Can some1 explain to me how 920 can manage 22 multi :)
The 22x Multi is due to Intels advanced Turbo boos technology, it applies on the 920, 940 and 965. it is basically when the cpu detects that it needs more power it wil raise the CPU multi to adjust the core clock of the cpu :)Quote:

maybe you could try something older :D i have a ati 1650 pro that allowes me to take the pci-express frqs much higher than on high end cards.. but some cards like 8800gtx by xfx could withstand 145 freqs on the older p35 and 790i boards.. too bad i dont have that card anymore it would be interesting to test how high i could take the pci-e on x58 boards :rolleyes:Quote:

it's nice but QPI slow mode had allot to do with that high clock. Without it, it's pretty tough lol.
