Except the cache is shared, so there may be some incremental improvement in lightly threaded situations as there will be more effective cache available.Quote:

I just found out my old M3A78-EM is AM3 capable, which would rock and give me an excuse to move my 945 to that rig and go Thuban if it does do am2+. It just depends on price, performance, and OC'ability.
If my locked 945 will have a higher OC than the Thuban, forget it.
