Didn't we find out that FPU score counts way more than Integer a while back?

BOINC 5.10.45, and yep its 10.5.6
Maybie i should kill a core and fold on the 8800gt as well?
This thing is a epic folder. I dont notice its happening in the background, and i can fold 24/7 at 3.2ghz and the cores never go above 34ºC, keeping the fans spinning at 1k. Its practically silent. The HDD's are significantly louder.
I stopped folding on the rig in my sig due to my GPU being on fire 24/7, and my CPU runs quite warm at 100% load, and the fans ramped all the way up are very loud for 24/7 use. But the MacPro is a great folder. And if it breaks... I got a 3 year warranty! YEY STEVE!
Maybie ill try folding on the new i7 rig...
Some numbers from my :banana::banana::banana::banana:ty i7 920 at 4Ghz (211x19), HT enabled:
FPU: 3627
Integer: 12388
BOINC 6.3.21 Beta, XSOS 08 (Win Server 08 x64)
D_A, remember I am on phase here. So yeah that is pretty :banana::banana::banana:ty - my Q6600 did more mhz at less Vcore :p: :shakes:
195x21=4,1Ghz for comparison:
FPU: 3736
Integer: 12748
Rest same as above.
Just for :banana::banana::banana:s and giggles, I benched 4,4Ghz w/o HT and got:
FPU: 4421
Integer: 13217
While I'm at it, I installed 6.5.0 on the i7, 21x195 again:
FPU: 3787
Integer: 12762
So it seems to be faster than my old client!
Yeah, 6.5 faster here.
Thanks guys
Just wait till my XP-M finishes installing XP.. I just took it out of the dust corner and am in for some benching :D
Man how I loved that rig, with several HW changes I had that one as my main rig from early 2001 until late 06

:ROTF:
Methinks someone's cable management skills have improved.
Damn, you already oc'd the cdrom drive too :ROTF:
Pfff.. this trusty rig never knew the meaning of that word, "cable management" - I am not gonna shock it by introducing something new in its late days :D
At 240x11=2650Mhz, DRAM at 480 2-2-2-11 DUal Channel not quite as good a clocker as I remember it to be, but still - 38s SuperPi 1M :D
Now on to BOINC install...
Ok DA, here you go:

If this ancient rig doesn't still kick some serious butt I don't know what does :D On XP Pro SP3
BOINC manager projects 4:30 completion for one HCC WU.. Sounds a bit too good to be true but we'll see.
So that's an XP-M 3000? And is that BOINC 6.5.0?
For some reason I got the idea it was a 2400m
I'm getting 3287/6124 on my X2 6000+ with 2 Gb of OCZ sli 800 mhz memory, on vista. I think the chip has a bunk memory controller as I've tried lowering all settings in the bios and they all point back to the chip seemingly not liking much if any overclock. Bummer. I'll post the Am2+ Quad version when I get it. Then hopfully shorly after my new i7 rig, muwahahahahahhahahah :)
MD.
Windows 7 x64
Q6600@3.6GHz
Boinc 6.4.5
Whets 3424
Dhrys 10660
Boinc 6.5.0
Whets 3445
Dhrys 11072
BTW I must say its purdy and seems snappier than Vista but I betcha it has the same issues with HPP

Scores are low because of slow memory, I could get them higher if I had more time.
I get not found on first screen.
