This temp results are idle with stock V, tomorrow when i finish my lc - i make tests idle/stress :)

And speaking of new supplies, yesterday I ordered some Arctic Cooling MX-2 from NewEgg. The more I read about this stuff, the better it sounds. :)
When my EK NB block arrives, both it and my D-TEK FuZion will now officially be mounted using MX-2 as their TIM.
I figure as much as we spend on our waterblocks, it is almost crazy to not use the finest TIM we can get our hands on. There are one or two other TIM's that might even give a wee bit better performance, but due to them eating aluminum, I ruled them out as something I would want to run in my system.
I am officially a MX-2 guy now.... :)
It looked to be a smart selection.
Check out the OP in this thread too boy's. I am trying to make it as informative as I can. If there are any ideas of what also might be good to add, feel free to suggest it! ;)

You have seen the warning on the MCW30 possibly fitting a bit snug correct?
I would try to order the EK NB block from Petras if I had to do it over again.

Creek Tha Gray seems to have a nice low max load NB temp, going on his EK block. :)
Would love to buy it from petra but it is a no-gop to ship to canada!:(

I would guess the MCW30 would keep your NB a bit cooler that the DangerDen Maze4? ;)

The MCW30 is a tight fit. I just put it on my NB and it will tilt your mounting screws inwards abit. By abit I mean maybe 1mm total. I went ahead and still used it because I had ordered 2 for another MB in the past, and it works fine. Lowered my NB temps by 10*C as most here have said. I wouldn't expect any more cooling from other products. Oh yeah, and nice numbers there for the NB. I am very close to 1.7v for the CPU FSB and NB, @ 470x8. So far it has passed a 5min OCCT load for CPU. Core temps very close to 80*C. My ambient is abit high though at 33*C.
When you get things settled in, report your loaded NB temp and we will get you on the chart ElEctric_EyE! ;)

I can't say for sure on white slot's, but it has come up enouigh times in the other INTEL OC'ing Maximus threads, that I have baught into it, and will be starting out that way myself apon initial fire up...
nowakjan2000, What TIM did you use, AS5? Your lapping looks good BTW. :)
I wan't some more of the boy's running the EK blocks to check in with their loaded NB temps.
We need to see if Creek Tha Gray's 20°C is freakishly low, ;) or close to par for the corce with the EK NB blocks.
