From all the reviews i have seen it is nearly the best efficiency wise & thats why i have the 800 & 1200.
I own the 550W psu (no big gfx requirements here) and had a Zalman 500W PSU before which was more efficient (always over 80%). With the Odin i get a lower efficiency at low usage (~100W). I measured the consumption on the wall with an normal power meter and on psu with the p-state software.
I have been playing some more & have found out on my set-up that
CPU Host/HTT Adjustment Gap 1mhz gives more stable overclocks.
2mhz wont get into windows at same OC & 3 gets into windows but BSOD soon after.
aaaahahaha nice finding i'll test when my boards back (arrived in Rotterdam today ;) )
Got my hands on an 5600+ (G2, 2.9GHz, 65W, locked).

Max I could reach was 3.472GHz/1.5125V anything above does not boot into windows no matter what voltage.

Testing how far the chip goes at stock voltage (1.325V) now.

This failed after a few minutes prime95.
EDIT: 14x228MHz = 3192MHz @ 1.325V
@final8ty: Can be the bigger Odin PSU's are better efficiency wise.
Strange things happen on the memory side here. First my CB Tracers work again. I tried em in an 690G barebone with an 5600+ X2 and they worked. I moved em to the Sapphire/9950 system and they also work now. I tried this a few weeks ago and the system has very unstable and did post every now and then.
Today I threw in my G-Skill 6400CL4D-2GBHK's. By accident I selected 1066 mode in the bios. Strange but true that works fine with just 2.12V.

I had no problem with the 800GT at 1,6Vcore but if i went more than that it would shut down when benching prime & you would also take into account that amount of other hardware that its running
6=harddrives 4=casefans 1=waterpump 2=dvd 3=OC gfx cards 8GB of ram 1=Xfi pro soundcard 1=TV card.
Finally got my hand on a HD4850
Spider Platform is back and it's great for gaming !
I think i posted it in the old thread by a mistake..
but now here ;)
since monday my board is back and its simply better then before... best two things: shipping from rotterdam/netherlands to me/germany was awfully fast: the board left dfi at friday afternoon AND IT ARRIVED MONDAY MORNING WTF
and dfi support told me that they could not do anything about the nb fan header, it simply is not supposed to be controllable... FALSE! THE BOARD ARRIVED AND THE NB FAN HEADER IS FULLY CONTROLLABLE NOW CONTROLLING MY NEWLY INSTALLED PWM FAN
i just setup a system with the dk-m2rs in everest when i look at the bios info it says "evaluation bios not for resale" what is that and why does it say that?
Mine does too on my M2R.
it's the 5/5/08 bios.
I wouldnt worry about it.....

these guys have watercooling for the m2rs and even m2r.
for the m2r pwm008 must be used (same as DFI t2r-boards) without cpl-cooling-plate.
its all german but they speak english of course..
i'll order a m2r set and post pics ;) whole set is about 100€ + shipping..
http://www.abload.de/thumb/34ghzprimer0y.jpg
i cannot get it stable... just rebootet after 2:41h.. maybe its the psu..
its the m2rs. m2r is basicly the m2rs set + p45-t2r pwm-cooler (without a plate that cools the vitec-chips..) I'm also looking forward to that set, but it will take some more time as these things are custom built to order more or less..
i think really my psu is limiting me.. so :banana::banana::banana:*** crazy that power meter showed 447w under prime. thats hard at the boarderline of my psu. it has 4x18A 12V, 48A combined. that is max 566w 12v. but, on the two cpu-lanes it is max 36A that means 436w, so theres not much headroom left. the board and grafics card take ~80w so i had 367w on the cpu thats unbelievable. no wonder it is not stable for 3h
or it is the pwm-section.. perhaps it will work with watercooling..
on the other hand, no game i play or thing i do needs that rare power.. its just nice to compete with the sb750 boards :D
http://www.abload.de/thumb/russmark33ghz1200mhz2ln.jpg
look on how this board is capable to do 300x11 easily!! all voltages @ stock, except cpu/nb/ram.. (1,425/1,425/2,24v) absolutely amazing..
whatever 3,4ghz isnt possible at these settings (300x11,5). The more voltage, the earlier it will shutdown. Its really the psu. but i wont upgrade as noone needs 3,4 phenom-ghz, only for benches and oc-lists :D
great clocks:)
2.8 eventually started freezing too:( 2.7-2.75 seems to be about it. what horrible luck....
i can feel you.. i cannot get these clocks stable too..
i think i may have it. pci-e to 8x, cpu/htt gap to 1mhz, and 1.16 pci-e volt. sitting at 2.9ghz all day while i was at work and no freezes so far (knock on wood). 1.33(idle), 1.34(load) vcore. hopefully it will last. dont play games, so dont mind pci-e lane being at 8x.
edit: ah well spoke to soon. it froze. will try some more combinations out and report back if anything cures it.
