Wow, it's amazing what some cool temps can do for these CCB1E. Pretty cold in here right now, idle is about 20C (no coldbug btw at 334htt with ccb1e 0608mpmw). load is 28-30, running prime at 3006@1.375v.. it would always bsod here in warmer temps. Man, if I had a waterchiller to keep water at a constant 15C, I'd be set :D

i have to have 2x120mm on my tunic to get temps like that @ 1.55v 2.8ghzQuote:

dang, i wanna build a custom wc kit now. i want 3 GHz out of my 170. i can do 2.8 @ 1.5v all day long, but 2850 is so hard to achieve for some reason.
45c load at all times too.
Hey blazin how goes it?!Quote:

hey mastacator. i see you hang out here as well :D
core 1 is the weaker one for my opty. i can prime up to 2.9 or so on core 0, but 1 is a real slacker. no time to burn it in now because i have to pack up my desktop to move home at the end of the semester. just using the laptop for the next week or so.
yeah, my core 0 is the weaker one, but wow, 42*c idle!!??Quote:

Yeah, I stumbled on to the site while researching this opty stepping.Quote:

So how,s East Lansing right now? I presume you going to MSU? I spent a few years in Michigan, 6 months in east lansing actually. Should be pretty nice this time of year.
I know, the idle started going up when the voltage was put to it, I think I am going to reseat my HS and probably check my PWMIC HS contact with the mosfets.Quote:

well, after a few more days, i've had some trouble keeping it stable between 2900 and 2950. it definatly has to do with heat issues. i left the window open last night, it was 35F outside, and my load temps were like 43c @ 2950 @ 1.5v, primed all night, i shut the window in the morning and 20 minutes later it failed.
sold mine. ordered another one ill keep yall updated on what comes.
Friends for the 3 Gig Dualprimestable you need 1,35Vc at 2800mhz.
No chance to get 3 Gig with water if you need mor than 1,4Vc for 2800Mhz.
I get the 2.8 w/1.4 I can boot & run all kind of apps & games @ 3ghz but prime fails instantly on any voltage 1.4-1.55v. Any suggestions?Quote:

updated the db today if you want to check it out
haha, if by nice you mean all the short skirts and short shorts are coming out of their closets then YES. its VERY nice, lol.Quote:

Ha Exactly!!Quote:

So I jumped on the bandwagon and bought from monarch last week. Hopeing to get a CCBBE 0610 stepping, should be here today.Quote:

I'm pretty sure this holds the record for "closest two cores as far as ocing is concerned"

I think that record goes to Clint. He can't even get his cpu to make a core fail. It'll just freeze or reboot instead. Each of his cores are identical. It's really frightening.Quote:

What do you think?
Should I put it in and give it a run?
