these vga's go very fast but I think that in vantage run's triple 280gtx are a little faster.....we will see with the official drivers release :)

That's also considering the use of a THREE gpu setup when a single one of those gpu's is already on par with and sometimes faster then a single 4870 gpu. In my opinion ATI/AMD have a real winner with the 4870x2...the size is earily reminiscent of the Voodoo 5 6000 (plus some) but what matters is performance, and they seem to be right on track.Quote:

I make 20k 2006 with 8 core Xoen and single 8800gt..and you have lower score with Cel430 and GTX280 3-SLi.... => 8800gt is 3times more powerful than GTX280 .... period

hiya giorgio got 2 x 4870x2's couple of questions have you uploaded any scores on the orb i have and although i can upload them and all the details are there , i can't publish the compare link and where the name of the card is on orb it say generic vga, also what have you done to get past cccs core limit of 800, flashed the bios or some other overclocking tool to over clock in quad quadfire
