Well done on that white & red themed Lian Li. Down to the window cutouts that match the front of the case... great attention to detail !
anthony8659 where did you get that tag RIG NOOBIES?
Just re-ran my loop, changed the pump position and lots of small changes.

I've been thinking of sanding the tops of the blocks as well as the fan to give it the same frosted look that the rad shroud has, just dont know yet...
had this happen to an EK res and somehow killed only the PCIe power lines of a PSU

so I redid my crappy loop, I think this one came out rather nice

too bad the last pics are blurry... looks clean tho from what i can tell :)

I set the front of my case on a book so it is a few degrees up. It will help the air go towards that direction.

Nice looks, but gpu/cf interconnection is .. i wonder what temps such setup for gpu-s brings :D

I think the big part was the fact that my tube routing was all kinds of stupid. Before I got the EX x-res combo res/pump top i had the old res up against the back wall in front of the expansion slots. The tubing was causing the the res to lean up against the wall with a bit of pressure. It lasted for ~2 years like that.
It's possible that I overtightened the res as well. Should have known as we have field service guys at work that get chewed out for overtightened plastic fittings all the time.
And what he said, looks great.
Personally I've got a 690 in the mail to upgrade the wife to a i7-860 while I wait for my chance to get a 980x

Bye from Italy ;)
Here is my current situation. I just got this case and slowly modding it. The top was already cut for a rad, but my xspc does not fit so I am going to try and figure something out there. That is why my rad is placed to the side right now.
Wire management isn't to par yet, but it will get there when I get the top done.

Its ghetto right now to say the least.
If you keep the top without a radiator, I say get one single black aluminum sheet, and do with it similar to what you have now. I think that's a really cool look. Have it raised like 2mm above the top of the case (like it is) but have it one single piece. File the corners so they aren't sharp, and I think it'll look great like that.
And then that leaves it open for you to add a radiator up there later if you get one to fit.
Yeah that is actually my idea. Those two sheets are from the door actually haha. I took the door off because I didnt really end up liking it on there.
My plan is to either someone get those pieces into one or find a piece and set it on top like that.
Plus when its dark it lets the blue light shine through and looks pretty cool.

Looks good man and I love that Raven such a beautiful and different case. That and the FT02 are probably going to be my next picks in casing.
HuffPCair: don't be hasty with choosing RV02 or FT02 cases for liquid cooling. With these pics you can easily see, how much case dimensions limits internal radiator choices. With some longer gpus even more so. And there is lack of options for more rads to add internally (i see only 1x120 on top or taking out whole 5.25/3.25 enclosures). External rad mount can solve that issue, but will ruin clean looks. No matter how i like FT02, i'd take it only for air cooling :( (as less rads = louder fans for same cooling)

Another 5970 and a second loop for the vgas are comming!!!
I use a Thermochill Pa120.3 radiator in my Raven 2 case, and theres 3 180mm fans under it, and as you see I could fit 2 120mm fans on top of it aswell, I think thats pretty good space for internal cooling.
You could also fit a 120mm radiator at the top, and use the 5.25" space aswell, so theres plenty of room for cooling.
And the graphic cards I use is 2 Nvidia GTX 280 wich is rather long.
And btw, my fans spin at 900rpm.
The CPU is a Core i7 920 @ 4.1Ghz and full load temps is at 65C.
The graphic cards is at 38C in full load (and they run at 768/1537/2520Mhz).
Huttala: 120.3 is what i'd dedicate for o/c-ed i7 only, and how about cooling sli/cf top end gpus then? And top 120.1 rad would get preheated air by bottom rad. And speaking about long gpu-s i meant 5970. 30+ cm. It will almost touch bottom fans without any rad on it. So with 5970 to place rad on bottom one has to remove original 180mm fans and dustfilters + use slim rads (which all happen to be very highfinned, so cool very bad with slow fans, and needs high rpm/noisy fans for adequate cooling).
It's not that one cannot use LC in RV02/FT02, it's just that one is relatively very limited in doing so. And if i buy case with sights on LC, why shouldn't i choose one that's more spatious, where i have to mod case less to fit more rads internal or compromise in cooling less? To not be limited in choosing PC components is feature in itself too (and what i expect from expensive bigtower).
RV02/FT02 "vertical twin" Lili X2000 actually does better for LC. Mostly because it's 5.25 bays/3.5 disk enclosures are placed different. I recall even recent project about fitting 140.4 rad in it.
That pic looks great! Has a nice surreal effect to it.
nice shot scor what kind of coolant or dye did you use?
DocGolem, you need some serious cable and wire management over there ;)
Thank's man :D
Thank You PULSAR, look here

See now your shot makes me want to rethink not using died coolant. :-( I've read that any die or uv coolant can gum up over time. So I was going to go with strickly Distilled water and a kill coil. Now I don't know...........
Looking at PerPCS there are 4 different kinds of the FluidXP Blood Red. :-(

Is that paper over the GPU?
Following his link at the bottom for info on his build brings up this:
I edited the photos out to keep on with the image rules of the thread.
And for Welsh you can always take the cooler apart and paint the cooler itself. I've seen it on a Saphire 5770 here I believe. It was which ever card has the red pinstripe down the center. The guy called it the WHITE KNIGHT. He left the red colors like they were and painted all the black white. Looked awsome. Of course with your theme being black and white.......... Although you do have the zig fan and then the blue lighting so.......
Actually it wasn't here it was Overclock.net and the guys name was "Contagion" I'm sure you can message him and get some photos of it.
ya. it was free.
Guess you don't have a sprayer in the kitchen anymore huh?
 Hell that stuff will probably last longer then any tubing that you can get. It adds a nice touch with the crosshatch pattern. I'm surprised no company markets liquid cooling tubing with crosshatch.
It looks good:up:
maybe  and thank you
I think the ugly card would look better than a cheap piece of paper in the shape of a card. Also if your using a diffrent cards why leave the water-block from the old card in the loop? I would take out the block thats doing nothing and buy a block for the new card. Just because it is not a refrence design there is still a block for it. To me this looks worse than any card you could put in there. Here i did your homework for you.

In the end it is your rig. Just my 2 cents.
Don't quote pictures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ditto. And if anyone would actually pay attention and take more interest in peoples builds by following their links. You would realize that the dude is only 15 and building his 2nd watercooled rig. You would also realize why the loop is still hooked up. :shakes: I wonder if your other 14 posts here are just as ball busting as your 15th.
Quoted pics gone. First off i did read his other thread and it said (on the bottom is one of the GFX card waterblocks..i put it there for two reasons 1)it made tube routing ALLOT easier lol 2)I think it looks kinda cool..like a waterfeature:P) 1) yes it did make tube routing easier but they sell parts and hose for that. 2) O a water feature, Ya i see. The loop is hooked up because it will not work with the cpu block only? I did not know you had to have a gpu block for a water loop to work. And what does the age have to do with it? If you would actually pay attention and take more interest in peoples builds by following their links would know he has a nice build going on so i don't think the age is limiting his build. I wonder if your other posts here are just as stuck as you. I was just adding my opinion on his build. I like his build. I was giving him a hard time as a joke on the block links(Here i did your homework for you.) The blocks are new and not everyone has seen them yet.;) He said the new card was ugly (i didnt realize they stopped making reference cards so the card i got was damn ugly as you will see below) and you would know this by reading his other link/thread. And this was a suggestion on that comment. (I think the ugly card would look better than a cheap piece of paper in the shape of a card.) Cheap may have been a bad choice in words but it was not an insult. So, I don't know you but you must have some issues to jump to a conclusions like that so quickly. Now i see why they said to stay away from here. You guys take things so anal or aleast someone does. Oh and this is post 16 just in case.
haha well no offense taken at all:P
as i said it aint 100% finished yet and I most likely will get waterblock for it in time...
also as stated in worklog the horrible piece of paper is just there as a template really...i will prob try and make some sort of metal or plastic mold to go around it (will certainly look much much better hehe)
thanks for your input though guys :)
Since I've recently finished my project I thoguht I'd stick the pics in here :)

I like how changing that has considerably (at least in my eyes) changed the tube routing and looks.
