Wow some nice runs guys. Congrats on the 5 GHz Serg!
hi
what is the clockgenerator for ep45t-usb3p?
thanks
thanks hoss & andre ..i'll try that
andre you have the board.....please check :D thanks
Serg's right - think either the chip or the option on setfsb ends in 'EKLF'.
I managed a 10min22.2 sec PI32 run at 4.86GHz/1440 6-7-6-18 PL8 earlier today, was hoping for a little better, particularly as I managed the lat run at 4.91GHz on the UD3P. When it cools, I'll have another go, perhaps at different ram ratios like some of you.
Serg, that's gonna be a sweet 24/7 system, nice work ;)
Those Gskill ecos aren't bad at all, I'm priming away nicely at 1920MHz 7-9-7-24, but they do run warm at 1.58v. How much voltage are you giving yours?
Could you post your 4.75GHz settings please mate?
hey influence how are you mate ?
thanks !
I sold the ecos got the PIS 2000CL6 and waiting for 2200 CL8 hypers, just searching the best RAM for me setup
On the UD3P i couldnt do 4750 the way im doing now mem was a limiting factor for a stable system, yes till 5ghz+ for bench, now im searching the best combo, still tweaking it. Remember i have the X3380 im working on 9,5 multi
For Mem im searching the best combination as i need a lot of MCH if i tight timmings at that speed, 1,56MCH for ex, this is my first template im working on it

Sergio
i used the clockgen you mentioned..its not letting me "set" fsb
weird
working perfect for me
i used to move from 500 to 505 to show you
http://img88.imageshack.us/img88/8346/setfsbn.png
ok i check the clockgen just below the vregs for the northbridge..it is ICS9LPRS914EKL
i'll try again..
thanks
Thanks to all of you for the wonderful information, tips and templates, especially Bluestang for his XP ACHI fix. I kinda muffed it the first time, wiped out ntldr and got bad_pool screens in when attempting reformat or recovery. It was a good thing I still had a Win7 RC dvd, since that allowed me to format C painlessly. After the reinstall and final windows update, I made very certain to use Xpress Recovery2 for a primary backup, which has already proven handy.
I got this board after a little over a year of using the slow upgrade path with an Asrock 4CoreDual-Sata2 (Via 880). Once I replaced my 7600GT AGP with a GTS250, all that was left was to change the motherboard (gotta love those quirky Asrock upgrade boards). Got the UD3L last Tuesday (after spending the weekend prior reading every single thread and taking notes) and promptly hit the 370 wall. With some tinkering, and much pouring over five different templates, I was able to sit comfortably at 400.
Below are my settings should they prove useful.
I was able to reach 480 (485 made for a CMOS reset), but the 1:1 memory proved to be mightily unstable, though I'm surprised I even reached that far. 444/888 was do-able, though I kept failing Priority 10 Orthos Blend; just couldn't seem to nail down the proper timings, thanks in large part to the limited divider options for my ram. For the cpu, 3.8 seems to be the top end for me, as anything higher needs a large vcore jump, a bit more than I'm comfortable with on air. After I make another backup, now that all my core programs are installed, I'll probably give it another go.Code:Motherboard: Model: EP45-UD3L Rev#: 1.1 Bios Version: F9

@sergio: Congrats on the healthy birth. I can already tell he's gonna be one handsome devil.
you know it's strange, but my board hates any skews or any pcie express clocks above 100.... when i try to add those to get higher, it won;'t boot
Ah. With skews at stock, I was having issues passing Orthos FFT-8 Pri:10, using VR-Zone's stability guide until I tweaked those a bit when above 460. It was either that or tinker with higher voltage settings. I got the notion from several of the templates I pulled for study.
Skews were a lifesaver for me in getting my Q9550 to stop freezing up everytime.
I think they are at 150/200 right now, haven't had any problems since.
Well I broke down and made a new benching drive for my UD3P
Using BenchZoners ISO's. I used the XP load and just got it running.
thanks BZ!
got to love installing a OS @ -40c :surf:
So here is one of my first run=s
Sergio this budz for you :stick:
