Mosel Vitalic ICs! Very bad overclockers!
Whats the deal with Hynix D43, ppl on Newegg are claiming that the Geil Ultra Platinum PC-4000, which is listed as Hynix D43 can do:
And at least 3 other ppl said the same thing. That may not be bh-5 or even bh-6 or even ch-5, but its got to be something !!!..Quote:

ram chips labeled D32080X1T-5R
Thanks a lot m8. :banana:Quote:

that being the 5*(2,)3,4,5(,6) Mhz bit...
In other words it means that they can reach at most (290 or) 285 or 280 or 275 (or 270) Mhz except rarity :D.Quote:

Do you know what chips have a 512MB corsair c2 pc3200 rev3.2 ?
thank's in advance :toast:
well, i already have it here, i expected to be a BH-5 part, but it isn't. it doesn't boot even with Cas 2. oh well, maybe it's broken or there's an incompatiblity problem... what do you think?Quote:

I was standing in line over at Fry's yesterday (wanted to look for a replacement for my CBBID stepping A64 - no go) and saw that Geil PC4000 512mb sticks were still on sale for $80 a pop. Curiosity got the better of me and I purchsed a pair.Quote:

Looks like the same GL3LC32G88TG-35 memory that was reviewed
here.
This stuff seems a lot like my Adata Hynix that I tested on my DFI LPUT, crapping out right around the same place.
Whatever it is it seems like a good deal for someone who doesn't have the volts to give to the TwinMos SP UT, or can't plow another $50 into some TCCD. Me personally, I would rather have the Speed Premiums or some killer GSkill. So what am I doing with this stuff? Curiosity kills cats like me! Darn! I'm such a :banana::banana::banana::banana:!
I do not see OCZ PC4200EL modules on this chart? they are TCCD also on a Brainpower PCB
yeah same with OCZ EL DDR PC3700 Platinum they are TCCD on BP808Quote:

hi,
after seeing this thread, i ordered the mushkin pc4400 to use with my epox 9nda3j and i haven't been able to hit higher than ddr540... even with 3-4-4-8 and 2.9 volts, i cannot hit anywhere near 300 with 1T.
with 2T, i can hit 300 with 2.5-4-3-8 and 2.85 volts...
i assumed that hitting 300 was with 1T or was I wrong to assume that?
It depends on the motherboard too. Yeah actually they are meant for reaching almost 300 with 1T but actually I hadn't much inputs when I put them into the classification.Quote:

Mushkin have a good deal on that memory atm. I tried ordering it, but got this message back: "We no longer offer individual customers online sales and shipping." :(Quote:

i have some g.skill 512x2 LA coming in soon so I'll see how these compare to the mushkin and keep the better of the two :)
i have corsair twin1024-3200c2pt and their rev 4.1 they cannot run 2-2-2-5 timings @ 400 mhz and ive got it up to only 255fsb @ 3-4-4-8
these cannot do 300mhz
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...141-138&depa=1
can these run 2-2-2-5 timings @ 400 mhz with 2.6vdimm
do you have a link where u saw these @ ~ 300mhz?
i really want to get these
- All TCCDs do 2-2-2-5 @ 400 mhz.Quote:

Are you sure they are 4.1 and not 5.1? Because those sound like Mosel Vitelic ICs.Quote:

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
i need that 2-2-2-5 timings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
if i leeave it @ 2.8vdimm would all the errors go away?
EDIT:::
i noticed it said SAMSUNG TCCD+TCCC
is it mixed or it could be either one?
my cousin has twinx-3200c2pt
and his are revision 5.1
using that mosel chips
are those any good????
can they run 2-2-2-5 and overclock well?
For sure they aren't TCCC, but TCC5.Quote:

For the record, I can't even recall 1GB of anything that has hit 300+ fsb with 2.5-3-3-X timings, 1T CPC and normal volts.
Nice thread Punisher, The Runner's info was getting dated. :toast:
it's not a lame deal. my sticks do 290 fsb with 2.5-4-3-X timings 1T CPC individually...
together, they will not do above 275ish... pretty sure i'm board limited.
Added OCZ VX Value and Twinmos with New BH-5 :D.
is windbond ch-5 chips any good?
Yeah, quite good, not exceptional.Quote:

Cause if anyone wants to start one, I'm sure Fugger, FCG, Stilt and some others would probably have expertise in it too. So if anyone has any ideas, sorry if this is the wrong place for this post, thought ppl here could apply their skill on finding out ddr2 info too. ;)
Perkam
so which memory to buy?
GSKILL PC4400 550 TCCD or OCZ GOLD VX UTT PC3200 ??? :(
my new system soon:
3200+ 939 / DFI ULTRA-D NF4 / Sapphire X800XL / MEMORY ???
hi people.
I am soo tired of this really lame transcend PC3200.
So I was on the look out for new 1GB RAM for my A64 3200+.
Ny aim is to get RAM that will do 270-280Mhz @ 2.5,4,X at 1T
My budget is under $200.
So far I have come across GeiL Ultra series PC4000 ( GL1GB4000DC ).
Is this confirmed same as old Ultra-x with TCCD?
Any other which will suit my aim and under $200?
They are in the list. They should be Samsung TCC5 (perhaps some have TCCD too). Just try 2-2-2-5 @ 200 Mhz.Quote:

ok i have above ram but i cannot do anything above 200 fsb@2-2-2-5 1T no matter what volts i throw at itQuote:
XMS-PC3200XL/XLPT Rev1.1 (2-2-2-5-1T) --chip--> Samsung TCCD
best i can do is 250x10 ram is 5:6 @208fsb timings are 2.5-3-3-7 1T again no matter what juice i throw at it
also these seem to run a bit hot they idle @ 42 c with an open well ventilated case and 55-57 c after 3 hrs of gaming
i thought these were high 1:1 action sticks i guess not ?
LOL! Have you tested them with memtest @ default?Quote:

The first post report OCZ4001024WV3DC-K being equped with UTT chips, but in the picture below, we don't seem to be at all in such case :o
http://www.moddershq.net/~reviews/Ba...sc000155ds.jpg
Sorry for the large picture, but i haven't got any resizer currently and btw i give the most detailed shot as possible
Actually they are (black die with just that little dot is the new UTT die)... just burn in them @ 2-2-2-5 and let us know! :DQuote:
