Looks like everyone I passed a while back are all gearing up to not just pass me but run me flat over

Mine is at 3.0 until I get better cooling.:(
Thats it, I'm gonna make getting another chip and having my work pc run smp a priority. If I can do it under 5 days you will never catch me Barnacle! HA ha ha ha!!!
Don't go thinking I will just let you go without a fight :lsfight: :D
I changed some settings with my computer, but I'm not sure if it'll actually make anything faster... I went from 9x400fsb to 8x450fsb and then tightened some of the RAM timings a little bit. I can't seem to get much above 3.6 on my Q6600 though, which is a little disappointing because my load temps are only around 49C as reported in Everest.
I'll let you guys know if these changes effect my productivity at all.
Wtf!!!!!! Ugh!!

Okay Barnacle, I'll give it to you for now. :(
Ah man, 2long, that really stinks. I think my estimated overtake for you has been 4 days for the last 1.5 weeks. If you get that client at work figured out I don't think you'll have too much of an issue rebounding.
:wtf:
lol, somehow I had windows setup to automatically check for updates and install them. I think the latest one also automagically rebooted my system without asking and I lost some WUs. That crap is turned off now...
same thing happened to me while I was out of town. got my SMP client all hosed up. Lost a WU, and about 3 days of production. :brick:
good...i mean . .uh, oh that sucks! (now you won't pass me as quickly)
Uh oh... I just called microcenter and they told me they have the q6600 in stock. I feel my wallet getting lighter already.
Got the new G0 ($199) and a GA-G31MX-S2 ($76). I took out 4 of the 8GB I had in my primary system (I wasn't using over 4GB anyways), an old 40GB laptop hard drive, a Scythe Infinity that was sitting around, and the Case/PSU from my Athlon64 system. Hopefully I can find some time to put it all together and have it crunching in the next couple of days. I'm interested to see what kind of OC this little economy biuld will do.
Nooooooo! I opened the MB box and there was an Asus board in there. Model P5GC-MX, piece of CRAP doesn't even support quads! I forgot why no one should ever shop at Fry's Electronics.
I almost didn't even realize it, I had already started plugging components in and everything.
Oh no guys... we need all the cpus... team stats are taking a nose dive
I see that, what gives?
My best folder is down atm too :( Pulled the network cable & stopped the client while it was uploading & I was playing online - when I restarted the client it complained 'cos its client expired 2nd Feb... but Stanford's link to the new Linux SMP client is dead - and the link is apparently to the 6.00beta1 which is out of date anyway. Hopefully I'll get time to sort it later, or I might do it when my new project gets underway, the components of which are currently on order ;)
Well next week is spring break so all my systems are shutting down :(
This also includes my main rig because my DFI 790FX-M2RS I got for my phenom doesn't work right. Therefore, expect to see close to 0 points all next week. I'll have something running as I need a computer but whether or not it is something I can fold on I don't know (if I borrow my dad's old laptop I don't think its cooling is up to the task).
I have some parts from a friend's PC I'm selling for him but i haven't gotten them posted yet. Asus L1N64-SLI WS, dual FX-70s, 4GB RAM.... maybe I could set that up for temporary use...hmm....
Dual cpu board sounds nice, Movieman would be proud 'm sure :d
Ask your friend though ;)
You know him the best offcourse, your call ;)
Don't make me drewl to much, still on 2 17'' crt's here :sofa:
Good news, I remembered I still had my old opteron 165, asus A8R32-MVP, and 2GB DDR here. I have technically sold the CPU and RAM but I haven't been home to deliver them, plus I haven't gotten paid for them yet either, so I do have the use of them. So currently I am back on my trusty old opteron and I installed windows vista 64 bit trial on my spare HD to use for the week. What better time to see if I like vista or not :)
OK sc00p you passed me, happy now? :p:
As of right now all my crunchers are shut down, and won't be back up until the 23rd. I will have my temporary PC running so at least I won't be totally pointless.
Vista x64 is giving me issues on it though, not directly folding but just general windows stuttering which I'm sure slows down the SMP client a bit. I did notice though that regardless of how I shut down the SMP client (ctrl + C or just a windows shutdown) it would always start where it left off. I guess the SMP just likes me
OK, i've got some stability back now and pushing hard to help the team although with Sparky down for a week that's gonna hurt!
LETS GO TEAM - PASS DA PIMPS! :shoot: :pimp:
Well I was disappointed in my production because I have a couple rigs down so I went ahead and bought another q6600.
I have no willpower...:(
But thats great for the team I guess!:yepp:
 Don't cut your wrists open  I really worked hard to overtake you and I had technical advantage.
I'm sorry of all of your mishapps. You've had lots of bad luck this winter :(
Have a great Spring "Break"
Yes. Lets :frag: them! Mr. Pande is on my sight too :hump: :wth:
 :moon: You really thought that you couldn't overtake me fast enough :shakes:
Nah, just kidding. Great move, I wish I could obey your lead
Great news. These wonderful news just keep coming.
:wtf: each&everyone :wtf:
