wow, mine rev 1.1  :shakes:
weird all my runs are on a rev 1.1 UD3R, with Pi 9600's and my Q9650 at 500X9
yeah G but R not P im telling to stay away form P45 UD3P 1.1
my tests with ma friends where that the PIS would ONLY run on 2,05A divider wich is HELL for MCH so you pumped all and corrupt OS many times...and 2,40B was total unstable...but on my UD3P 1.0 all worked fine and 2,05 same crap. I have lots of friends with this problem and 3 on this forum.
cheers !

whats the best bios for a EP45-UD3R rev 1.0 board right now?
yea i cant remeber which one i used on my older UD3R 1.0?and now i got another one
and would like to know if the new ones bring anything worth flashing to the table.
i think i used F6 on my last UD3R 1.0.also have a 1.1 UD3R on the way.
I have f9 on my UD3R v 1.1 and I too was also wondering what the best bios would be?
has anyone else encountered this problem/
when you disable the advance cpu features(eist speedstep)
the board will endlessly reboot until you turn the PSU off
and have to turn the PSU back on restart to get it to boot?
it did this with my last UD3R and my third UD3P.every time
i disable speedstep,eist(even at stock setting)endless reboot.
Never had that myself mate, only if settings were too adventurous, but EIST & speedstep should offer more stability. Perhaps a re-seat of the CPU and clean of the pads?
I'm going to be moving to a bigger place soon, and finally have a room dedicated to my gadgets! This means I might well set up a little benching station and get my USB3P fired up again after I'm settled in a few months.
its not a big deal, after i load optimized defaults and reboot
then turn off the advance features,i just turn the PSU off before
it even goes into the reboot(because i know its coming)now.
EDIT:i tried turning them off individually, its seems that its actually
Virtualization Technology when disabled or enabled that causes it.
could someone try loading optimized defaults and the rebooting into
the bios and disable Virtualization Technology and see what happens?
thanks
HI all ,
i got E6750 G0 overclocked to 3.424Ghz stable core volt set in the bios 1.3625V cpu-z shown 1.328 volt bus speed is 428mhz
using a giga P45-ep45-Ud3lr MB .
using 2 x 2gb ocz ati crossfire rams 800mhz
ram timing is 5-5-5-18 running 1:1
using thermalright VX with scythe s-flex G to cool down.
how high am i able to overclock even more ? with what suitable core volt and the bus speed.
Thanks
I'm thinking about buying a brand new Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P Rev1.6 for $120. from a individual not from a store the guy says he bought it less then a year go and will give me a copy of the sales slip.
Does anyone know if Gigabyte will warranty the board for me if i have any issues with the Rev.1.6 being that I bought it from a third party and not direct from a store ?
Also are people still having problems with the Rev.1.6 or is there a know issue that was resolved ?
warr shouldn't be an issue at all.
i have a 1.6 and it's fine. some say the rev 1.0 and 1.1 OC memory better.
NoGuru,very nice.i need to get a decent chip.ive got two UD3R's
a 1.0 and 1.1,and two UD3P's both 1.1's and i need another chip to determine which
board is the best(hard to do with only one chip).especially when the cpu isnt great
to start with.i need a gem:D
yep same here, except havent tried any 1.6 boards yet.
not really trying to find an answer to the question of which
is better 1.0 vs 1.1 vs 1.6.im just trying to find the best
two boards to keep for my OCing fun:D
i will use the exact main components
like ram/psu/cpu/HD/cooling.i just need
to put in the tweaking time to get the
best results from each board.
so no i have 2xUD3R's 1x1.0 and 1x1.1
3xUD3P's 1x1.0 and 2x1.1's
i plan on keeping one UD3P and one UD3R
