Gotcha back bro! LOL I would have used a RTFM smillie, but there isn't one in the smillie database. So I used the next best one. :up:
hmmm I wonder.....
:RTFM:
Well shoot doesn't work even not being in the list. The above coded smillie should be added to the list. :D
Killer Penguin
It's not quite finished as one of my 5870s died but here's where it's at so far. It will also be undergoing a tubing, fitting and block change soon...

whoaaa nice loop!
@converge,
What kind of temperature improvement do you see from having your fans facing two different ways on the same rad?
thanks :D but like i said, still not finished.
Well the 480 is running push/pull on the front half and only pull on the back half due to the psu being directly behind it. I haven't tried alternating the push/pull direction on the front half but I would assume drawing cool air in from outside would perform better.
nice build mate and welcome to XS! good to see you here :up:
wow I onyl saw a few but nice...
Makes me wish my case had a window lol.

@Vlad
That is an...interesting build. :shocked:
Do you own Bitspower stock?
I'm betting the fittings are worth more than the entire thing. Awesome setup though :)
That purple liquid looks soooo sweet Vlad!
wasnt going for the 95 screen saver look, but kinda turn up that way lol
I'm dumbfounded, that's one of the most original builds i've seen in a while, i love it.
90 degree naysayers be damned!
Haha, looks killer Vlad :up:
hi bro vlad.,finally ur rig can be seen here in XS..cheers...
Vlad, awesome rig :eek: show us some more!
just started on wc this year. Hot q6600 go + ifx14 last march, caught the oc bug am now another lost soul lol. wifey even made me pull it out from under desk and put on top in sight. Next step is an ebay ek4870x2 fc nickel ($70 au w p&h).

Purple looks amazing! So many fittings!!! Has to be a new record surely? :p:
~Bex
Seriously though, how much $$ for the fittings? :)
It's how the internet runs. Tubes, a series of Tubes!
Hi guys. Nothing compared to the awesomeness that can be found in here but there ya go :)

the fluid is tfc's..imo the purple kinda jive with the black fitting i guess, was thinking of going either purple or orange...
$$$ wise...hmmm dont have the faintest idea ... them tubes are Bitspower's sli/cf acrylic connectors actually, so almost no normal tubes here, so i guess practically 98% fittings....appreciate y'al comments,...wasnt too sure of posting here, blinded by the awesomeness of y'al rigs..
@Vlad'sAPE
Awesome! BP Madness O_____o
...btw do anyone know from where i can get (in europe) a LGA1366 Bracket for my Zalman ZM-WB5 block?
@Vlad'sAPE
Love it, Please oh please make a build log, or tell me you already have one ;)

koolance 720 rad/res/twin pump on top, black ice 80.2 rad on the back, koolance cpu block, koolance 8800GTX block, danger den 8800GTX block.
Vlad'sAPE that's an AWESOME build!
How is the flow with all the 90's?
the build is not quite finish :(....will take more updated pict soonest once its complete..actually latest, had to swap the sr1 with 2 x 120 tfc's as the sr1 was sucking hot air from the 2nd 59..as for the flow rate, i got 2 koolance flow meter, one for each loop, wasnt too sure on the reading accuracy though, so mainly use it for monitoring and system benchmark. i'd hooked up the meters to the zalman's fan controller and the meter convert the readin from rmp to mLpm...right now, the 1st loop (cpu + D5 + quad rad) is showing around 37++mLpm, and the 2nd loop (mobo + vgas + ddc3.25 + ddc3.25 + 360rad + 120rad + 120rad) is showing around 37++mLpm when one pump off, and around 46++mLpm when 2 pumps are on. havent quite finish bleeding, so the readings might change a bit later on...for the 2nd loop, i only turn both pumps on when benching, and only one pump during normal gaming session..i also have 4 temp sensor that hookep up with the zalman's, 1 for each loop, 1 for inner case ammbience and 1 for the outside case...thats why i'm putting the zalman's iin the case literally, so easy mnitoring through the case window...
I built my computer and water cooled it. I just ordered the new Intel 980X EE CPU and a new board.

@Prava
Looks great man, what is the rear exhaust fan? I need something like that. Would you say the blades are bright white color or more grayish? I bought a Gelid Silent-12 (white blades) but not impressed with it's looks or build quality (plastic feels flimsy).
Vad, your plumbing rig looks awesome! With all those 90º and blocks, i was wondering how many pumps do you have :D Can we have more pics?
@prava can you give more pic. And tell the components of water cooling.:up:
EDIT: Nice photos, supercopa, but please remember the case gallery is for completed systems only, and not multiple shots posted at different times of the same build. You may want to post these most recent shots in the Parts Gallery - or perhaps start a worklog to show all your photos. Thanks, shazza

I discovered the hard way that my Thermochill PA120.3 doesn't use G1/4 threads when I put in my compression fittings.
Also, I'm tempted to get a GPU block for my 5870.
Though I'll probably get a new board first. This one isn't that great (M4A79XTD Evo)
Apokalipse: why not turn pump 90deg in horizontal plane so that it's pointing to cpu block? One 90deg fitting less ..
Also switch rad inlet/outlet and put stright or 45deg rotary for 2nd tube of cpu wb to get rid of last 90deg. Though of course, there is no actual need in such low restriction loop with high flow pump for even more flow .. just my bad habbits to improve things to ideal :D
@supercopa and @ Vlad'sAPE your rigs are MDPC worthy :) let get some submits here
Apokalipso, That's a LEAN looking loop. did I get it right: Y splitter before CPU: = T line and thats it? no res? whatkind of temps you are getting?
That could work. Though rotating the pump would probably be difficult to do.
Mind you, if I get a waterblock for my 5870 it would probably be better to keep the right-angle fitting there.
Yep, just the fillport.
Core Temp reports 30-33ºC idle, but I don't think it uses the right TJmax value for Phenom II's (I think it's about 10ºC too high).Quote:
whatkind of temps you are getting?
:shocked:
YOUR BUILD IS JUST AWESOME! :up: :clap::clap::clap:
You MUST post more pics of your build Vlad'sAPE!! We Want More!! :mad:
:D
EDIT: PLEASE DO NOT QUOTE IMAGES !!!!!
Vlad - may I suggest you start a thread either in the Liquid Cooling Section or the Work log section, so people can ask their questions, and you can show us more photos of your most interesting build as you complete it. Thanks, shazza
Vlad'sAPE! I love what you did there!
Please show us more. I am very interested to find out how you fitted all that rad.
The rear exhaust is a NZXT FN 120mm fan. I was really surprised because its darn cheap (6€) and it even comes with the wire sleeved (and the quality of that sleeve is not bad at all). The looks aren't bad either, and it looks quite white: its not milky, though, but its not greyish. But....although it looks not cheap from outside, you just can't compare it to any other decent fan (Scythe GT, Scythe S-Flex...) as it sounds weird for its speed (1200rpm) but maybe its just mine that seems not well balanced. For 6€ its not bad at all, deffinitely...but for such an astonishing build of yours I think you should aim little higher, although sometimes finding the proper color fan its quite hard :up: BTW, need to see how you are doing in your worklog :up::up:
Componentes are:
-CM 690 II Advanced
-HWlabs Black Ice GTS 240 Lite
-EK Supreme
-EK NB/SB 5
-EK Bay reservoir
-EK X-Top D5 Rev.2
-Laing D5
-Primochill Red 1/2" tube (I wanted white...but cound't find)
-TFC 1/2" and 45º compression fittings (wanted Bitspower but too expensive in Spain :rolleyes: )
I'm sending you some images for PM as I don't know if i'm allowed to post some more in this thread :cool:
My Humble rig in progress, still good ol' S755, but it's powerfull enough for what I ask from the system.
Still working on it, fans on the triple will get replaced by Scythe GT's 1850rpms, th Original psu for this one will be sleeved so my allready sleeved HX750 is hanging at it and no cable management at the back :D
and I've got a Supreme HF Nickel waiting to get installed next week ... :)

@Vlad'sAPE... Wow. :up:
Man, if I didn't know better, I'd swear you were using glass or polycarb in lieu of standard tubing.

Love your rig Vlad... It looks amazingly industrial
That's the Dell 3007WFC-HC :d
http://img200.imageshack.us/img200/390/img0845h.jpg
Great gaming experience so far as I don't notice lag in games. The 3008WFP has higher input lag than the 3007WFP-HC but has a scaler allowing you to switch to different res. and it has multiple inputs instead of just one DVI on the 3007. Rather than those 2 important things then it's basically the same as the 3007. Dell U2711 is a bigger version of U2410 with higher res and use H-IPS panel oppose to S-IPS panel for Dell 30", haven't played with it so I don't know if it offers any difference experience.
Anyway, I'll be glad to answer other questions if you PM me since I don't wanna go off-topic in this thread to reserve space for other members :)
Lol... I meant the fan speed/temp monitor in your case.
Thx's Petra, Flow was ok, I used to have this kind of loop in my P182 (supreme + ek FC gpublock + PA120.3 and a DDC 3.2 18w :).
But today after a 2 day festival I swapped my good ol' supreme with copper top for a shiny new EK supreme HF Nickel :D, so my flow went up and the bling got to the next level:yepp:
Also my old supreme, yuk really dirty, time for some cleaning befor I put it back in it's box
Some of you guys have done an excellent work.Congrats.

Nice MM build mwlhrh, like the clean plumbing...wish I had thought to put a drain line on mine.
Thanks rge...
when I first turned it on, I had a leaking 90 degree rotary in between the 2 RX360s due to me cutting the interconnect tube a little long and distorting the o-ring....I was thanking the good Lord at that moment for that drain!
rob
great pics everyone. I'll be adding mine after I redo it and add my GTX 480 to my loop.
Finally my first wc rig,
took my time with leaktesting, cable management. And the case is just wonderfull really love it. To bad my pump died after shutdown pc. But the temps where very great and very sillent before faillure (rma) hope it arrives this week. And thanks to the Xtreme members who helped me with advise.:)

@Sniper101: Nice tube routing. Great 1st build
+1, and I just finished rebuilding mine, then saw Vlad'sAPE plumbing with straight tubing runs with black fittings which looks awesome, then mwlhrh gave me some more ideas for plumbing ....now trying to resist redoing my plumbing with black compressions with some 90's *sigh*...especially since will be upgrading when new platform comes out, whenever that is.
Fantastic job on the A05, Moitrux.
A05 you say? You reminded me I haven't put my photos here :)
