no. heatpipes and vapor chambers are just different shapes doing the same thing. the limit on cooling in a two slot video card is the volume available, not any difference between heatpipes and vapor chamber.Quote:

Yes, that's what Charlie was suggesting. Apparently Skymtl has reason to believe that to be incorrect. Note though that Charlie said no cards this year and that it's a paper launch - implying no cards next week either. Not sure which one is being refuted.
The guys at Alienbabeltech got one and seem to be happy with it. Maybe they gave it to folks who they think would look favorably upon a 15% perf bump. Or maybe there are other reasons :)Quote:

Distributor dudes in singapore seem to have made contact with some cards at least... but I suppose supply isn't that vast anyway for a $500 card.
