On Monday Nvidia is going to announce Fermi 28nm (SOI and High K metal gates) for Q1 2011.
But I don't really expect wide availability before May 2011.

That would be a REAL shocker as NVIDIA is currently worth $9.2B, and AMD (the owner of ATi) is currently worth $5.59B. So ATi would be buying a company that's likely worth 4X as much as them on the open market. (if you consider the ratio of AMD to ATi value when AMD purchased ATi outright)

You don't see that happen every day. Would be sort of like Jeep purchasing Chevrolet to make Corvettes. :shrug:
