No New Beta BIOS Updates?
nope doesnt look like it
i have made an official request to get gigabyte to do whatever they have to do to remove the 400 FSB limit especially on 9x or high multi cpu's.
also the whole rebooting issue when overclocked too far, amde ANOTHER request for them to fix the no boot issues instead of having the bios reset like it used to.
hhmm whatelse...
but nothing new yet, im sure they are working on it though.
Anyone finding F4 final better than F4e for DS3 ?
works fine for me,, i wouldnt say anything is better about it.
probably the same atleast for me
yeah what he said :PQuote:

Put a 820d in it and clocked it to 3.7 prime stable and it worked great. I just got a 6400 and have it clocked at 3.2 dual prime stable for 1 hour. idles about 42c and dual primes at 55c with a arctic cooler. My pi is below. I can run at 425 but not dual prime. Can't boot to windows at 450. I have corsair 5400 c4 2gig. 400 is with vcore 1.3625. .2 on bfsb and 2 on vdim. Well thought I knew how to paste my screen. I got to look at that some more. anyway i run 18.86 at 3.2 8 x 400 with 1:1 400 5-5-5-10
try this:Quote:

My DS3 wont hit 400MHz FSB :(
I have tried all versions of BIOS, even placed a fan next to NB heatsink. I have tried to put the voltages up as well, but still it will just reset fsb speed back to 266 (actually it disables the fsb controll) at anything higher than 395..
Anyone else having similar problems?
hey guys
is F4 retail bios making mem go at 2.1V @ 400Mhz ? I've set to normal and both Speedfan and GigaTune says it's 2.1V. I've set in bios Vddr to +0.1V and programs says it's 1.9V
:banana::banana::banana:ty GB team :| once they overvolted CPU, now RAM :|
New F4b for DS4.

It is for DS4, not DS3 ! :nono:
:p:
DS4 + TeamGroup 2x1GB 3-3-3-8 = NO BOOT
No boot with 1 stick nor 2...
...a generic 512MB stick works fine...
...tried upping vDimm (1.9V to 2.1V)...
...tried setting alpha timings manually...
...tried resetting bios for hours...
...tried with every bios.
I can't believe both sticks could actually be DOA.
Anyone have any ideas?
