Seeing this beta is already at E release, is it reasonable to assume that it should go final very soon?Quote:

Lol cold_realms. It seems the DS3's capturing the heart of us "value" oriented enthusiasts.
kenofstephens -
is there a change log ?
Is there a damn update for the DQ6???
well nothing new for me.
stability is back compared to F5c...
F5e for me atleast is comparable to F4 retail
still no good for Micron D9 ram. ggrrr!!!! god this ram is just sitting here going to waste.
I think there should be.Quote:

They gave me some BS about Award controlling the bios...what BS is that?, it's a Gigabyte branded JMicron JMB363 controller, so either Gigabyte or JMicron have control over it, and Award just integrate the RAID bios into the main system bios. Has anyone also noticed the Intel RAID bios has the word "RIAD" misspelled?
Yes LOL.Quote:

use either the F4 retail or the F5e bios.
both work great for me
i can cold boot at 412 FSB which is 3.7ghz. 1.437v vcore 100% stable.
Why would they raise the Max FSB from 600 to 700, if non one can clock any higher on this bios? are they prepping to release some higher FSB magic?
cuz its retarded
companies always raise the FSB its not like its a hard thing to do .. you just increase the number in the bios program and set it.
no one will ever reach 700mhz FSB thats 1400mhz DRAM forget never gunna happen.
but more testing with this bios is showing that at least for the ES chips its no better.
you guys with your retails chips. thats who are going to see the benefits.
but i do believe i am selling this board. since they seem to not find it possible to fix the stupid 950mhz barrier for D9 ram this baord truly doesnt do me any good.
so.. god knows what else to buy there isnt anything worth a crap out there right now.
if you are running your 6600 at 3.7 it doesn't sound like 950mhz on the RAM is your problem right?
Gah. I wonder if Gigabyte will fix the missing DTS audio signal 1 out of 5 reboots on my DQ6? I'm using the Realtek 1.44 audio drivers. Most of the time when I log in to Windows the DTS light on my receiver shows up. But sometimes it doesn't and I get no audio except in 2 channel mode. If I try to play a DVD using S/PDIF passthrough, I hear a squawk from the speakers and then silence. I HAVE to reboot to get audio back.
This is pissing me off. The DQ6 is a very unreliable board when it comes to its own built-in features.
I hope I don't get bitten by the x1 speed PCIe videocard bug too, I'll have to check that after the long weekend.
I should have gotten an Asus P5B Deluxe - at least Asus fixes things - eventually. :)
