thanks r00n :toast:
100% in SLOVENIA not in USA because 2 weeks ago D9NHL was reported :(

The HZ are only 5$ cheaper then the crucial pc1000 right now after rebate. It looks like newegg got the sense to make the hz more expensive than the hk. I should have jumped on the HZ when they were 169$ :( i can still here them calling my name haha.
i would get the crucial, but i also live in ca, therefore i pay tax on 240, plus shipping, which totals to about $265 - $50 rebate, so still costs me around $215 shipped. HZ would still be a good amount less and chances are they will run what i need them to run, especially since the next memory multiplier on my ds3 at 2.5x will want the ram to run at 1300, so chances are i will keep it at 2x and i won't notice a difference b/t the g.skill or crucial.

hahaha.. ddr2 prices are going down..
mm.. I'm waiting for ocz flex to go down more.. hahahaha.. :)
I've been hearing that the Buffalo CERTIFIED series uses only D9GMH now. $65.99 on newegg for 1GB...

Only what I've been hearing, will need to get confirmation though.
The RAM used in the pictures that newegg has up for those modules clearly shows Elpida IC's? Then again the pictures are rarely what you actually get?
nope
newegg sells a lot of stuff, would be impossible for them to update every time buffalo switches to a new IC.

just like this photo, fatbody D9? I think not heheh
Thanks Hutch and Kemo, I just grabbed 4 of these for 271$ Shipped. I hope they are decent. Where did you here about them being microns?
I must say, I think the Gskill HK's are the best buy for 24/7 usage. They'll do PC8000 4-4-3-5 with acceptable 24/7 voltage (2.15-2.3V.) To be honest too, I haven't really heard any reports of people killing these sticks either.
Sure you can get the firestix, but remember, you're playing with fire! ;)
What the heck, I thought you had a conformation lol they already shipped.
i am so sorry if any of our posts created any conflict ,,,,, i tried to contact you as soon as possible ,,,,, posted 7 minutes after you ,,, send a PM ,,, added you on the MSN hopefully you will show up ,,, the only thing i forgot to do is to mail you :slapass: ,,,,,,,,,,, i am so sorry
Good going kemo6600, poor TeRm probably just bought 4 kits of Elpida based modules because of your suggestions, lol! Of course I'm just joking around guys, it was an easy misunderstanding! In anycase TeRm even if their not Micron based modules they might clock very well but I'm hoping thier GMH because that would be a great buy! Can't wait to hear what they end up being and how well they clock! I hope you'll keep us posted?
What is the cheapest D9GMH right now?
I just got my 6400hz g.skill in today, they have the black pcb, not sure if that matters, but they seem to be great so far.
I was running 4-4-4-4 @ 1040 with 2.3 v, but i did some reading and i am afraid to run any more than 2.2v to them if it is going to start making them worse at oc'ing and not make them as stable after some time.
they are great but not suitable for all XS people , you know we love to bench
HZ is a better clocker ,, the HK are the best for lower voltage 24/7 use and like Hutch said there is lower rate of death
i did my best ,,,,, hopefully you are lucky guy ,,,, GMH in a sea of Elpida
i need your opinion on this ,,,,, did i posted anything that indicates that i do have confirmation
Buffalo Firestix however the best thing to do if you are on budget is to get the G.Skill PC6400HZ (slightly more expensive but better quality and support )
the Black PCB was newly introduced on the HZ ,,, better or not , i don't know ,,,,,,,,,,,, you are talking about ram degrading over time ,, yes it sometimes happen so 2.2V will keep you safe or just add a small fan to cool the memory and give it 2.3V
i have an antec spot cool fan that blows a good amount of air, if i put that over the memory, that would probably help, but does that actually help out a good enough amount in decreasing ram from degrading with the extra .1v?
thanks for the reply kemo.
4-4-4-x was not stable with 2.2v in memtest
i got 5-4-4-12 stable with 2.2v in memtest at 1040, i could probably get that 12 lower but for now i am good, ill play with it some more tomorrow maybe.
He probably interpreted your post with four times 'Confirmation' as a confirmation. ;)
G.Skill 6400HZ with black PCB = Crucial Ballistix with flashed SPD.Quote:
