 24/7 gaming stable at 300mhz ??? fun :)
Well I've seen that they could at least achieve 2700. I can't.Quote:

@sideeffect
is there anyway you can mod the bios with different data and drive strenghts like they are on the DFIs.....i know there is drive strength in the bios but only weak/normal can it be modded to have different levels
