I see that you have a liking for Plextors as well ;) I have a Plex museum at home.. and the first gen scsi CDROMs still work too! Once again.. great taste.
You only live once....
I have my station in front of a bay of 4 windows :D I am seriously thinking about using an IwakiRD30 to drive at least two PA120.3 set ups...gotta keep that Iwaki dry though...
Are those Windy cases sold anywhere outside Japan - or pref. in Europe?
No...it was a real trick getting one ;) A friend in Singapore was kind enough to fly one in for me.
One fine day, you should visit Singapore (if you haven't already). They have two shopping malls, both of which have about six to seven floors of shopping. They sell only computer hardware. Its like a wet dream come true. In the 1970s and 1980s, they used to sell software and cd movies by the kg. ...roflmao... I did indulge myself a little lol... {was from there.. not anymore... but my brother still sends me stuff..}
However, that is nothing... nothing... compared to Akihabara in Tokyo.... remember the silly rap song.. gangsta's paradise? Akihabara is like a geek shangri-la lol :)
Now that is something I could easily convince the Wife we need to do:p:
Yes, everything fits including the front mounted dual 120mm water cooler with 8 hard drives. I think it's one of the most crowded stackers on the web haha.
CyberDruid,
What CPU block are you using there?
Correct. It's handmade by fstfrddy over at OverClock.net. It's okay...but I have another coming from him...a new design that is more LGA 775 compatible.
Can we see some pictures of the inside of the jammed Stacker please?
CyberDruid, you make some killer rigs buddy.
I wish you were my neighbor.
Fine work sir....
:) Thank you.
This isn't my first wc setup, i think its my 3rd, but its definately the biggest.
i screwed my loops up a bit which i'll fix when i have time :shakes: .
overkill is probably an understatement but it was fun :).
at the moment this is how it's setup -
loop 1 = pump 1 -> rad 1 -> cpu -> gpu's
loop 2 = pump 2 -> rad 2 -> mosfet's -> NB -> SB.
Pump 1 is a danger den d5, pump 2 is a liang ddc, rad 1 is a pa120.3 and rad 2 is a black ice gtx 240.
when i change the loops i will separate the cpu and graphics cards, but should i match the cpu with nb and sb or the mosfets?
any advice is apreciated, unless it involves a trash can :p: i'll better manage my cables when i change the loop :up:
one more thing, i have 2 of those silencer 750's so i have a bunch of power to spare.
i'm open to ideas as to how i can use this spare power to chill my loops?
silent is preferable, i was even thinking of sticking a TEC on a radiator but that seemed stupid.
i dont want to take off any water blocks tho.
dude, buy a radbox or 2
ummmm..... defo need a clean.... up
looks 2 bizzy in there atm.... :)
I'd put the CPU with the NB. Although the NB probably runs about as hot as a GPU if you overclock, it will be easier to get tubing to the NB.
Nice setup though, I would clean up the cable management a bit, but other than that, great! What dye did you use in your liquid? It actually looks red, not pink! :ROTF:
the dye is fliuid xp, it was called blood red. i agree with u about the cable management and with blaqmale about the radiator. the cables i can fix but the rad is too much trouble. i'm using this system as a gaming rig and htpc, i also use it to download. this means i want it on 24/7 and no flashy lights (its in my bedroom), so i don't have a clear panel on the side plate. i even unpluged the hdd and power lights! for those reasons im not really concerned about how it looks on the inside (to some extent), i'm more concerned about performance and temps.
so you reckon pair the cpu with the nb? what should i do with the sb? stick it with the rest? cheers for the fast replies too :up:
Love what you did here

:D :D :D
yea that i freakin sweet. i dont have the extra fans to do that, yet.
i ripped that idea off someone else lol. i think it was on this forum? it was all i could do to make that giant freakin radiator fit somewhere but i just realised i dont need it to stick out that far anymore!
