I got this information from a german etailer.
I hope this information was incorrect...
Edit: I got confirmation last Friday - UT version will be skipped/ is already EOL
There will be only the LT version
so .. anyone get their boards yet?
according to motherboardpro.com
"
128-bit Dual-channel memory architecture
4 240-pin DDRII DIMM sockets max 8GB
Supports unbuffered, single/double-side DDRII 533/667/800 DIMMs
Supports x8/x16, non-ECC and up to 1Gb DDRII devices
"
means it "only" supports 1gb sticks ?? so..if i want 4 gb i need 4x1gb ???
i really need to kow what they mean with "1gb ddr II devices" (see two posts above :)
As mentioned by Snipes in the other thread, the board is now listed as
IN STOCK!
I've got mine on the first dogsled out of Georgia (unfortunately, FEDEX and UPS want damn too much money to send a little ole MB to Alaska like $60, so the fine folks at MotherboardPro.com are sending it via the postal service for only $20 bucks! )
Hopefully it'll make it here before the end of the year
Did you guys get tracking numbers yet?
no not yet, im just gonna call tomorrow and find out
i actually paid for extra shipping so i can guarentee the product by this week
edit.

Tommy- We believe the board shipped today but do not have any tracking info. Hopefully, everything will be clarified in the morning.
Thank you-

so hopefully ill have a tracking # tomorrow afternoon
Sounds good. I may chat with them at lunch time again today to get a status, if I haven't received an e-mail.
no tracking for me either :\ its ok though my xxx3870 hasn't even shipped yet. in fact im gonna call both places right about now.
Ahhh, but that's the rub ... to get it out of the warehouse in CA, it can only go FED-EX or UPS ... for the above mentioned $60 ... The fine folks at MoBoPro will have it shipped to GA and then forward it on via the trusty ole United States Postal Service. Which is why I am hoping to see it before the big New Year's Eve party here in exciting downtown Tok, Alaska!
Well for AKHandymans case, seems like MBP is trying to work with him on shipping price
Edit
Checked the tracking information for this board and it has shipped, will be here friday..
someone please recommend me memory for this board? i want 4gb / dual channel and plan to hit 3.6Ghz++ on Ultra 120 extreme.
Does it matter whether i get 4x1gb or 2x2gb ? (I guess i need 2x2 for dual channel, right?)
I am confused whether to get 6400, 8000, 8800 etc
On dfi x38 LT+ Q6600!
Mine isn't coming till Tuesday :( , oh well as previously noted i wont be able to build until all my parts arrive.
For anyone whos interested, I'm starting a worklog for this project in the cases forum in a bit ;)
Ill be receing mine on Friday,
It seems like the boards never did ship on Monday bu rather on Tuesday
Hello zsamz,
i dont see gskill in 2x2048 config, at least not at that speed (also not at the gskill page)....everytime i do a search for 8500+ and 2x2GB it comes up with

Are those any good ?
