haha whos great idea was it anyway to bring that pot to a, i say again , KINGPINCOOLING sponsored event. haha.. even if u didnt bring a pot i have a feeling vince would just load up a block of copper on the cnc and whip one up for u. fresh off the cnc. hahaha. lucky no one tried to slip in a alu pot.. lol.. vince would have probably used it as a paper weight..lol

btw did ANYONE get pics of vinces chipset pot?

Great on dry ice. On LN2.. it was straight up murdered by a w3540 @ 5.1GHz and 1.5v through 06 CPU test. Started at -80C with the pot half-way full and by the end of the test down to -68C.

wPrime 1024M was a joke. Started at -80C with the pot FULL and after ~30 seconds the system blue-screened due to temps getting to around -50C.

I brought the pot to test it as I'm reviewing it for Koolance. The F1EE and Venom are still my favorites :D

thanks for the comments guys.

shooting an event like that was a blast. when i was competing at GOOC in LA i would just look around and think of all the potentially incredible photos to be had of guys concentrating so hard on their rigs. the smiles and frowns, the confusion and elation. it is definitely an easy job for a photographer to shoot guys benching. i think the photos tell the stories well enough that i didn't bother to caption them. kind like a 'write your own story' gallery.

oh and Dave, i'll have my IP lawyer send over the bill for you altering the photos without written consent...i'll tell him to go easy on you though :D

lol yeah. I do that when bored while benching. I need to get more sleep, once I graduate :yepp: Awesome pictures of the event though, some of them you can see where shot between people, there is a good one of Vince's face shot between two people.

Crap. I forgot to claim my prize. Jody yanked that w3540 right from out of my hands(Jody was the last guy to bench). I guess that is payback for giving him SARS :cool:
