Im using 3 benQ G24 HD.
These 580 are really some beast. Waiting the EK block to be avalaible in canada.
fook 3 monitors gimmie 1 5760x1080 :D
actually id rather prefer 2:1 as 3:1 is too wide
after a seventh look ok 3:1 will do :)
stalker cop: ssao enabled+high quality at these settings very taxing

Thank you Napalm! I actually ended up at 910 core but these cards do not have a drop more in them even at 1.138. Pretty wild stuff
I got my replacement gtx 580. I'm having an issue though, it seems when I'm pushing the card past 930-9xx+ I get a frame hit. Why would I have lower frames? I'm not artifacting at all either.
improved sli performance

not a bad vid and nice i might give it a try just to see how sli performs @ max
thanx!
i gotta ask :) what vid? hows gaming stability @ default clocks anymore issues there?
try higher vgpu or gpu temp is too high try on max fan
So far the card is solid at stock clocks. It hasn't crashed at all in gaming (crosses fingers)
I've done max fan, and my temps are good. The highest voltage I can go is 1.138v and that's what I have it set to for benching. It runs 960mhz on the core with no artifacting or stuttering of any kind, but the mem was still set to stock. My vid unfortunately is worse (1.050v). I'm still thinking of just doing a full return because I'll be honest I was really bummed out when I saw the vid.
but you said all this vid thingy is just a myth :)
why be bummed out its not a bad vid its doing 960 thats good
just increase vgpu a bit more (set to 1.150 an itll drop to 1.149 after apply) via afterburner to get mem higher and your good
Yeah i know its a myth. Just remember though i think we would all be as cheery as you if we had a chip as good as yours. Still though I can't complain, I'm very fortunate to even own such a card.
How do you unlock higher volts? I would like to give 1.150v a shot with 100% fan speed, still at 85% over here.
if it makes you feel any better nothing special about my chips they just 1.025vid thats all
look around lucky others got 1.000vid can only dream of 2x 1.000vid id be doing 1ghz on stockcooling thru all tests
but im happy and thankful with what i got
dude im still on stock bios you think someone offered or shared any special bios with me nothing
look for "afterburner 2.1 beta 4" easily attainable
New 263.09 WHQL over at EVGA downloads to try :)
Heres shams unlocked/cold bios

Also you can get your own bios modded here
http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=329033
if you look at page 31 h made me a evga sc 580 bios with 100% fan and unlocked to 1.21v.
those guys are ok helping all who ask.
nice 03 action napalm :)
My max clocks any more and starts to freeze up! Will have to wait for higher clock till i get a chiller!

Same ere same performance with 263.09 drivers!
What do you guys think. Would a oc'd Q6600 be able to keep this card going?
It would but be very cpu limited!
:D 1.0vid @ 1.33v -180c
Nice! Results!
concentrated on getting the system stable and went up this high on ambient air/thermalright silver arrow/1.5vcpu
Q is will it be stable running the 580s @ high 3d clocks.. thats coming up
http://img44.imageshack.us/img44/8741/93262801.png
Nice result m8! Is that cpu on water now! Have been thinking of getting a 980x but sandy bridge is kind of putting me off!
thanx! no bro no changes still same cooler from above^ im not into watercooling dont have any cpu/gpu waterblocks
http://img9.imageshack.us/img9/8277/12780975.png
Nice overclock on air! I think i will get a 980x my cpu is letting me down! I can only get 4.3Ghz max! Had like 5GHz on water! When ocing the 580 there very cpu limited!
I bought an MSI 580GTX. It has a green pcb with a 1.03 VID but its not a good clocker. Stock VID with fan @ 85% can only do 900mhz 3D03 benchable...:(
Best I can do for now on air but the score seems low to me...thought I'd be much closer to 110K with these clocks.

Asus green and yellow pcb but 1.013v vid for both of them. Stockcooling 85% fan:

look thru all of first post - i didnt remove q9650 results
in crysis 950mhz gpu single 580/aa 16xQ @ 980x beats 975mhz gpu single 580/aa 4x @ q9650
just an example like i said it depends on the game and settings

Using stock vid of 1.03v for my runs for now. Even with increased mem clocks I am still puzzled on how some people are getting higher GT3/GT4 scores on similar clocks.
An improvement but still not what I expected....something is missing.:shakes:
http://img526.imageshack.us/img526/9...1121190611.png
it could be your system memory what clocks is that at and timing!
Some benchmark at 3.8Ghz

does this look like watercooling to you?? go poop on someone else if you got nothing better to do
http://img543.imageshack.us/img543/6779/77608708.jpg
thats low oh it needs higher vgpu than that v1.1xx
im not a 3dmark expert i just runem consecutively always
run it with nature selected only first and see you if get higher fps that way
runem all in certain order - check the 3d section
nonetheless you still need to increase vgpu/core/mem
note: windowed vs fullscreen: quite diff results - windowed = higher fps/scores
just pure insane tess @ 1080p

any crysis and crysis warhead benches with 3x580 on max setting! Thats way cool!
sli :D i gave it a shot but this will go in the q9650/p45/ddr2 system
its not running very efficiently right now.. id need another 1.025vid this 3rd 580 is high vid and brings down the others with it.. and on top of that it probably needs more juice

Napalm, TY for the Stalker test! I think I need to sell off my 465 GTX and a kidney (got two right?) and get a 580 or 2!!! :D
Here is a link for Metro 2033 demo :

Can you run it at max settings (4xAA or higher) if you have time? Single and SLI would be nice.
Thank you again!
My GTX 580 resets the frequency during acceleration.
900 stable at 1.138v is water on the GPU.
How to disable the protection from the dumping frequency once and for all?
Temperature of 14 degrees with no load, the test as 54 degrees.
it in one test may like this

It is black bro :) Only the slot extender is green :)
I'm... not comfortable in contradicting Peter by saying this, but I think 100 ohm trimmer is too big.
I hooked one up, and by the time I got to 1.10v (3D) there was 19.2 ohm left. If someone wanted 1.15v and got impatient, they're risking a short circuit :(
I now have two 100 ohm trimmers in parallel. Extra turns and a faster response as dual safety nets.
AMD bracket is applicable to GTX 580? :D
AMD Phenom bracket is perfect fit! :D
This is what 1.05V VId card can do on aircooling.

1.274v and only 61c max... cpu cooler @ gpu FTW :D
I got a 1.002v GTX580 and can't make it stable at only 925MHz with 1.12v. It's still aircooled, waiting on the waterblock, that's probably why it crashes the driver after a while playing. I don't wanna test with more volts before i watercool it.

Lost.. spell it out please for those that are not awake yet! hehe
He's showing that with 1.2 volts, vregs measured temps are 107.2C! Would probably be much less with a full water block. Slipknot, you should strap some fans to that sucker!

Removed easily, but I have had problems after a long time was reset the frequency with which connected it is not clear.
It seems necessary to produce a second version of the program there are already 100% protection will be removed.
No overclocking just to play on the set only cooler by 60% and was reset frequencies in NFS HP after 40 min
Temperature no higher than 38 degrees.

Need help, just got my evga sc(ssc ftw) * 4 today and 4 of them just don't do anything on my UD9 (bios f5g) no bios post or anything happen only the fan 're spinning. But on my R3E all work. What should I do???? Please.......
vern you really should think about buying a full coverage water block, everything except your GPU are suffering! Don't expect a long lifespan from that card!
