Wow this is a serious work of art.
I'm feeling overwhelmed with the power of all that cooling!
nice work seeker!
cant wait to see this finished... i put my MM aside for now... might come back to it at a later point in time though!
Inspiring work! keep it up!
Hello!
Are you after the looks AND performance or just plain performance?
IMHO, the canceled project was better for the eye!
Just asking because I feel that you are not really liking where is this one heading to...
That said, nobody will doubt about performance!
Like I said, putting lipstick on a pig! However, I have solved the MB tray problem, three braces, and they are needed with the three 580's with h20 blocks. The case idea is overall sound, but they need to use thicker aluminum and offer a few more options internally. A big part of this screw up is my fault. I needed a case quickly and I could not wait for a custom case, lesson learned.
Stay tuned and see if I can turn chicken sh*t into chicken salad.:D
A few items showed up today and I will be able to make most of the final cuts tomorrow for the tubing.

Yes, you do see compression fittings:eek: Not my usual, but I ordered them due to the close quarters of the rads in the lower chamber, if I need them.

I have always liked the way Feser packages their rads.....completely sealed!
I also received a large box containing red and black plexi. Now that I have perfected my method for cutting it, I may some fun tomorrow.
I am still debating my side window cut-out and my top cut-out. I was thinking of a porthole effect on the side, but it may be tricky, and I am an old dog and this would be a new trick!
I have the MM side panel with the cut-out but the opening is a little too big. Fortunately, I ordered an additional solid panel.
In progress updates tomorrow. No excuses now and I want to get the case to the powder coater next week.
Cheers!
Those flow meters going to work with the Aquaero?
Well, I did not have much time after all today, but some progress was made. I mounted the second Feser 120.4 and now there is very little room in the dungeon!

See what I mean?
I also managed to make the midplate, yes it's sagging, but I have not installed my angle support braces.

I also noticed another little issue...the MB block fitting will be very close to the VGA card...

I can figure it out. Now, check out my spaghetti drawing regarding my loops..

I just realized that I did not include the A5 block in the loop! Idiot
You may have also noticed that the SR 120.1 is in the case too. I may use it who knows?
Obviously, I have a few options, but I need to get this build done at some point.
Any suggestions, advice, positive or negative are welcome.
Have a scotch, I am!
I've never been of fan of compression fittings (DD Fatboys or Perfect Seals, Tygon, and Herbie Clips *never* fail to deliver).
Because most of your fittings are barbs (as they should be), are you going to go naked, use tactfully-small zip ties, or Herbie Clips? I'd *never* suggest worm drives, for someone with your tastes! :nono:
I have no doubt that 7/16" over a good 1/2" barb can hold without clamps for most loops. The problem is that I'm now sold on always using a single loop, so pressure is now a bigger concern than ever.
Thoughts?
Looking sweet!
I have a black and white one too. Once the case is powder coated, it should be easy to determine which color to use.
I use 3/8" tubing over 1/2" barbs and it works great. My reason for two loops is due to the number of blocks being used and the length of tubing for one loop. Not to mention the routing nightmare with one loop, plus I need to fill in the case.
Thank you!
Here is my idea for the 250 res....

If I paint the fittings correctly, I might just get a floating effect. Since I did not have a good solution for mounting with the clamps, this appears to be my best bet. Actually, I think it will add more depth and interest to the overall build.
Thoughts?
with 2 quad rads, why are you even considering that single rad?
Are the res mounting pics just for mounting purposes, or is fluid going to be running out through the bottom of the res?
It works! I filled it up with H20 and no support problems at all.:D
pics!
Out with the EK and in with the Aqua!

Big update on Sunday. Tomorrow is my Nephews 4th Birthday and I have to be Darth Vader..............
Nice blocks! Soak 'em in some scotch to get them primed and ready.
