No thats PL8. Thats what I was meaning earlier, PL7 itself was not really stable enough to be used and would only set sometimes and not much past 500fsb. All bios after F1 will not set PL7 at ~500fsb, its only on F1 that it sometimes works.Quote:

I have been thinking about a northbridge cooling solution, and what's involved in removing the blue top that covers it (the northbridge).
I'm told that it's just attached with double-sided tape, so the question is, would I void the warranty if I removed it?
Has anyone else removed it, and were the results good or bad?
Also, my Scythe Kaze Master Fan Controller has 4-temperature sensor/probes that I never used, could one of them be used with the northbridge, and if so, how should it be applied?
Any thoughts on this, positive or negative are welcome.

Static t read is the performance level, set it to 8 to start. What vid is your chip?

There are a couple ways to find it, if you have realtemp look in the settings tab.
Yes, quite a bit more if you were on 11. Also if your going in the bios the vid will be listed right next to your vcore setting.

Just noticed you are running 8gb of ram, you may need more mch but try those settings first and see what happens.

and for channel a+b i have no 0.82 setting just 0.810 then 0.830 so i set it o 0.810
