full pin dipper mod anyone :)

can you please give me more details about this mod ? focussed photos and working :) i cannot understand ;D
Carlos your work is astonishing. Please show us some frequencies for GPU and memory. Once again amazing work.
I like your mods evocarlos. It is very nice to see that kind of work in these days.
That card needs some very good cooling now!
i cannot exsplane it, its just what i do :) i r engineer :ROTF:
the info in sf3d 1st post is the best place to start the vid switch is just the same as that vid mod but switchable
thanks ibm
my skills are improving by the minuite i can now repleace smd ic's - really hard to do at home tho :)
hey sf3d i have done 2 cards the same for someone else to test
i wont be testing as dont have acess to ln2 or the pots :( best i could prolly do would be 2 single stages
at some point i will mod my card and get it cold and see what it can do :)
some voltages :)
1.248v
http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/s...9092009538.jpg
1.273v
http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/s...9092009539.jpg
1.426v
http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/s...9092009540.jpg
there are lots of voltages to select for just modding vids 2/3/4/5 and leaving vid 0/1-6/7 fixd at 0 (open)
1.426 is working ok ?
or is there any ovp/ocp ?
do quad sli and on every core use ss :D show us some love with those cards :D
the voltage images are just to show the vid dipper is working the card will need dice or ln2 at 1.4v i would of thought
and there will be no ovp only ocp but the cards are modded for ocp just incase
:) and i wont be testing these cards somone else is i will just be testing one card that i have Msi n295gtx :)
oh :D tell the guy who will be testing this under cold that he shouldn't show before he won't do the 950+ on core with this mods :D
how much more O/C do you get when you Watercool your gtx 295
We mod (me and Barrel)
0-1-0 1-1-0-0-0 and run at 1.44 tested
But i did try to adapter 2 x GTX285 LN2 blocks and its not fitting (shock with PCI ex connector).
One of the 2 GPUs isn t working well

http://i35.tinypic.com/2j3qsn8.jpg
We reach 870/1250 Mhz few minutes but there are no good contact in the surface and the GPU get hot.
After i will try again (waiting a good VGA pot)
Very nice work Evocarlos; can you help me with the OCP?
Have any pics to follow?
Thanks ;)

the images in that post show the ocp mod i have done i removed the 200k resitor form the card and fitted 2x 100k vr's in SERIES to make it 200k
but in my testing by lowering the impedence there was no affect
atm my cascade is broken and i need to fix that before i can test again my card just may want more voltage to go more but its hitting ocp with 1.3v and 800/1610/1300mem it will pass vantage at 800/1600/1300 on air at 1.3 no ocp mod
i just need more time to get it worked out :)
Just looked at the back of my 295 Co-op  These friggin things are TINY
No way my tremblin old hands could work with that without incurring serious damage to both my hands and the cards
I have my cards on water right now, but they seriously need more volts. I was SEVERELY disappointed that evga's voltage tuner won't work on their own cards  Any way to do it software wise using Riva Tuner ???
Short of that, what would it cost me to have the dip switches installed on both cards ??? They'll be going LN2 one of these days, but not for a few months so the switches would be nice :)
And EvoCarlos.. love your avatar :D
Any way to wire in a poteniometer so you can dial in a desired voltage ???
I think no need so troublesome just 100ohm between 2 points will do it:

wow carlos,amazing mod there... :o
I did the mod to 1.2 V with cooler original (100%), tested and checked the voltage that was correct.
I put the 750 (linked) / 1150 and was running FurMark ha about 3 minutes and the board died.
I tried restore to stock voltage, but when I turn on the PC, the board threatened to turn the cooler but does not care.
The card died after trying to test the stability with FurMark in just a few minutes.
Any idea?
I know XFX will not give me RMA of the moded card.
I think i spend a lot of money :(
Thanks
the vga card is died .... :(
Sorry to dig this few weeks thread up, but could you just 'short' the green resistors with silver glue?
That way the resistors would actually be bypassed right?
I have some silver glue that can be easily removed with acetone if I need to :)
Or do you need to remove the resistors completely?
hey
for it to change the voltage you need to remove the smr
:)
lol removing it is not the problem... placing it back would be problematic, it's really small ;)
but if you remove it then you have a trace that normally ran from the first side of the resistor to its other side... so in reality you'll break a trace, it will lead nowhere... know what I mean?
I just don't feel comfortable possibly killing 2 cards (yes I have Quad sli)
you can always just bridge the to pads where the smr was with solder that will work the same as the smr
i need a mode stops it from black screening after 1600 shader
my card want so go so much more but this problem is annyoing
shammy please guile me the right way :)
I Have A Dual Pcb Gtx295 Running In Sli With A Single Pcb Gtx295....carried Out The Volt Mod Of Removing Resistor 4 On The Single Pcb Gtx295....incresed The Voltage Of The Dual Pcb Card With Software To Match....but Gpu Z's Voltage Still Says Stock Voltage Why?? I Have Removed Resistor 4 !!! Any Help People??
