Thanks septim. I will start my work log soon.
@Gunther04: where'd you get that alpha cool lcd? is that usb or serial?
What an awesome Cosmos. Great job.
The thread title totally caught my eye, as I always thought the Cosmos looked like a toaster. There was a chrome-polished one at a Cebit show awhile ago that reminded me of one of those chrome Sunbeam toasters from the 60's. Would love to see a Cosmos with a couple DVD players mounted with the slots at the top of the case. With a big plastic slider on the front to load and eject the discs, which would pop out of the slots a bit when ejected, just like toast.:p:
haha, novel idea...
Welcome to XS {Dark-Night}, yeah as what septim mentioned basically all removable parts has to be taken apart prior to powder coating.
#emoners: Got it from here. On USB mate.
Fit Thermochill PA120.3 in top of Cosmos S?
I could buy it.....
yep, with very little modification of course but as you can see it is possible ;)
almost done! Go Baby :D
Nize work.

Props u the man. On top of all that the damn thing is built in the PI !!!! Its hot over there and that thing will stay pretty cool. I'm working on a Cosmos S myself but after seeing this worklog, i bow down. hehehe good stuff man.
Yup, inspired by his work on the paint job and another one from a UK forum for the alpha cool display and so on. Basically its a combination of different ideas from different projects posted in water-cooling galleries  The theme though I choice for this one is black and red inside not straying away from the original cosmos-s black red combination.
Im still missing red LED's in there, should be done by next week or so.
Thanks mate, and welcome to XS :) Yeah water cooling does indeed help, with ambient temps of 30C+ here in Manila , my computer does beg for water cooling lovin' ;)
Has put you red additive in your feser one black uv??
Regards!
Been busy with work but was able to finally finish setting up the red LEDS inside the case today. Toaster project is almost complete :) well with the temporary xfx ultra mobo anyway :D
Woo... seems like the CPU, GPU and Pumps are being toasted now :D

Holy cow that looks really nice. I guess black coolant does it for me :D
Very, very nice!! looks awesome!
How to do fit Thermochill PA120.3 in top? Can you put more pics of detail?
I will change my Antec P182 for this wonderful case!!
Tnaks you so much!!
you took out the leds on that OCZ RAM cooler? why not change it into red also?
wow very nice build
Yeah they do but the smallest they have are 80mm i believe. The fans used in the OCZ cooler are 60mm's.Quote:
