Very nice. Send them to me for some 'testing' hehe :D
Sweet rig sergio
Yeah, I think it is coming back from RMA.
Nice Serg, I will hit you up on MSN Sunday night.
Did a little run last night http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1343901
Been having a few problem of late with my UD3P board (v1.1) running Win7 x64 with periodic but random freezes that would last about 1-2 mins before bursting back in to life. Really annoying and tried lots of things, but it seemed to happen at times when the hard drives were especially busy. Anyway, I installed the latest JMicron SATA drivers (later versions than the ones on the Gigabyte site) and the problem has gone away.
Noted following fix in the release notes "Windows will freeze when device remains busy abnormally (by LeCroy Infusion and a hammer)."

Just sharing in case anyone else has the same problem.
hey flint did you notice any performance gains , a lot of us here like to use that controller for performance data drives especially like mr andressergio running three spinpoints in a raid setup :DQuote:

Just seeking some help to understand my UD3P and Q9650. Here is some of my overclocking result so far:
Ambient 28C
http://img651.imageshack.us/img651/5284/28cb.jpg
My current setting:
Cpu vCore: 1.30625v
CPU termination: 1.2v
CPU reference: .760v
MCH: 1.28v
and the rest are values correspond to the stock voltage.
Question 1: In the BIOS it is 1.30625vCore, but under linx usually load at 1.200v/1.216v mostly why such huge Vdroop (LLC disabled). I am kind of scared to use LLC since Anandtech kill their QX9650 by enabling LLC.
Question 2: Weird scenario is that whether I change the CPU termination voltage I can't boot without restarting a few times then in the MIT screen said "unstable due to overclocking" something along those lines.
Thanks for helping me understanding this motherboard.
So, you are saying every time I go into the BIOS I must set the CPU termination to 1.2 then tune other setting? If I change the termination to 1.3V to get stability at higher frequency how would I do so? Sorry for asking repetitive questions and thanks for the help so far.
heres a little guide i made, might help you understand how it works.
but use the values l0ud_sil3nc3 said to use(.785/.800)

same happens to me i run all day a night 9 x 450 4050 , i can even run 200b with a divider and do 4250 ...but my board no matter what voltages will not do 1.1 8 x 500 tried 3 different rams ? what version you have let me guess a 1.1Quote:
I'm having a brain fart here from lack of sleep, but this is what I'm running into.....I have my EP45C-UD3R and E8500 at 9.5 x 400 for my safe 24/7 right now. Still trying to tweak bios settings for my 4.0 - 4.25 GHz. This is where the brain fart comes in...when shooting for 4 GHz (8x500) I get BSOD upon booting...That's a Vcore thing right?
Thanks for the help everyone, right now got no plan to push it further probably in the winter when the weather gets cooler I hope to break 20k under 3Dmark06, currently top out around 195xx.
lowered some volts, namely vdimm and vcore, looking good so far. . .
