Just for lols
Jeez, all these single socket scores.
Haven't you guys learned yet?
CB11 is dualie and quad socket territory!
Is that on water, air cooling?
Nevertheless, I still added it to the CB11.5 score chart.
:D
Stock air atm in a cm stacker 832 with stock fans. Hoping to go thuban soon. Either the 1075 or the 1090 :)

It seems like Cinebench isnt a really Bandwidth whore as i assumed it would be
OK, I was bored tonite and decided to push my CB11.5 score.
It's no 8.xx but it's still my best ever... :p:
Not too shabby for a conventional water rig. As you can tell from the SS, there were quite a few OS tweaks involved too (turned off all the un-needed stuff).
I probably didn't tune it just right for this bench, kinda went for MAX on everything...
I like CB 11.5, it's a pretty good stability test and not the easiest thing to complete at high clocks on an AMD rig... :D
http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c3...Best_CB115.png
Nice one Dave. I can tell you 8.xx doesn't come by itself, it was real hard. At least for my cpu. Did you manage to fix your >300ht speed problem yet?
This is a little OT Zeus, but yeah, I figured out my HTRef problems.;) It was all related to Memory....
I actually figured it out using my Mushkin BBSE's. All I needed to do was bump the voltage up to 1.60 and I could get higher HTref clocks.
IMHO, I don't think Thubans IMC likes low voltage (<1.5v) mem kits...
I was actually going to start a new thread about this, but I've had a few beers and decided not too... :p:
Oh well, ya got me started now... I'll spill the beans!
Once I figured out that the BBSE's would allow me to clock the HTref higher (as long as I gave it a little more juice), I bought a discounted Hyper kit (Corsair GT 2000 CL8 @ 1.65v), it wasn't cheap, but $220 seemed reasonable...
The sad thing is that even though I can run really tight timings @ 1600+ on the Corsairs, I can't even get close to the Freq clocks I got on the cheapo BBSE's at looser timings... :(
The Mushkins just seem to be MUCH more flexible....
With decent voltage I could get the Mushkins ~ 6-8-6 @ 1800.
I'm having a hard time getting these GT's >1650 reguardless of timings.
I've only had them for a couple weeks so I very well could be missing something... :yepp:
If anyone has any tips on tweaking the Corsair GT's for Freq, I'm all ears...
I'm on vacation next week and I'm taking advantage, so excuse me for being buzzed... :p:
Good to hear you've got it figured out Dave. The Corsairs should do better than that, assuming you have the same kit i had? Give them up to 1.75V and you should see around 880 (DDR 1760) 6-6-6 or even 6-6-5. Don't go lower than 18 for tras, 15 is good up till 820, over that use tras 18.
Good luck. ;)
 Nice, that moves you up 8 places in the CB score chart! :D
ReKcOlNu: Thanks for keeping and updating the list!
I've got a new one though...
Is it stable? Well, it was stable enough to get a good CB score. ;)
What can I say... I couldn't have Flank3r's wicked Air Cooled 1090T beating out my W/C'd 1055.
http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c3..._Best_CB11.png
hehe, good work Dave, hm, i must to go harder working, now your 7.82p is very hard for me
Here is my gold 1055t chip under a 3/4 hp cascade
http://users.tpg.com.au/cytotek//4.7ghzCinebench.3.jpg
someone send him a 1090T, bet he gets 5ghz in under an hour!!!
a bit better CInebench R11.5 run, my record to time. 4320MHz 3085MHz for NB. I tried second 4340MHz run, but about 75% run crash a program :-/. Still aircooling, CPU voltage 1.525V Update me :-)
http://img715.imageshack.us/img715/5...64bit4319m.png
Flank3r, i think it's time to move on to better cooling, maybe water....:D
this cpu you have is an excellent piece.....
thx felix, im think, some day broken 4340 run and of course 7.7 point :-). But in 32-bit i can run Cinebench with same setings at 4370 MHz :-)
Here's my run at 4.625GHz @ 1.55v with the NB at 3.0GHz @ 1.35v under my stock VapoChill LS. It got up to -4°C for this Cinebench run. I just got this chip less than a week ago and normally run it at 4.5GHz @ 1.525v playing BC2 and it hasn't crashed yet.
http://webpages.charter.net/darkdark...ebench11.5.jpg
did someone say they wanted a 5GHz shot?
http://webpages.charter.net/darkdark...v%20H-2.2G.jpg
too bad it crashed right after i saved the SS :p
It might. I really don't want to fry this chip too soon, but then again, I'm still 55°C below the advertised max... maybe a cinebench at 5.0 @ 1.75v :p
Nice! You made it into the top 5!
Score chart here.
i would post my score, but it would be for the bottom 5 thubans, lol
that nuts the #2 guy is on water (at 1.68v thought)
More scores the better, its good for references, for example Lightman (post #99) gave use a base reference for the 1090T (no overclocking), very useful to others IMO.
heres mine
http://img340.imageshack.us/img340/6979/cb115.png
5.95 is what i just got with that cpu speed, which is my 24/7 speed, which does have turbo on which hits right at 4ghz. (the screenshot is done while in the middle of a run to show you 100% load speed, otherwise you would see 900mhz on cpuz)
my fastest is saved on there at 6.27pts, but you can ignore that one, since i might try to beat that soon enough
PS, cooling is H50
oh it felt stable looked stable loaded stable then Bam! BSOD~! :/ out of no where lol
it would seem the cold is better
like his NB only's need 1.35 volts for 3000mhz
while mine on air for stable at 3000mhz need 1.5 volts
Nb add stress and heat most likely Nb will get finicky when unstable.
ram unstable happens above 1600mhz for most people.
all this cold makes me think about buying a tec block.
if your running that cold you should have no problems at 1.63 to 1.65 on cpu.
nb at 1.35 and nb/cpu at 1.40 with nb at 3100+
i ran my chiller for 8 hrs straight running all sorts of benches without any worry at all at 4700 to 4800 mhz.
my ram is corsiar dominator gt's that i run at 1750 to 1850 at 7,7,7,24
how cold can you get?
I've got the PhenomMsrTweaker runnin in the background for everyday tasks, keeps it idled at 1GHz @ 1.2v and -22°C. once it gets a load, that temp ramps up steadily, it'll usually stay under 0°C if it's not being loaded for long.
I'm running some OCZ plats, just some 1600MHz ones I picked up a while ago, and not the good ones. I think I'm gonna go make a purchase on some G.Skill Flare 2x2GB ones. Not quite sure which flavor to get. they have two 2000MHz kits and two 1800MHz kits, one with loose timings and one with tight timings.
thoughts?
Update for #163
Got bored today (hangover) and tested out Bios 1102
http://img685.imageshack.us/img685/9816/occb115.jpg
update me, still aircooling, finally im broken 7.7 points :D
http://img827.imageshack.us/img827/3...64bit4340m.jpg
Not as good as Flanker sample, but I still working on it:
http://img201.imageshack.us/img201/7...nebenchtop.jpg
very nice, what cooling do u using?
@ Barr3l Rid3r: Not sure what MHz I should enter for you so just going with CB's 4410 :wiggle: for now, otherwise let me know and I'll change it.
@ everyone else: Please include the type of cooling such as Air, Water, DICE, LN2, etc, etc, Thanks!, and PM me if you need me to change or update something on the AMD CB 11.5 score charts page.
Cheers!
Here's my entry. 1090T on CHIV Formula, watercooled.

Guess you missed it in my posts above, here it is...
AMD CB 11.5 score charts page
Updated again. :D.
Do you guys turn off everything possible in the OS before you do the test to get a few more ounces for the score?
I ask because i'm looking at the charts and i see few cases of better scores on lower core clockspeed and i've been wondering what could be the cause.
Gimme a little time and I'll take that 1st place for a X4 off Infrareds hands :D
Guess i'll find out if AVG and Asus probe are keeping me back on the score this evening.
Yeah, that did the trick.
http://img695.imageshack.us/img695/7588/r1154b.jpg
Well everyone's only posting up Thubans here anymore but I've been playing with my 965 some more after installing my Mugen 2 last night. Seems I have a bum core #2 when going for 4Ghz and above. It fails almost instantly under load. I'll keep playing with and maybe try AOD as the other 3 cores seem stable.

http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4086/...348ddaf8_b.jpg
im liking this thuban x6 :p
any tips? this is on air
for benching you can probably squeeze some more cpu-nb speed. maybe around 2950mhz with around 1.4v on cpu-nb.. more tweaking you might be able to get some more cpu mhz too :)
AMD x4 970 BE, aircooled CM Hyper 212 1028 DPMW
http://img51.imageshack.us/img51/467...64bit4071m.jpg
Is that all your 970 X4 can do?
maybe more, but i have only 1 try :)...Stress by time :). Thinbk, with normal ambients its in 64-bit TOP at 4100-4120 MHz, with colder air maybe 4200 MHz.
OMG I cry every day for selling my 955 c3, it was prime stable at 4150mhz / 1.50v @ TRUE 120
4150 stable Deneb with aircooling is very impressive! Dont seen much so good Denebs, every 4100 MHz stable Deneb is awesome!
Hi guys, :D
This is my result. 4 processors. I run cinebench through vnc so i think there is much room for improvement left.
http://shots.gr/up/e15af4d716f57e668b8933afce797db1.JPG
You can see the internals of the beast here: http://www.outofspecs.gr/forum/showt...6174-inside%29
that is suppose to be 48 cores right?
yes, dont look what cinebench says.
does it actually try to run 48 threads at once (you would see 48 boxes being rendered at once)
a screenshot of that would be really cool to see.
It should, according to Maxon.... CINEBENCH can measure systems with up to 64 processor threads.
http://www.maxon.net/downloads/cineb...bench-115.html
I'm running single channel ram right now but I did a 7.07 with 4.2ghz and 3.2ghz NB 1600mhz ram 9-9-9-24(40) cheap ram keeping my score low :/ ?
single cannel si bad, timings RAM, what HT clock?
Quick test 445 unlock to B45@4290 MHz on air

Update: 8.11
http://b.imagehost.org/0947/cinebench-4_53.png
And just for fun @2cores. I'm sure it can go higher and also there's more headroom on the CPU-NB.
RAM timings could be optimized as well.
http://b.imagehost.org/0638/cinebench-2c.png
I.nfraR.ed:.... Bastage! :D
Are you using that cold Bulgarian air to help your WC rig?
8.11 is a killer score man...
I haven't tried using the weather to my advantage yet, but I've also never broken the 8.xx barrier...
I used the opened window just to cool the room, but it was not very cold: 17 degrees in my room. Well, I had to drop the temperature down, 24 degrees is not good for benching :)
I probably could go higher with more cold and if I put the rig next to the window, but it's too complicated to do it at this stage.
Nice one Ivan, good ram and CPU-NB speed too. I think i have to do some catching up. :D
how much i need for 7.8 ? ,-) ....
I wonder what is highest speed for Deneb for air cooling in charts?
More MHz/H20?
CineBench Score ChartsCode:12 crazydiamond /176 7.89 - 1090T X6 4402
13 Barr3l Rid3r /246 7.85 H20 1090T X6 4410
14 Daveburt714 /213 7.82 H20 1055T X6 4368
no, i want try this year with air :), 4368 MHz is no way from my last run :)...
Ill give an old 4200+ a spin tonite on cinebench and see what it can do in comparison to the new architectures :)
I'll beat you to the punch. ;) And here's a near cream of the crop K8 at that. I think I can do 3.5Ghz on his 6400+ I just have it at 3.4Ghz 24/7. This Zalman 9500 isn't the best for air on this thing.
This is XP 32 Bit. Maybe a bit better score with x64 is possible.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...400--34Ghz.jpg
Well here is my try again with a 4200+
Need better cooling though as it hit 53 degrees on this run :S
I think mine hit 60C. This 6400+ runs quite hot. I think 1.6-1.7+ may be achievable with a clean install and under 64 bit. I may try for higher clock speeds tonight, but honestly its just interesting to compare the architecture improvements from K8 to K10.5.
Update me, the same cooling, but a bit higher clocks, must catch up DavesBurt CPU ,-)
http://img823.imageshack.us/img823/3...64bit4360m.png
Thought i'd play with the cold air a bit, tonight :)
Ambient temperature 10C. Cpu voltage is 1.56 in idle and 1.584 load.
this is with aircooling?!
Aircooling? Nooo, it's with H2O, Flanker :)
I opened the balcony to cool the air inside the room to ~10C, that's what i meant in the previous post ;)
Nice jump from your previous 7.71 score, this moves you up about 10 places in the chart too. :)
@FlanK3r - finally updated you as well.
I'm now really sure that this is not a ordinary Deneb, it's superior one.
Impossible for my old Deneb on water, even with cold air help!
http://b.imagehost.org/0530/555-cinebench-crop.png
This is a result from 2 minutes (literally) of tweaking. The ambient temp is 20C. It took me more time to write the post and upload the screenshot.
I'm too sleepy now to aim for the maximum, but I will do it some other day.
This is my 24/7 overclock, 3.6GHz is the sweat spot, after that the speed to voltage ratio drops off a cliff.
http://i56.tinypic.com/2s0ef5e.jpg
Yes, 1046MPM. My 955 1001APMW is kind of a pointless now.
Here's my 435 :-)
http://www.abload.de/img/clipboard01tmx5.jpg
lol those new denebs are unbelievable! im interested in stability, let me know when you test some prime or the likes. maybe 4300mhz+ stable? mad222 did 4.5ghz vantage on air, you are doing 4.5ghz cb11, who knows! oh ya and mad did 7.3ghz valid on ln2 with his if you get into that sort of thing ;)
Cool, the first X3 posted!
You made me add a new color to my graph maker app. :p:
@ I.nfraR.ed: I'm guessing the B55 is water cooled?
Score chart updated again! :)
8.52
slight improvement for me
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c3.../852cin115.jpg
Nice score EQ looks like the chiller is working well.
It should do 4.3GHz+
2 hours here, but the first worker gave an error before 3 hours were completed. Anyway it's showing some good potential. The thing is that the 'safe' 24/7 voltage now isn't 1.55, like on old Deneb, but it's 1.48 as for Thuban?
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...postcount=1711
I'm not able to bench with LN2, but maybe some DICE soon.
@ReKcOlNu: Yes, the same water-cooling setup.
