Looks like someone found the power switch.
Now a days to make the chart requires some massive farms, congratulations to all the heavy hitters.
Aurgh! Painful to watch my crunchers conspire against me and all crash as soon as I leave town :(
No idea, been away over a week already
Checking the device manager it looks like most of them went down on two days, maybe a power outage one day, but my power has been stable so I dunno. I was also messing with my projects, maybe enabling CEP2 with unlimited number of WU's wreaked havoc on my machines, just a theory
I had been running very stable with a few months of uptime, now my machines start crashing the day I leave them alone, kinda a bummer. I'll be able to check it out Sunday night.
Don't discount biological interference. If something/someone got in there and knocked out the wrong lead you wouldn't know what might happen.
It took me a long time to get into a stable mode. I had similar effects. Before my output went crashing down for personal reasons, I had reached a very high reliability of the whole system. It took a long time to know how each machine reacts to each project, and the little tweaks, optimal OC level for CPU and memory, WI_Lan problems, optimal project mix etc. etc.
Clearly the planets are out of proper alignment if I'm getting the 4th biggest piece of pie!

trn is having difficulties and can't get to his machines to sort it out for a while and EtaCarinae has thermal issues for now, so it's opened up the pie for a few more chasers.
I've read some about their problems. Hopefully they will be resolved soon. :) This really baffles me. How should this be interpreted?

Top User does not compute. Error. Error. Danger Will Robinson. Danger!
It's ok. Just flail your arms about wildly and flash the lights inside your head unit and things will sort themselves out eventually.
Bless you D A for being old enough to recognize my obscure LIS reference.
My co-worker and I were discussing the old KFC ads today at lunch. He told me about the time he suggested to his daughters that they go to Colonel Sanders. They gave him a blank stare and asked: "Who is he?" :ROTF: I'm feeling old. The "finger lickin' good" commercials aren't at old are they???
I remember them quite vividly as it happens (from back when the eleven secret herbs and spices weren't salt, pepper, MSG and eight kinds of bullshyte), and I was a great fan of LIS back in the day as well.

and that, Biker, is sacrilicious® pie :yepp:
Tasty pie is tasty :)
Could I have that in 1920x1080 for my background?
http://i602.photobucket.com/albums/t...9/584e2c5c.png
Now then Oj101. Biker wants to know what you're up to?
Keeping him company
I'm just tryin to figure out how you did this:
http://i53.tinypic.com/15i3exk.png
Rather impressive jump right there.
That's more than a couple of SR-2s right there!
Well, when he's done using you as a hood ornament perhaps he'll let on just what happened.
Oh man that was a very good laugh  :D :ROTF:
By the way, you'd look pretty funny after being steam-rolled
Ever seen the kind of steam I'm using?
Thanks :D The motivation was there. Cancer has played a very big role in my family's lives, with most men passing away before the age of 60. I heard that HFCC was coming to an end soon and at my current rate I wouldn't have managed Sapphire before the deadline. It was all the motivation I needed to throw everything I can at the project ;)
Where did you get the above chart? I would like to see what it looks like now
Biker, prepare your engines. I was in contact with a friend at a data center today, 144 cores I'm trying hard to add. It would be awesome managing 1mil WCG PPD :D
//surrounded by mystery :p:
Tell me your secret and I'll tell you mine ;) Where did you get that chart?
http://i602.photobucket.com/albums/t...9/2749565e.png
No need for secrecy here Oj101, we're all crunching for the common good . Now if you could just un-hide those crunchers :D
Seventeen hexacores and a dual core :D
Did you buy all of those or how in the world did you get your hands on them?!?
That is currently a secret :D
http://i602.photobucket.com/albums/t...9/0c953ed6.png
:stick: We'll keep nagging until you tell all:rofl:
Maybe I should sell everything I have and buy a 980x rig or two. lol.
Sparky, Didn't you mention you have free power included in your housing situation? Put that excellent deal to use! :D
Up to a point. There is a clause in the contract protecting the landlord from abuse. As it is, I may end up getting a bit of an increase with my current hardware - trying to find out about maybe selling and condensing again or relocating a PC or two someplace else. Like perhaps turn the one into my office machine where its power usage would be minimal compared to the rest of the stuff running.
trn's a Sandy Bridge away from kicking Biker's ass - still twice my daily output
CPU a day keeps the Biker away :D
Man, Biker- you've really added quite a bit of horsepower since I last checked the pie charts. I can't believe we have 2 people crunching at such a crazy level on this team :clap::clap:
And when HyperNova is back up and running it will be 3
:wtf:
Me?
Crazy?
No.
Absolutely not!
Well... ok .... maybe just a little
Whatever happened to muddy101?
I'm not sure anyone knew who he was in the first place or what happened to him. No user accounts here with that name or similar.
He hasn't returned a result yet this year, Anyways he is missed from the charts and the team :(
Ok I have a question. Could you link me to the source for the data used to create these charts?
boincstats.com

Have to savour the blueberry today as I think it'll be my last taste for some time:(
What gives? why no Blueberry for you SAM?
I was over a power consumption target I had set myself. That, along with the first taste of summer heat, meant some crunchers had to stand down:shakes: If energy prices keep going up, more will follow:cussing:
I hear you brother :soap:
I'm chewing on that blueberry slice the last couple of days but I am kind of in the same boat. Weather is heating up and electric bill is very high, heat in basement is getting bad. I use my air conditioning power feed in winter to run a bank of P4's and need to run the furnace fan 24/7 to get rid of the heat so the upstairs is now staying too warm this spring. Now that 1155 motherboards are starting to reappear on the open market I'll be pulling some older P4 energy hogs off line and using the savings on the energy bill to build some more efficient 2600K units this spring and summer. I was going to do it sooner until the Intel chip glitch and the 1155 MBs disappearing act. I can build a new 1155 cruncher every 2 months with the power savings and bulldozer may appear soon to tear up the 1155 crunching landscape as well. Ubuntu 11.04 is also just on the horizon (which I use so as to not enrich Mr. Gates anymore than necessary) My points may be dropping way off very soon.
Well it sounds like we will have a little extra firepower to scrape up for the next super computer week :p:
Can someone link me to the graph, chart, whatever used for doing these PIE charts?
Congrats WFO
SB, grabbed blueberry on Free-DC also with a huge day
OJ, http://boincstats.com/stats/user_sta...o=&date=&or=12 SAM uses this to home bake his pie fresh daily! Boincstats updates once a day, around 1:30 EST +5GMT or so.

 Feeling hungry already:( Time to do some points foraging
