Are the timings those in your sig ? I think you might wanna try to loosen that "22" and make it 25-26 or a little bit more to reach 1066Mhz...I'm using 4 sticks of 2GB at 1066MHz also, but 5-5-5-15-26 and runs just fine...At 25 i had rare bsods, so i changed it...Quote:

if your ram can do 1066 go into bios goto ram setting set it to manual 1066 2t enabled auto for timings till you see if your ram is capable. then you can tighten them up to like 5-5-5-12-28 @ 1066 check your ram for voltage at that speed.

select AHCI in bios or should i run in on the marvell chip or sb600 chip?

whats steps should i take before install Win7?
ie. firmware update and aligning drive?
Set AHCI on SB600, align, install using raid driver disk from ASUS site and then force to install latest Raid driver from AMD.
You can also increase your SB voltage a bit (up to 1.25) to get proper performance.
