i am fighting for 2900 32m

prime 4,5GHz @ 1,16V

5GHz 32m boot 1,4V, can run @ 1,37V 2/2
3570K 3221C048
Prime about the same, 4,5GHz @ 1,16V:

IMC stable for 24/7 DDR3-2400 easy, nothing further tested atm.
All with watercooling.
Heres a mild overclock of my 3770k 4.7ghz 1.136v stable on prime 95 6 hours gonna see if i can push it to 5Ghz
batch: 3226c459 anyone else have this batch?
http://i1050.photobucket.com/albums/s414/tpwilko/47.png
very nice chip,surely u can reach 5 ghz...what mobo?
@tpwilko: What have you tested vcore with? Or just vcore to boot? I like Cinebench for a rough estimate, or vcore to boot and run spi 32m at 5ghz.
EDIT: Sorry, haven't slept well and I missed the prime95 run... :p Congrats! Hope it will continue to climb up once pushed properly and on cold. :D
...and how's the imc?
based on my experience with ivy's i would say that chip can do 5 ghz prime stable in 1.28-1.35 range.Awaiting updates from tpwilko :D
My 3700k survived the delidding surgery despite my scoring of the PCB with my X-Acto knife and exposing some yellow metal.
Die Liquid Pro, IHS MX-4, resealed with Alumina thermal bonding compound.
Highest difference 21c drop, lowest difference 15c drop, after 1 hour of Prime95.

Not afraid of the big bad wolf anymore ;)...I would have never run IBT before with a highly overclocked 3770k on air cooling!

Not even 70c on mid-high range air on a 4.8ghz 3770k on max settings!

Different L3231B415, delidded, liquid pro, resealed with alumina.
Weird weak IMC - will not boot 2133 - highest boot 1866 on P67 and Z68.
Inferior air cooler (Prolimatech Armageddon) - would have definitely been under 80c with Venoumous-X, and low 70's with NH-D14 or H80i.

Just received a 3240C354, have not seen this yet will test later after the others.
Some quick tests with 3231B442
what a chip, stock vccsa and vccio, vdimm 1.65v
http://i.imgur.com/5HAkeCB.jpg
I tried 4x4 and it does not pass with exact settings as 2x4, also 55 at 2933, but I did not try any additional vdimm, think this might be a good one for cold:)
^also no waza on the above runs so it might need a bit more vcore with the added stress.
Even so loud 4/8 @ 1.256v 2800 looks v good mate
Batch 3240C292 maybe here, U can help me a little about mine problem...
Thank's in advance!
I have quoted from mine other mesage:
"Hi all!
I have ASRock Z77 Extreme 6, now using 2x2Gb G.Skill PI series, official are 2200Mhz/7.10.10.28/1,65Vdram, as seen in cpu-z windows.
http://s19.postimage.org/4ju7qype7/System.jpg
http://s19.postimage.org/ev6kjmh3j/System_Idle.jpg
From as I know, those mems are capable of more than 2400-2600Mhz with relaxed latencies, but on mine unit, doesn't want more than 2200Mhz, rarely boot into 2400Mhz, with 8 or 9 CL, 2 from 5 tryies, on AUTO SPD or manual set SPD....
Once I saw booted at 2400Mhz with CL7 at 1,74Vdram, but just one time...
I tryied with more voltage, even at Vdram, even also at Cpu, VTT, Vccsa, etc, no succees for booting, always restarts with cpu at 3500Mhz and default ram of 1333Mhz.
Cpu looks promising, as I get full stability for 4800Mhz at 1,24 vcore in bios on LLC1, 1,248-1,255 showed by cpuZ in full load on Prime large FFT , LinX, etc.
Could be a bad (poor) IMC on that chip?
Can U advice me for some settings to reach more than 2200Mhz with that MB wich officialy is capable of 2800Mhz for ram?
I bought those ram too:
http://s19.postimage.org/k800bhudr/DSCN6732.jpg
and not even at 2400Mhz, no booting, tried also XMP1,3 (official specs), on XMP or manual SPD setting, nothing...
On other computers, ram was achieved 2900+ Mhz, and at me, not even 2400...
What is wrong?"
EDIT:
I have decided to lower 100Mhz and 40mVolts, and use 24/7 like here:
http://s19.postimage.org/ubtble0i7/During.jpg
http://s19.postimage.org/p1ocu3g9b/Done.jpg
I had once a 3570k that was limited at 2500Mhz by IMC, but at leat it did 2400, 100% stable.
You should try the cpu+mem on another motheboard , Asus recomended to see what happens.
Z77 Extreme6 has validation on hwbot at 2700+Mhz dual channel so it's hard to say if the motheboard it's defect.
You have some 10-15% chances to have a very poor cpu on IMC.
Have you tryed one module, single channel? Any difference?
Tryed also on Asus P8-Z77-V-Pro Thunderbolt, same situation.
Also tested in one stick, same...
On asus ,I cannot adjust multiplier above 35, but under, it works after updaing last version of bios , available on site...
Is a 3770K cpu...
DjLeco
try "internal PLL overvoltage" enable
Thank you, I will try.
Is possible to be disabled in bios, not checked...
Also, other voltages?
Vtt=?
Vpch=?
Vccsa=?
Hello.
Anyone have some info about an 3770k Malay Batch: L221B054
