as you can see, foam is wedged between the pexi and side

Every section you see with foam comprosed of 3 layers
1. Silicone adhesive which very easy to remove
2. Neoprene sheets for adding mass and make easy clean up if I remove the foam
3. Either I use Sonex Acoustic (melamine foam, white) or Some inexpensive cellous foam (sponge, commonly found in black) you can get from any computer shop

You should call that rig "Thermalright City". I have never seen more thermalright products in any one computer in my life.
Thats crazy
Heres mine, i plan on getting a stacker one of these days. This case just isn't big enough for me..
http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s...1/DSCF2393.jpg
I have a front and side intake fan, on load, i think it gets toasty in there
Nope, only G80
Mount it today, looks great
http://www.abload.de/img/acceleroxtreme8-d0vn.jpg
how loud is it?
Rather similar as the stock cooler
Is there anywhere I can see all your photos Tommy? :D
You mean a gallery? No, i'm sorry :(

First time i have ever taken pictures of my rig =P. i used to have crossfire but i decided i needed the money to pay for this semester >.< lol... well, here we go

This is my first build ever and so far i have loved this case, small and compact midtower and i have made alot of changes to it... i added a Kama Bay intake fan on the front (takes up 3 3.5" bays) and also bought new plexiglass and laser etched my own design and initials onto it. (HB3... guuess what it is =P) i also made that thermaltake front knob out of a back mounted setup (controls the front intake fan) and you might have noticed... the powersupply isnt always green.. a button on the back can change it from green/blue/red/mix/none) tell me what you guys think! =P

forgot a pic >.<
why they make new cooler and doesnt fit new gfx? doesnt make sense to me.
How it was before some mods and new hardware...
Instead of 4x80mm fans, now it has 2x120mm at the front + 2x92mm at the back, all of them connected to the front panel switch - 5v/12v. No uv lights anymore, the inversor doesn't work anymore and i'm not buying one for the price they're asking for, here.

People use 92MM fans on their HR-03's?
Oh. I always though people used 120mm, since they fit with the stock clips and all.
Anyway, I took the mesh off my window and put my San Ace in.

@IKIKUINTHENUTZ
I find your VGA cooling rather strange, you have a backside cooler on the top card but non on the bottom ( space issue ) and also have a better mosfter cooler on the top card and none on the bottom ( space issue again )
@IKIKUINTHENUTZ
what are the temps like for 2 passive HR-03 GT in crossfire ?
I was wondering the same thing, the lower card must not like it.
:ROTF: Oh man some people are refering my bottom card as the top and top as bottom but some consider my picture backwards while some knows it's the case that makes it inverted. Ill just refer to my "bottom card" with the HR-03 GT, HR-09 and HR-11 as #1 and the other one with only the HR-03 R600 but right next to 2 exaust sharkloon fans (it's not a HR-03 GT :yepp: ) as #2
More pics
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...postcount=2501
Both cards in Crossfire, results recorded using ATi Catalyst in OverdriveTM sub menu, MX-2 were used as the TIM during the mounting of the aftermarket HR-03 coolers
Both card's clock speeds are
Core: 800
mem: 1170
Ambient 22c
Idel
#1: 43c
#2: 36c
Load
Results Recorded during the 30 mins of crysis game play by average
#1: 71
#2: 51
Im trying to replace the side panel for one with side exaust to furthur reduce tempatures
Thanks. 71 on passive isn't that bad. I can't tell thermalright 6 heatpipe gpu coolers apart my bad.
rofl no one can, the base and accesories are different which are never showned or told in pictures
they are the same thing basically when the mounting system is identical
just different ram sinks ;)
The HR-03 R600 cut out base can fit over the G92 and 3870 dies just fine. I got it because it was only 22$ at coolerguys in a one day sale, I didnt want to pay another $50 :D
so why are you giving more cooling on the other card ?
Here are some crappy pics of my rig:

^^ How do you like your Neo2-FR?
@BuBBle.D with all those noctua fans i thought you would get a noctua heatsink.
@su3_zero wow stock cooler & akasa fans.
wasn't the shin-etsu pads on it good enough ? and doesn't lapping the cooler void the warranty ? sorry but how hot is rio de janeiro right now ? your english is fine man seen worse.
Today here, the temp is about 35º, but last week temp has gone up to 39º.
I don't know if lapping the cooler void the warranty, i hope that i don't need to use warranty...
The Shin-etsu pad is the Box cooler pad??
I'm thinking about buying a thermalright 120, but Here in brazil it's so expensive, R$ 250,00 + - U$ 125,00
yeah the intel box stock cooler comes with shin-etsu pad as thermal paste.
wow you ambient temps are as good as mine are.
Don't worry about it. From the way i used my E6600 i'm sure the E6750 will last longer.
You're right it's expensive now. It wasn't when it just came out. Due to the numerous good reviews the price has sky rocketed. Try looking at the Xilence heatsink they are reviewing. Cost less if available in brazil.
I changed the original pad, because i remove the heatsink to clean it better...
I'll look for that heatsink, but i think it's not available here....

@Tommy: any pics inside the case & temps on that AC Accelero Extreme?

alexey, how many wars has that case been through? The paint job's certainly seen better days ... ;)
Things are looking pretty good
guys, is the AC Accelero S1 better than the Zalman VF1000?
I can say that Accelero S1 is well paired with HR-03 in performance
Hey guys just wanted to share with you what ive recently done with my old Lian Li case..
http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j1...337/holes2.jpg
Both holes cut where cut with a dremel then sanded down for a smoother finish, I then got hold of some rubber window edging from work and placed that around the rough cuts for a better finish.
http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j1...337/holes1.jpg
http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j1...incaseshot.jpg
View from inside and under the case.
http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j1...337/holes3.jpg
With the grills, rubber spacers, and screws in place ready for the fans to be mounted.
http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j1...holesfans2.jpg
http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j1.../holesfans.jpg
Viola! done and ready.
http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j1...t-withfans.jpg
http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j1...vedsupport.jpg
I also removed the support bracket that originally looked like an X-shape that was slightly obstructing airflow. Now removed with the dremel it makes the hole look a bit more cleaner. Sorry I didnt get a before and after pic of this.
http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j1...cable-hole.jpg
Also now a hole has been cut for the PSU cables to be fed through to the back of the mobo tray to aid cable management.
http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j1...able-hole2.jpg
With the edging..
That's pretty much it, its not much, and it was my first attempt at cutting a drilling into a computer case and I thought it has turned out really well.
Thanks taylor for the helpful assistance and the use of your dremel :P <3
peace out.
nice job haggard
Dont forget to take pics with your system up & running after the cabble management!
@HaGGaRd: are those top fans intakes or exhausts?
great job
Upgraded the cooling on my Server Rig Videocard..

Intakes :p: :p:
Hey man, well I got hold of mine at a caravan center :P, try finding a place similar, or go to a DIY store that sells windows and try asking for some rubber window edging, should cost you less than a dollar per metre! (Cost me 69p per metre) It works great for me.
Let me know if you ever get hold of any.
Brian, your Antec 900 has ventilation holes and not the 2 rubber inlets for water cooling tubes? :o

nice work haggard...
Further upgraded my cooling with more sexy Thermalright stuff.
After my HR-03 plus I bought a TRUE 120. On this i installed a Scythe s-flex fan @1600RPM. This morning I remounted the cooler with the well known washer mod, removed my old tuniq tower backplate
( I couldn't get them off without good pliers), and installed a second s-flex. Also installed the low version of the HR-07 for my memory to pimp it up :P.
I must say i really like the result, also temps of CPU went down another 6 degrees celsius.

Let me know what you think.
check your trade pluming or electrical store for edging & heatshrink .... these things were being used in these industries well before it entered the PC market
I have enough of that laying around, just dont have the right tool to disconnect the cables from the pci-e connectors. If you tell me how to do that I'll put some heatshrinks on it right away.
The incredible shots of Tommy strike again :D
Very nice rig, even if I am not a fan of TR ;)
Hey Tommy.
How are you liking Noctua?
Very nice cooler, excellent quality and good performance :)
Tommy, About how much temp drop do you get from that VGA backside cooler?
