if you order twinmos PC3200 and its got the same model number but not the same product code as the picture, its still the same product, so that wont work.

With 3.2V they run fine at 215FSB with 2-2-2-5-7-12 settings, but after that it´s xtremely unstable even if I raise voltage up to 3.6V.

Maybe I should try with some nForce3 board, but these sticks are still a big disappointment. Hope you other guys get better sticks than I did.

Needless to say, but BH-5 is still number one.

try 2-2-2-10-14-16 1T just to start out. or leave everything at auto after tras. That seems really crappy. is this 2 sticks or 1? just try 1 stick for now. could be 1 bad stick. all it takes is one bad apple to spoil the bunch in dual channel.

2-3-2-6 maybe?

Tried both sticks one by one and loosed some timings, but it didn´t gain much :(

does it have the dimples on the chips so your sure they are winbond?

Had this reply from tekheads re the codes on their TwinMos modules

It doesnt say which modules these chips are on though...

As I've already said, I got this info from tekheds with regard to the single pc3200 modules...

Which suggests the 256mb are good, 512 aren't - your info backs that up with the TMD/TTD. Will let you know what they're like when they arrive (have ordered 2x256).

Sorry to hear that mate, im thinking we uk guys should wait for speed premimum to hit these shores, otherwsie it seems like a hit or miss.

Alternatively i will be getting up early to check out the computer fair tomorrow as they always have twinmos ram there, anything but twinmos. heh he heh.

X-Gen at post #271 posted that his were just like the ones in the pictures and his were TTD, but they had the "-50" after the date codes.

Man, I don't know if there is any pattern here or simply, as the OCZ guys said in some of the earlier VX discussions, they don't all pass the testing. We may simply have a case of our own "speed binning" going on. Some chips do well, others don't.

The only ones that seem to be "sure things" right now are the 256MB PC3200 TwinMOS Speed Premium with the AA4T sticker codes and the date code on the ram ending with a 4, plus the "44D" speed rating on the chips. All of these seem to be doing well.

TwinMOS is probably binning these wouldn't you think?

The link to that doesn't exist, where did that link come from whoever posted it? Kompletts link still leads here (product code is 1 less) and there is still no mention of ch-5 chips there (yes I know they are though). Price has also gone up... by... wait for it... A PENNY
