and may you tell me will it be possible to put two 3x120 rads on bottom with16cm psu?
Love this project, totally inspiring to me! Question, would a 140.3 fit inside the case across the top? I'm debating a single loop w/a 140.3 and a 120.1 for an i7 920 and 2x GF100's.
mlee49: I've seen few worklogs with 140.3 on top. Sorry, i'm too lazy to search urls for them. Main thing you should watch for if 140.3 rad's width fits between 5.25 enclosure bays walls. Some 140rads fits (don't remember, XSPC or TFC or something else), some (in particular wider Black Ice GTX/SR1 - do not = required some cutting of top of those 5.25 walls). And of course you need cut top for larger rad and paint cuts or slap some nice rad grill ontop.
have this case and think about it right now so theres 1cm gap only (with RX360 and OCZ PSU)and in this place bunch of wires ATX24 connector. If you can mod your psu - (turn this bunch on 90degrees) I think it possible.
noeru you have this PSU what do you think is it possible put here RX360?

also for two rads at bottom you'll need this side panel

Nice build and photo's. But I think the one color light would look better.
Hi 00011011
980X I tried two, we needed first 4.3G Vcore1.65V:shakes:
I tested the CPU and heat test operator prim95 I think highly reliable utility.
1core will not even when I make an error. And one 12-hour loop
Required.;)
Thanks Gonzalo-Gonads

What unit two loops? Not that my 120x3

Hello mlee49
Thanks to word of praise!:)
It is a difficult debate! I see skinnee test.
XSPC rad I like the pitch. Slow (800-1000rpm) of the cooling fan is working I prefer quiet.
For the GTX480, HWLabs SR1-480, XSPC-RX480 candidates cited a quietly cool for me to determine the size needed GTX 480 has a narrow pitch fan speed 1800rpm ↑ SR-1 is a low volume. We have to xspc480.I think I prefer a quiet 140.3.
Hello Nage
I tried to put a 360 in the first study.
But I abandoned the ocz-z-z1000PSU
360 if possible get things set up next to the wiring is possible.
But now my system is 1000W but I have trouble in getting enough.
It will create a new side panels and me.
Hello Awers
Thank you Yes! Certainly:D
Thanks ScottALot She is so very cute:p:
amazing build ... I picked up few things and replicating it in my current project LINK
I'm struggling to fit the XSPC Dual bay res in the 5.25" as the sliders are sticking too much and prevent me from putting it in. I might have to dremel them off.
I appreciate your response noeru, but you didn't answer my question; perhaps you didn't understand me. Hopefully this Google translation works properly :)

Can somebody please tell me what this tool is?

I'm about to drill out the front rivets but didn't see this additional tool that's needed inside the bay.
That's a Black & Decker RTX flexi shaft.

Thank you much Phil!
Great work so far Noeru. Your build is the inspiration for my future 800D build which will look very similar to yours except I have only (1) 240 radiator on the bottom and (1) 360 radiator hanging off the back of the case.

Hello Noeru,
With so much power you swore to blow up the rivets of the Obsidian. I have not yet seen an Obsidian climbing on trees, but I believe that on your worklog it is only a question of patience.
I am going to really enjoy the show two 5970 in this case.

 Looking good!
Great project, these blocks with red coolant look really hot :D
Hi Noeru,
EK waterblocks 5970 is really beautiful mechanical parts. With the red liquid cooling the look is magic!
The internal volume of the Obsidian is planned for mother boards in the eATX size, it is thus spacious. The volume needs to be occupied by big GPU cards, so that the case is emphasized.
We say about a car that it is beautiful, when besides the body it also has a beautiful engine (a powerful engine). So when the internal volume of Obsidian (the body) is occupied by big cards, and when they are powerful (the engine), we cannot make better! Aesthetics and power are combined.
What I find it's a pity, it is only in the position ATX inverted that we see waterblocks upward. In the position ATX the aesthetic charm is hidden in a way. It's HARD!
I have already seen in France dogs of the race of Hairu. Thus I knew it was a race, but I did not know the name. "CROUCH, CROUCH" to miss Hairu, sweet little face.
Beautiful blocks.
I am very happy thank you All:)

hilarious how big that 5970 is , even makes a dog look small.. lol
Hi Noeru
I did not say to you anything. I also possess Corsair 800D (that I like). Your remark is very sensible! :)
Things are so made, we cannot always gather all the advantages. He arrives however, that pass right by the perfection without obtaining him...it is sometimes contrary! Especially when we spent many efforts to reach there.
Noeru, I want to make you thanks. I followed your worklog since the beginning, and I have very minutely and for a long time studied the photos which you made of Obsidian. And it is with your help, thanks to you, that I discovered how the case was consu...and I bought it.
I continue to follow all your updates. In particular the improvement consisting in modifying the position of the power supply to install one radiator 120.4 interests me a lot. It is as well the modification as I thought of making.
Very attractive photo of Airu :p:
A dog and a high performance GPU together ... you're in my version of heaven haha!
A small correction : When I wrote "I did not say to you anything", I thought of saying "I did not say everything to you, tell you all my story"!
Before any thing, it is my English which needs perfection!
Thank you all:)
Sorry for my bad English:p:

Beautiful body, and impressive mechanics. Thank you for photos.
Bravo!
the cards come out very nice and the fluid looks good, but the tubes .. will you change these ones? Because they let the nice red glue pink and a little bit misty
Love the colour of the fluid. Suits the build very well!
Hey neoru which is the measurement between bottom & zone division plate (where you have the the XSPC 220 rad)? Could a SR-1 rad could fit standing down there (5.2")?
hi manu_D
Thank you happy:)
hello ipuoL
LED lights for the front, I see a strong pink:shrug:
very very thanks:) BooldyRED is TFC F-1 RED+Purple+Blue mix
Hello Blacky:)
XSPC RX the width 125m / m, HWLabs SR-1 is 153m / m process without entering so is.
Besides I XSPC HWLabs GTX · GTS · SR-1 I did not tried all
The height of the base about 128m / m is.:(
153mm wide SR1 is one for 140mm fans. SR1 for 120mm fans is 133mm wide (but probably too wide anyway).
hi churchy
yes this rad 12cm fan:)

beautiful Nice job!
Noeru
looks great. I want to make some changes to my 800D now.
How much weight your 800D? My not so equipped, but raise it hard enough.
nice job
hey, great computer build. i have the 700D which is very similar and am wondering how did you modify the side panel where all the cables are to improve airflow from there? thank noeru.
Hey, noeru , everything ok ? No answer to my pm , if you were ok after the EQ in JP, so i thought i'd bump this thread...
Hope everything is fine and your build works solid up to now...
Thanks for the encouragement of many
Japan is fine:up:
