Boulard83 - what did you stick the mosfet heatsink on with? You really want to make sure it doesn't come loose, the fets need good cooling especially when running above stock vgpu. Also you may want to get a decent heatsink on the shader, that little thing you have on there now wont be doing much for your shader temps or clocks.
I installed MORE heatsink that they recommand. I used every single sink they send with this kit on every chip i could.
I can lift the card with a single heatsink. I test each one individually and they are sticked NICELLY !
For the shader .. Thats what they recommand to use ... i agree it could be bigger but this card is 100% stable with these clock/volt. I tested 730/1550/1300 and its ok with 1.26v ( im not V modded ). But i prefer to run with 1.2v and 700/1500/1250. The card perform very well and temps are GREAT !
the yellow circle/red dot to ground no more no less :)
i have only 2 vr's will see tomorrow if i have the chance to get just resistors but this is what i did
solder leg 3 to ground and leg 2 to the red point, that measured before soldering 20k, tried also with 10k, turned a lot and nothing both cases...just cant believe that it wont work like this
try this:
solder leg 1 to leg 2 @ vr
set vr near 20k
solder uni leg to red point
solder leg 3 to ground
OK Napalm i did all, even used other ground point, also re soldered the mod point (the red dot on yellow circle 2) 2 times...no go it just don work on more than 2,12 load :(
i think i will have to forget about it
btw whats smtg ? solder the mod point direct to ground ?
Cheers
Sergio
Has anyone tried this on a gtx280?
the problem with 280 its volted by volterra crap.. runs hotter than hell and limits high clocks/mods
im sorry about it mate.. ma bad.. i apologize
if you want another go @ vmem mod try that vr here at this point
